"There is a problem with Windows Live ID"

I got access to my Windows Live mail via the "Hotmail" link on my laptop for months-, but since a few weeks I could not.  Instead, I get a message (with the Windows Live logo and heading) saying: 'we're sorry, that there is a problem with Windows Live ID ".  I can access my account email fine from my pc.

Is this a problem of Windows Live?  I looked on the relevant phone forums but can not see it is the phone itself.

I have the answer!

At rang Orange this morning... you have to go on your phone and on the websettings, click options, then scroll data settings, and you need to clear cookies and cache... honestly, took me 5 minutes and it worked, can now get back to emails on the go

  • Having a problem with Windows Live Mail lock up shortly after the start.

Having a problem with Windows Live Mail lock up shortly after the start. When I start the Task Manager to end the process, it sometimes freezes and the only way to solve the problem is to disconnect which forces the profile to close. Assuming a corrupted profile, I followed the instructions of Windows support to fix a corrupted profile and copied all the files except ntuser.*. When I try to paste them into the new user profile (all profiles are admins), I get the error message asking if I want to leave to proceed. When I click on continue, all THE files in the profile block "corrupt" to the new one, including ntuser.*, that I was not choosing. Why? If the files are rewritten empty? Tried 3 times, same result. Please notify.

I think I found it! I went in the Windows Live Forum and found a thread that looked like my problem. He suggested going to msconfig and take off Live Mail list start. I couldn't find it on the list, but the top element was "" default EXE"something of an unknown manufacturer. I took it out of the startup list, and Live Mail works again! Thanks for your help!

Recently, a change has been introduced whereby it asked me to confirm my mobile number so that MS can send me a verification code that fits into a security process probably intended to check my Windows Live Sign On, however, it happens that it is not possible to select a mobile phone in my country (Malta, European Union).

I would also like to point out that even though I select Remember me, remember my password within logon, Windows Live Messenger still brings me my username and password for my Windows Live ID account (* address email is removed from the privacy *); This is why does not remember my login credentials.  This happens on my laptop running Win XP SP3.

  • Problem with Windows Live Screen Saver - about Indeo codec

Curiosity got the better of me and I tried an old favorite game on my Vista.  In fact, it worked, but now I have problems with my Windows Live screensaver.  He stops working whenever it starts.  Not too serious, but very annoying and we love our screensaver slideshow.  I uninstalled the game using the uninstall program, but the problem is still there...
Here's the problem report that keeps coming back.  I'm ready to try the suggestions, but the link in step 1 doesn't seem to give me any information that would be useful.  I would try the second step, but I don't know if the unsubscription iac25_32.ax will mess thing up - and if so, how do I re - register... Help, please!

    Problem report

has stopped working properly. is a codec. The file name of this codec is iac25_32.ax. To try to resolve this problem, follow these steps. One step might solve the problem, but if it isn't, then go to the next step.

    1. Click here to access the Intel Corporation Web site to check and install updates iac25_32.ax

    2. Use the regsvr32 command to unregister iac25_32.ax

If you are unsure which program is causing the problem, you can delete iac25_32.ax from the list of codecs installed by cancelling registration there.

      Warning
Iac25_32.AX deactivation will result in all programs that are based on the codec to stop working or lose functionality.

      1. Click on the Start button , then, in the search box, type command prompt. In the list of results, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

      2. At the command prompt, type regsvr32 /u iac25_32.ax, and then press ENTER. iac25_32.AX is now saved.

  • Problems with Windows Live Mail 2011

It should be clear to everyone by now that Windows Live Essencials 2011 is full of bugs and doesn't work as well as the previous version. My problem has to do with the Live ID Signin Assistant. Conflicts of this program to be able to view the network shares on the WDTV Live.

I used Windows Live Mail for years and have been happy with the program. With this version, it was possible to uninstall the Live ID Signon companion in Add and remove some programs dialog. Apparently there is no way to uninstall this program with the 2011 version.

Access my network shares is more important to me than to use all Windows Live programs, so unless there is a way to resolve the conflict with the Assistant of Signon, (such as uninstalling this specific program), I'll be forced to remove all Windows Live my computer programs and start using a different e-mail program. It would be unfortunate, because the habit altogether by using Windows Live Mail.

I'd appreciate any help or advice on this issue.

  • BIG problems with Windows Live Mail

I am running Windows Live Mail on Windows 7 Professional to access my AOL email accounts, which are on a basis of IMAP.  I use a laptop brand new have a 1 TB HDD and 8 GB of RAM, so the size and speed are not a problem.  The first annoying problem I have is that whenever I close by Mail, I get a message saying that it is the purge of records.  Five seconds later, I get an error message from the server is offline, so the work has not ended.  Then, I need to close the windows.

Secondly, when I reply to messages, sometimes it takes 5 to 10 seconds or more for the wheel stops.  If there is an attachment to the original email, the message that I send doesn't go away, even after they are sent, which makes me wonder if it was sent.  There are also an excessively long time to delete messages.

I've used several other e-mail programs in recent years, including Outlook Express and have never encountered problems in using the same accounts AOL and format.  Are there changes I need to do, or are these problems known glitches between Windows Live Mail and an AOL IMAP account?

    JoeyC2
    1. the presentation of Softpedia pick the ' shortcut is at least 6 or 7 versions there is (and has been removed from the program there are at least 5 versions)-ignore
    2. the google image search is a mixture of old and some showing the latest version of civil (2009), which he has had 3 improvements. The most recent is WLM 14.8089.0726. To determine if you have the latest version on the top menu, click on help/topic/Microsoft Windows Live Mail
-If you do not see the menu, press the Alt key - it is used to toggle.  The menu can be disabled permanently by clicking the square to the left of the "question mark" at the top right. Scroll down and select the Menu display.
    3. do you intend to post in the Windows Live Mail Desktop using WLM newsgroup... If so, we can say your version by message properties. If you continue to post via the web interface, we cannot... so the earlier suggestions to use the discussion group showing the ability of WLM.  Knowing the version of WLM can make a difference in the problem and the answer.
    4. the configuration for the "purge" messages associated with an IMAP account can be found in WLM on its "Maintenance" tab
    Tools/Options/Advanced/maintenance
What are your settings for the two elements of "Purge" (Deleted messages) and Newsgroup?  Consider uncheck both
5 other things you should consider doing (temporarily) in WLM to rule out any automatic handshake between the AOL IMAP server and WLM
-Uncheck the send and receive Messages at startup; Uncheck the check Messages every x minutes (Tools/Options/general tab)
-Uncheck all options on the tab connection (Tools/Options/connections) and click on stop signing if the button/option is present.
-Uncheck "use deleted items folder for IMAP (Tools/Options/Advanced) accounts - this option has been know to interfere with the"Purge"for AOL accounts"
-Set the counter to 1 (Tools/Options/Advanced/Maintenance tab) - compact the database during shutdown.  Make sure that you are in e-mail mode, then take it out by file/Work Offline / file / exit.  WLM should encourage compact... agree and don't interrupt. Once that is done, open WLM, file/work online and repeat the test.
6 turn off email scanning in you client Antivirus and other applications (additional, firewall security software etc it email scanning is done)
    7. If you are connected via cable or a DSL connection set up Internet Explorer (or other browser never establish a connection.
-If you do not use IE, please specify which browser.

Report any success of failure after doing the above (you can try them both, or test each incrementally.

It would be much appreciated if you could communicate the results in a new message using WLM as your news reader in Windows Live Mail Desktop forum
