I have a Windows server 2003, and I am unable to distance on the server. The error message I get is 'this computer cannot connect to the remote computer.

  • I did a netstat - year to see if port 3389 is listening, does not see an entry for the port. I have
  • I checked the services and that they perform a remote procedure call (RPC)
  • Restarted the server several times.

I can remote into other servers of this machine if I log in locally.

Have you checked the firewall? Could be a firewall anti-virus that keeps you from log, as that happened to someone else on this forum recently.

Here's the situation.  We have 2 TS servers running WIN2K3 and 200 users with Thin Clients.  We'll call it the first server A and b of a second.

They normally connect to an IP address and they will be directed to the server A or B according to the load.

However; users can still select the specific TS server, they want to connect to.

If user 1 and user 2 cannot connect to Server B.  They get the error listed above in the title.  However the user 1 and 2 can connect to A server.  If they say:

192.168.123.2 the two of them get

192.168.123.3 the two of them cannot get.

I deleted the user de.3 A profile and it still can't get.  I have checked no orphan key inHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINEMicrosoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

I checked the settings in TSCC. MSC, I' checked worm Licensing by user and they are good, I gave them full administrator privileges and still not pass via the serveur.3, they adhere to all groups within the ORGANIZATIONAL unit that they can connect to TS, they were able to connect to her very well this back on Wednesday.  It is not a firewall issue and port 3389 has been verified in the case otherwise he would not just these two on each CT they try.

    Again, they can get utilisant.2.

In the event de.3 Viewer I can see users connected CORRECTLY but then it pop their right.  There is no other error message when connecting, just the success Message in the security log.

Let's bounce servers tonight so I'll have to turn it back on and I pray that they can later log on this server, but I'm baffeled.  Why only 2 people would receive this question and most (not sure how many others there may be, but I know 30 people connected today on this server and worked out of it) people are not getting an error.

The thin client on their desktop is not the issue, because the error follows them any CLIENT LÉGER, they are connecting from.

Short of this re-boot and short to delete accounts and recreate them, ideas?

Found the problem.  I did not remove the key to all the indicated previously.  I should have done that for this user since her CentralProfile Key was empty when she had to be filled in by the system.  Removed his Key specific SID for listed above point and viola.  User can connect.

  • Is it possible to limit the number of connections to the remote panel to a vi?

    Hello

I have an application that runs on a PXI RT system and I use the remote control to access. My license allows me to have several remote connections and it's ok that I sometimes need to open several remote panels at the same time.  However, I would like to limit the number of connections for a particular VI 1.  Is this something that can be done?

    Kind regards

    Patrick Lessnick

The way it can be done is to interview customers who are connected to the VI through a remote façade.  When you do that, you close the connection to anyone, but the first person who connected to the façade.  In this way, if someone is running the VI, no one else can connect.  Once they are made, someone else can then connect to the remote façade.  I created an example illistrates community this behavior.  You can find it here:

Hello everyone. I'm currently testing the package VMware view, but stuck on a problem, I can't understand.  I have already tried Googling every possible thing, but still came short on what to do.

    Currently I have:

    Server ESXi 3.5

    -vCenter Server

    -Connection to the server

-3 swimming pools installed individual office xp host w/view agents

At the moment, I seemed straight installation because I am able to connect using VMware client/portal with any full blown windows box anywhere in the internal network.  The problem I have is when I try to load the client software VMware view on a HP Neoware e90 box running windows xp embedded.  When I loaded the software and try to connect, I get the address connection server, authentication screen passes, but receives the error "the connection to the remote computer failed" when I try to select one of the desktop images in the list.

I am capable of everything everywhere, ping from thin client to conn. Server, thin client desktop image and vice versa.  I am also able to RDP in the desktop images in the light client area but just can't understand why it won't pass this error above.  I tried to disable the firewall on everything, but it still doesn't seem to work.  Am I missing a simple step or has someone else has encountered this problem before? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

When you have disabled the firewall was that the firewall or service / network level? If it was at the level of the network, then you must disable the service and stop it. So I recently had my password wrong too many times and my iPhone 4S locked out telling me "iPhone is disabled; Connect to iTunes'. And so I connected to iTunes and decided to restore my phone. I finished the process of restoration of the configuration of my phone, but ultimately, it was not even let me in the phone! Once AGAIN he said "iPhone is disabled; " Connect " to iTunes '. However, this time, this message appeared just when I turned on my phone with a black background. I didn't scan the screen for the error message is displayed (and there was no time to be shown). When I tried to connect to iTunes again as he asked, now it says "iTunes can not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password".

So now, he said "iPhone is disabled; ' Connect to iTunes' on my iPhone 4S and ''iTunes can't connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password ' on my computer. WHAT should I do?

As described in step 2 of "Erase your device with iTunes" in this article, you will need to use the Recovery Mode.

Recovery mode is described in this article as well.  You may try to go into recovery mode more than once to succeed.
