The problem is that your system cannot properly read your BIOS SLIC table - maybe it's a minor problem, or it is possible you have a counterfeit installation.

Please try first to re-create the license store.

Re-create the license store

Go to start > all programs > Accessories

Right-click on command prompt and select run as administrator - accept the UAC prompt

Run the following commands in the command prompt window, press enter at the end of each

net stop sppsvc

(expect that the service is stopped before entering the following lines)

CD %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform

Tokens.bar tokens.dat REN

net start sppsvc

slui.exe

After a few seconds, the Windows Activation dialog box appears.

You may need to reactivate and/or re - enter your product key or Activation can occur automatically.

If you are prompted for your key, use one on the COA sticker on the case of the machine

Restart and after returns with a new report MGADiag

  • Windows Vista build 6002 this copy of windows is not genuine (but it IS the case - and it is enabled)

The other windows of day did an automatice update and now the above message appears at the bottom right of my office. However, it is a true copy and it is enabled.

How can I get rid of this message.

EDIT: The problem seems to be resolved now

    Your report looks very good.

The problem is probably due to a race condition that temporarily blocked the operation License Service - including the system then interpreted as an attack on WGA and so marked. Often a reboot clears it, or it disappears when the system is a new trial.

It may have been a series of updates to .NET the cause - they tend to become pretty much the processor upon restart, while they re - optimize.

  • After removing a problem, a note on my desk says "this copy of Windows is not genuine".

Original title: Re: Edition Vista Home premium

Performed a scan; eliminated a problem.  Now have a note on the office that "this copy of Windows is not genuine" Vista provided with Dell computer.  That is what it is?

Looks like it has damaged something. Check if Avast has quarantined everything that you can restore.

You'd probably get the best advice from Avast directly:

I tried to connect to the internet, the screen went black and when she came back on everything on the screen has been expanded. Then, I changed my laptop, using the power button. When I switched back on it the "Windows Vista (TM) Build 6001 this copy of Windows is not genuine" message appeared in the lower right corner of the screen, and all the icons on the desktop had been rearranged - with a few missing. I no longer seem to have the suite Microsoft Office applications on my laptop and I can't connect to the internet. Several other tools on Vista work is more (including the 'Research' in the Start Menu tool). Please note that I had my laptop for about 18 months and it came pre-installed with a 'Real' copy of Vista Home Premium Operating System, I had no problem with the operating system before this appearance. After reading other threads on the forum, I have downloaded and run the 'real diagnostic tool' recommended. I got the following results: -.

    Additional information:

Computers, which are built by large manufacturers provided with pre-installed Windows are supplied with 2 two product keys:

OEM SLP: This key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)

COA SLP: it's the product key that you see on the sticker on the side (or at the bottom, [or in the battery compartment]) of your computer. It is a valid product key, but must be used only in certain situations (for example, if the OEM SLP key stops automatic activation for a reason any). The key must be activated by phone. (Note: all manufacturers that use the SLP OEM system are bound by contract to include a certificate of Authenticity sticker (COA), which has a COA SLP key, on the computer)

  • Windows 7 - Build 7601 this copy of Windows is not genuine

    Hello everyone.

Im a newbie here so I hope I get this right.
I have a question about this message on my desk to read "Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy of Windows is not genuine."?
I bought this Satellite c660 to Qatif in Saudi Arabia and now he's here in the Philippines.
My laptop is Windows 7 Professional 32-bit. It asks for a product key and I can't find one. There is no product in the background key sticker and I don't know where to get that.

    > How can I get a copy?
If your laptop was initially shipped with Win7 preinstalled and you want to now order original Toshiba Recovery disk for your laptop that you can do it on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx
    >... where I can find a product key that I use to activate windows?
You can not find it. I put t understand your question. If you use OS Toshiba you n t need activation code, but if not you and if pre-installed OS is installed with the installation of Microsoft disk you need to pay for a valid license.

