  • There was a problem of reset your PC - new Windows laptop, 8 problem

    Hello

I just bought a new laptop Windows 8, but it was the demo model so I want to reset to factory settings before using it, but I keep getting the message "there was a problem of reset your PC. The refresh option works well, it is just reset that I have problems with.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you!
I had the same problem, my new laptop dv6 HP Envy series of reset, and nothing seemed to work... I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, tried setting the registry and updates, and pretty much abandoned when I came across something that finally worked.  Your mileage may vary, as seems to be to use a HP tool, but other laptops probably have similar software.
    1. first of all, go in the menu settings of Windows 8 in the bar of charms
    2. Select "General" on the left, then select "Advanced Startup" down to restart
    3. now, after the laptop starts up to the blue options screen select "Troubleshooting" and then select 'Advanced Options', then 'settings of UEFI firmware.  Reset by selecting or refreshment of the options screen always gave me the error message and it was to square.
    4. now, I get a Start Menu ASCII with several choice of function keys, including "System Recovery", which is what I chose.
    5. now I'm prompted to my keyboard, and then I get another blue screen "Choose an option" a bit different from the one in step 3, and then select "Troubleshooting", but then "Recovery Manager", and "Windows 8".
    6. I get the recovery of HPs Manager menu, when one of the options is "Minimizes Image Recovery", which restores the operating system to a State of minimal factory.  Choose this one and wait for about 45 minutes, while the installation of HP software tool does its thing.  It seems to take a little more time to reset the system in this way does it in the usual way for a reason, but you do not get near the amount of bloatware.
I don't quite understand why this works and is not the usual way of resetting of the operating system, but I guess that something is messed up in the registry or config file, preventing Windows 8 by using some of the Tools System.  By selecting the UEFI firmware settings, however, gives us a way to launch the system from the recovery partition tools.  I'd be curious to know if anyone else gets it works, or has any idea why it works.
In any case, I think that it's major design flaw: the possibility of calling to zero/restore the operating system should not be heavily dependent on the OS installed, because usually people want to do that once the OS itself is messed up.  In addition, the fact that you have to plow through so many menus to find the good solution is also an indicator of poor design (this criticism applies to a large part of Windows 8).

When I try to reset my windows 8 on my laptop I get this message there was a reset your PC problem, how can I fix that someone know I got it for 3 months time microsoft solve this! *

Then ask Dell support as it is only two weeks old. You probably don't need to do any sort of reset at all.

    Hi Newgirl11,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

We don't have much information about the compatibility of the game with Windows 7, you can see the link below.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-7/enus/search.aspx?type=software&s=family%20feud

To work around the problem, you can try to install the game in compatibility mode and check if it works very well.

To run the troubleshooting program compatibility Troubleshooter

    1. Open the program compatibility problems by clicking on the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooting, and then click Troubleshooting. Under programs, click on run programs for previous versions of Windows.
    2. Follow the instructions contained in the resolution of the problems.

If you are unable to install a program, insert the installation disc for the program and, using the Troubleshoot utility, navigate to the program setup file, usually called Setup.exe, Install.exe, or something similar. This utility is not designed to work on programs that have an .msi file name extension.

  • Problems with editing text in the window Live in shared Mode

I use CS3, because that's what we had in this work, that I am.  Recently, I had the chance to go back to CC, when we went to CC2015.  I had CC2014 on another job and worked with him OK.

I work in shared Mode because I love to see both points of view.   But some things are go, I don't remember being a problem when I had cc2014 (not to mention earlier versions).  I remember very well by clicking on the text in the 'live' view of the page, I'm working on and seen the code section moving to the same piece of text - but not now. And I also don't seem to be able to modify in the pane is 'live'.

I'm doing something wrong? Or is there a setting I need to change?

You very probably work in Design mode in previous versions, which will go to the Code view for the correct lines when you click a Design element.

Live View edition is new, CBWMS and previous versions had no direct editing feature at all.

Click on the small triangle next to the Live button in the toolbar and select design, it should work more as you describe from there.

  • Ripple said: there was a problem loading webworks.js

I'm starting with BB10 WebWorks. I downloaded 2.3 Phonegap, implemented the project example, hosted locally using MAMP and opened in Chrome with ripple.

Ripple alert "there was a problem loading webworks.js" and the chrome console shows that GET local:///chrome/webworks.js failed.

    Other things may be related:

-Cordova record ' Unknown user agent! by default, java' to the console.

-"The target-densitydpi window is not supported." has been connected to the console. I removed the target-densitydpi of the viewport meta tag setting and he stopped to complain.

I use v0.9.13 ripple in Chrome 24.0.1312.57 on Mac OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion).

    Hey,.

I think it has something to do with the platform you chose. I'm assuming you have chosen that option Phonegap for the platform and because of this ripple is not import the library of webworks he needs. I think you are going to choose one or the other. With the help of phonegap and compiling with webworks will work - u just need to take the line of local:///webworks.js and it should work. Do not know what are the reprecussions - have never used Phonegap.
