This cable or accessory is not certified popup while not connected iOS 9.3.4

I've updated to 9.3.4 iOS on my iPhone 6 more this morning. Now, this afternoon, I get a popup every few minutes saying "this cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone." I'm not connected to a cable or accessory. Support Apple advises to do a hard reset, which I did. After a few minutes I received once again the context menu. Not plugged into anything.

Never received that message before today. The only thing I know that has changed is the software update 9.3.4 (G 13, 35).

Similar experiences please mark as I have this issue too. I saw another post here, a user with an iPhone 5 with this exactly the same problem.

Kind regards

Charles Cavanaugh

Hi ccphd,

I understand that you get an error that the accessory is not certified, despite not having anything that is connected to your iPhone. I know it's important to have your device works reliably, so I am pleased to provide you with tips to help with this.

Learn the steps of troubleshooting we have for this message here:

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch won't charge - Apple Support

If an alert says that your accessory is not taken care of or certified

These alerts can appear for several reasons: your iOS device could have a port of loading dirty or damaged, your loading accessory is defective, damaged or not certified by Apple or your USB charger is not designed to load devices.

  1. Remove all debris from the charge on the bottom of your appliance socket.
  2. Restart your iOS device.
  3. Try another USB cable or charger.

I get the following message: "this cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPad." Oh, and the message repeats every so often. At first, I thought maybe would it be the earbuds, but I get the message, even though no headphones are attached. I get the message when no cable is attached. This occurs even if no cable is fixed. A hypothesis as to what is happening there?

  • This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone

    Hello dear,

    Yesterday, I bought a new iphone 5 s

I start fresh it load completely. restore the backup software and update to the latest IOS 9.2.1

Today, when plug me the charger, I see this message

(This cable or accessory is not certified and cannot operate reliably with this iPhone)

I restart it and try harder to plug and unplug, but still have the same message...

What can do me? While this charger is original it came inside the box of the iphone

    Thank you

Check the box at the bottom of the phone where the lightning card plugs in. See if there is any dust, dirt, lint or other debris blocking the area. You can use a dry, soft toothbrush to brush the area clean and use compressed air to blow in the region. See if that helps. Otherwise, you can then take the time to bring the product if you've purchased from Apple then can check the phone or find out the return policy of the place, that you bought, and they can replace it.

  • My new pencil Apple gives me a "this cable or accessory is not certified...". "message.

My new pencil Apple gives me a "this cable or accessory is not certified...". "message. It's out of the box again and I get the message when I plug my iPad Pro. Someone else with the same problem? All the patches?

Same thing here. I talked to Apple support by chat, but they were unable to help me. I need to call and talk to an engineer, according to them. Can I just ask a replacement, as seems to be evil charge as well. It started after the update to iOS 9.2 and it is momentarily fixed by returning to a backup but simply unplug the pencil once to have the "uncertified" - message pops up again.

  • BDP-S570 - does not connect to internet via wifi

I just bought this today and it does not connect to the internet via wi - fi. I'm entering properly (my iphone, ipad and computers connect very well). I called tech support and they had no idea what either. I then connected with an ethernet cable, updated to the latest firmware and tried again with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? It shows that the wireless is OK, but Internet Access - failed. When I return to the guests and have it analyzed the available networks, it shows that I am connected... something is weird. I'm back if I can't make it work in the next day or so.

Network problems can certainly be difficult to diagnose.
Here are some useful steps to check where your problem is.

Check the IP address: is it 192.168.x.xx? or 169.xxx.x.xx
If you have an address 169 it is a fake connect.

What kind of network do you have? It's a Modem/Router combo? This is a modem connected to a router and then your Blu - ray player.

the router/Modem combos are more complicated, and you need to consult your provider of Internet services (ISP) to connect to help. (maybe a MAC filtering problem?)

If you have a problem with your Modem/Router try get a router and connect to the modem, you can have the best success with a stand-alone router you will have with a handset as they are less complicated to use.
If you already use a stand alone, try to temporarily disable your security and test it without warranty.

is the firmware updated on your router (not the S70 but the router) the latest firmware is sometimes useful.

    Best regards
    Kimberly

  • I have been connected to the internet (wireless), then I unplugged the router and now I can not connect to internet. I tried diagnose the problem, but he said that he could not.