All the time, you're in the magic circle. You always ask the same question, but somehow, you don t read what other people write here. Please read another thread - http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/message.jspa?messageID=262518

  • "Build 6002: this copy of Windows is not genuine".

    Hello world...

I've had my TOSHIBA Satellite L40-139 for more than a year. She was purchased by PC World and came with a preinstalled version of Windows Vista Edition Home Premium. I don't have the disc that came with the laptop, but the Windows installed is genuine.

I went to install Vista Service Pack 2 after you download. I restarted my laptop only to find my desktop wallpaper disappeared and was replaced with a black background and the following text in the lower right of the desktop:

    Windows Vista (TM)
    Build 6002
This copy of Windows is not genuine

She was followed by a pop-up with two options, 'Activate now' or 'Activate later', followed by a pop up an error that says Windows must be reinstalled as a "unauthorized modification were made...". Please insert the CD or DVD. If I press 'Activate now' he's just another pop up that says I can contact TOSHIBA. If I click on the link it will just a standard screen for "help!"

I don't know what to do... I have the sticker intact COA product key and tried to enter, but she returned with various errors. It's like as soon as I installed service pack 2 I had problems. Yet once again, I don't have Vista or a toshiba recovery disk (I don't even know if it came with one). I tried to restore Windows, but it returns with the same screens!

    Help!

PS. is the Toshiba support line a toll-free number? Does anyone know a number that is free to call mobile phones? (I don't have a landline).

Your model of laptop is not delivered with the recovery disk, but with recovery image stored on the HARD drive. In s manuals document clearly describes that you must fund recovery DVD only tool preinstalled Toshiba recovery disc creator.

Version of the OS pre-installed (Toshiba recovery image factory settings) is definitely authentic and I really don t understand how it can happen. I mean thousands of people do the same update, and there is no other claim on similar problems.

Anyway, if you didn t create recovery disk you can try now is to reinstall the OS using the HDD recovery procedure. How to do this you can read in document http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htm Toshiba FAQ
This will remove all HARD drive, extract second partition so if you have some important data backup.

If it will not let me know.

Hello, this morning the following message appeared as my wallpaper:

    "Windows 7".
    Build 7600
This copy of Windows is not genuine ".

Windows was preinstalled on my laptop (i.e. is authentic).
I searched Microsoft, their solution is to run RSoP.msc - when I try to do, I gives me the message "Windows cannot find ' RSoP.msc". "

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey,.

And what Toshiba laptop you have exactly?

Windows 7 preinstalled or another OS?
This product key, you can find on the lower side of your computer?

    Hello

Looks like you used the system after receiving no real message for 30 days. Can you connect in safe mode (press F8 at startup)? This might help: http://www.sevenforums.com/windows-updates-activation/252903-black-screen-windows-not-genuine.html

  • "This copy of Windows is not genuine".

My family has owned this office for six years now. It runs Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2, and it was recorded and works fine until this morning.

Today, I was invited with a dialog box to activate Windows, and my desktop background has been replaced by a black screen with "Windows Vista (TM) / Build 6002 / this copy of Windows is not genuine" in the lower right corner. All my system restore points are missing.

The computer seems to work very well, but the warning indicates that the operating system should be registered 'today', so I don't know what will happen otherwise.

When I clicked to activate my copy of Windows, a guest said that the activation key is not valid for registration and provides a link to 'contact the Hewlett-Packard Company to fix this', so here I am.

There are many results of this online version, but they all seem to suggest reinstalling Windows from the drive and store all our data elsewhere (we do have one large enough to handle this drive), or using a system restore point (which, let us remember, disappeared).

I would like to know what my options are. Thank you.

    JJokerDude, welcome to the forum.

It is a problem best solved by Customer Service of Microsoft.  They have all the information they need to know that your copy of Vista is valid.  They helped me several times with similar situations.

As an Overclocker, I installed and uninstalled Windows many times.  Microsoft will only allow us to activate our copies online a limited number of times.  It must be so, call them to get activated.

Please, click on "Thumbs Up +" if I helped you and click "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.
