  The first thing you want to do is to ensure you have all of your known appointments, meetings and functions is entered in the calendar.
  a. click on file in the windows calendar.
  b. click on export. (This will take you to the export dialog box.)
  c. choose a location to store the file *. ICS. (The ICS standard is a standard text developed by Apple to facilitate importation of text data for the calendar).
  Note: Save the file to removable media such as a CD or a Flash drive and bring it to another computer to import other utilities of calendar. Or you can also save it on the same computer for upload to the calendar application.

  Now we can import this file into several types of calendar applications such as Yahoo or Google Calendar online. For example, I'll show import you backups window "in MSN Calendar.

  Go to your MSN Calendar, and click the Add drop-down list and import calendar. Enter the location of the backup schedule, and then click Import.

  
  NOTE: another thing to remember is the file ICS is a calendar snapshot. This means that all changes will not automatically be saved in the file. If you rely on your calendar strongly make sure to save regularly.

  How you set the reminder on Windows Calendar?

  When you set an appointment, in the right pane are the details of the appointment.
  Have you, you use the drop-down menu that lets you choose when pressed?

  Also, did you do a check for "reminders should show when Windows calendar is not working?
  It is listed in the menu under file-> Options.

  If you change the reminders of recurrence option to zero, close off Windows Calendar and then reopen and change each month.

  Yes, there is a simple solution:

  "To ensure that Workflow tasks Data Miner is visible in your user interface".

• MXL Script in the Windows box running against Essbase on UNIX

  We use the ESSMSH command on a Windows machine to run a MXL script that runs on an Essbase cube on a Unix machine. The MXL script calls a script to calc which exports a cube's data and writes the output file to a directory on the Unix machine. The MXL script then uses the import command to load the previously exported data. The problem I have is pointing the command to import the file on the Unix machine. I tried to use "dbname IMPORT DATA FROM SERVERTEXT FROM datafile... ", but I can't seem to make it work.
  
  I got a MXL script to work to do the same thing but the throw from a shell on the Essbase server script. It just seems to be delicate at the launch of MXL from machine Windows going against an Essbase cube on a Unix machine.

  If you place the file in the app/application/base directory on the Unix server, you should be able to call from the Windows box. I think you have to use a .txt extension.

  Assuming that you are referring to the calendar in Windows Mail...

  The only way I know is to turn OFF the navigation pane or the details pane

  Windows Vista has an option to cancel the system restore. To do this, follow these steps.
  1. open the system restore by clicking the Start button, all programs, accessories, clicking System Tools, and then click System Restore.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

• Windows calendar - reminder on the date of

  I have a monthly appointment that I put in place on the calendar for the first of each month. It was easy to make the recurring appointment. However, I want that it reminds me of the appointment to the date of the appointment, not x number of minutes. If I choose "to date" reminder, but it sets the date of the first occurrence of all occurrences. For example, the callback for 1 August is on August 1. However, the reminder for September 1 is set for August 1! The same is true for any other months that follow. Someone knows how to fix this?

  There is no option to fix this (I also).  I find it interesting that the default options for reminders do not include the date - maybe that has something to do with the problem.  I can't find any mention of this problem or proposed fixes (Microsoft or by carefully searching the Bing and Google).  I can even find another thread in another forum that addresses this problem.  Although there may be a registry fix for this problem, it does not appear in the registry and I could still find no reference to one.  I'm afraid, it is a bug in the program that we have to live with. I want to emphasize that I found MANY programs of reminder for Vista (some freeware) that should do it properly - but I could find none that directly linked in the Windows Calendar (and besides, reminder dates in Windows Calendar are wrong so the other program would probably use those incorrect dates as well).

  In the State, the only solution I can suggest is download a 3rd party program calendar to replace Windows Calendar and I hope it works correctly - or set the reminder of a day in advance and just leave it so that it shows two days of reminders (assuming that the those old remove automatically the day of the appointment, since they have been set for one day in advance).  Not really practical and not a very good workaround solution, but the only thing I can think of.

  Sorry, but I don't think there is a solution to this problem in Vista or Windows Calendar.

A took about 45 minutes to reflect the existing for the connected SSD HDD. After that, I have swapped drives, ran the optimization of SSD and it was good to go.

  The special tools required for this were opening and pry tools and an USB HARD drive adapter. There are many videos on YouTube that show how to open the laptop.

  Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook dv6-3180ea and issues with updates. I would simply ignore the update. It happens from time to time that the update will not go through your system is already updated and it's why it fails.

  Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers who might need to update on your system.