I have a wireless internet connection for my laptop. I was connected to the internet, and it worked very well, so I had to unplug my router and all of a sudden I can't connect to the internet more. When I open the available networks, I hit connect on mine and he said: it does not work then I hit "diagnose the problem" and then, he says he can't. Also it is not even give me the option to set my password to connect to my network, but it does when I try to connect to any other.

I suggest to unplug all your network cables and unplug the adapter from your modem AND router. ONLY plug your modem back power adapter in. Wait until you get a steady green light on your router, which indicates that it is ready. Then, connect the ethernet cable from your modem to your router INTERNET port. Connect the ethernet cable from your computer to any other ETHERNET port on your router. Finally turn the monitor for your router.

If you do not do so in this order, the router can not connect properly to the internet because it doesn't have the correct IP address of your modem.

  • ITunes store does not connect and then does not close help please

OK, so pretty much whenever I try to enter the Apple store that I get a little pop-up that says it can not connect to the Itunes store, I have to check my connection and try again, but whenever I close this box it appears immediately back to the point I can not even close Itunes with having to go Task Manager and ending the process manually.  I can't use the store at all and it's just getting really frustrating, because I know my connection and everything is not fine so it is no reason for this pop up.

is anyone else having this problem or if you have had this problem and know how to fix?

    Hello LadyJibril,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that you have problems connecting to the iTunes Store. I would recommend from the suggestions in this article: If you can not connect to the iTunes Store

If that doesn't help and you still have questions, then you can proceed to the procedure described in this article: Advanced steps for fixing iTunes Store connection issues

  • If I increase the volume his watch that the volume headphones but I am not connected to the headphones

If I increase the volume on-screen display this volume headphones but am not connected to the headphones because of this I am unable to hear the caller's voice, how can I solve this problem

The iPhone thinks there are headphones connected - you probably need to clean your helmet at the bottom of the iPhone.  There are many tips about this on Youtube.

Clean using compressed air, q - Tip with most of the fuzz removed - do not use metal you can short-circuit the contacts in the port.

Reboot your phone by pressing on ON / Off switch and also by pressing the Home button until you see the Apple logo reappear.

  • I worked on the Web site of our Church and all of a sudden my computer does not connect to the site. I get a message saying that the connection to the server was reset while the page is loading. Can anyone has any ideas on how I fix?

I worked on the Web site of our Church and all of a sudden this week, my computer does not connect to the site. I get a message saying that the connection to the server was reset while the page is loading. Can anyone has any ideas on how I fix?

The error message "the connection was reset" can be caused by a bug for the attack of the BEAST fix (browser exploit against SSL/TLS) that the server does not support.

  • distance does not connect

Logic remotely allowing to work on this system. Now does not connect the remote control. Using the logic 10.0.7 and system 10.8.5

Not wanting to update system (work of plugins) and logic don't increase past this due to 10.8.5 I guess.

Guessing the app remote has updated itself?

Someone knows how to get these guys to play nice as they once ddi?

Yes... the last LR now requires the latest version of logic to work correctly...

    Since LR iTunes Info page...

    The system configuration required

    Requires iOS 9.1 or later

iPad support requires Logic Pro X 10.2.1 MainStage v3.2.3 or GarageBand v10.1

iPad support Pro requires Logic Pro X 10.2.1 or MainStage v3.2.3

support iPhone requires Logic Pro X 10.2.1

I hope that you have a backup of the iPad in iTunes so that you can roll back the LR app on your iPad... for an earlier version, otherwise you are stuck, I'm afraid to say...

Note: I recommend not turning not not on automatic updates on IOS or OS X devices due to these types of problems after applications or operating systems are automatically updated...

    In IOS...

Auto power off app updates may be a bit difficult to find in the settings, but follow these quick steps and you'll be done without delay. Under the Automaticdownloads section, you will see an item called updates. Tap the toggle switch to turn it off so that it goes from green to gray.

    In OS X...

There is a new default in OS X Mountain Lion. You can turn it off by going to the Apple, system preferences menu, and then selecting the Software Update pane. Uncheck all the boxes next to 'Searchautomatically the updated'and 'Download newly available updates in the background'.

When I click on a link to seend an email to someone, I get an erro message that says that this yahoo mail server can not connect

and my messages are not sent. I have a total of 9 messages that have been blocked.

Do I need to have a pop3 address or can you tell me what is happing.

You must have an account set up under Tools | Accounts | Mail to send from Windows Mail.  If you click on a link, it will not lead you to a webmail interface, but called instead a mail client, such as WinMail.  Around that, the only way is to copy the email address and paste it into a new message you have composed of webmail.
