Three monitors on my Z580

Friends.

I try to use two additional monitors on my ideapad z580. An HDMI port and another on the VGA port.

Even if the laptop has recognized two monitors, it only allows me to use one of them as extened office.

Anyone help me use two additional screens at the same time?

Thank you very much!

Dear Brenomacedo

Welcome to the Lenovo Forums

Please be advised that the machine is not able to work with two external monitor using HDMI and VGA port, it only works if you have a multiple HDMI connector

Thank you

  • How can I connect three monitors in my desire to hp h8-1534

    Hello

Im trying to hook up 3 monitors to my new desktop. I just ordered an hdmi cable to vga for the second monitor. The view port on the rear however confuses me. Where can I find this cable? can't find it anywhere. Also it will allow me to have 3 separate screens of desktops to work on?

HP sells here. Display port HDMI.  The specifications for the Videocard to say it supports up to three monitors.  Use the EyeFinity for three monitors.

  • Y510P 59405664: Dockingstatin available, even with three monitors?

    Hello

I am about to replace my desktop and laptop system with the IdeaPad Y510P 59405664 as the two-in-one-solution. So: is there a docking station for this idea which is able to manage the following specifications?

    • mechanical keyboard via PS/2 (not an absolute must, but would be great)
    • mouse via USB
    • audio via RCA
    • three monitors
    • Gigabit ethernet

I hope that it is possible, even with three monitors. In my current setup of PC desktop, I use three monitors, too. The reason I think that it should be possible is that this IdeaPad has the internal CPU graphics (NVS), who can manage a monitor, and the second dedicated graphics card GT750 that should be able to handle additional monitors. All monitors are monitors FHD (1920 x 1080).

If there is No docking station available that can handle three monitors, is it possible to work with DisplayPort or something like that? I have not worked with DisplayPort, so I don't know what is possible.

I appreciate every response that is useful to me :-)

There is no docking station on the y510p

  • Three monitors on a Del Optiplex 7010

    Hello

I am trying to install three monitors on my Dell Optiplex 7010. I have the graphics card integrated ports (2xDisplayPort, 1xVGA) with you and use a PCI card with two ports (1xDVI, 1xDisplayPort).

The three monitors I have are out 2xDVI, 1 output VGA x.

I have been using some converters for my monitors cable to the DisplayPort Concerto to connect them to the Ports on the PC display.

Both DisplayPort monitors work very well using the integrated graphics card, but the VGA is not. I was told that it is because of the converters I use.

I tried several different combinations to make it work with no luck: (.)

Could anyone suggest how I might get this work or what graphics card I would be able to buy to make this work?

    Thank you

    Hi Shawn,

I've been in contact with one of your technical guys and we went through a few diagnostic checks to see why I could not as well integrated graphics card and graphics card dedicated to the work. We finally found a solution. Because I use Windows 8.1, I needed to update my BIOS using this link. Once I updated my BIOS, I went into the BIOS and enabled the multi-screen display box. Once we did, and I restarted my PC I managed to connect monitors for two graphics cards internal and dedicated, and they all work.

    Hope this helps someone.

    Kind regards

  • Three monitors on two AMD Radeon HD7470 video cards

I just got a Minitour OptiPlex 9010 with 2 dual AMD Radeon HD7470 1 GB graphics cards.  When I placed my order, I told them that I wanted to connect three monitors.  The VGA port has been inactive for other video cards have been installed.  I've been on technical support for more than three hours, when they finally decided to send a tech.  He was released the next day and told me that I needed a split adapter.  I ordered an and he hung up but there was showed the same jobs and I was unable to make changes to the resolution, etc.  Video cards have a DVI and a displayport.  I can connect a DVI monitor and others in the displayport and the monitor then third on the second video card?  Or can I just add another video card to the Tower?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

    Hi pbondcb,

You must connect the first monitor to the DVI port and the second for the DisplayPort on the first graphics card. The second monitor must be connected to the DisplayPort with the appropriate cable. You can connect the monitor third DVI port on the second graphics card.  You must enable the display via the Catalyst Control Center under Windows, using the Eyefinity function. The third monitor works only in Windows.

I hope you find this information useful.

Please reply to this message if you need help.

  • XPS 12 + two S2340T for three monitors have contact problems

I am testing a configuration of business as part of our R & D in the field.  I'm running a Dell XPS 12 8.1 Windows.  Last week, I ordered two external monitors S2340T for use with my setup.  In the past, I was able to successfully run the two external monitors for a three monitor Setup.  When I plugged in the first S2340T, everything worked fine. When I connect the other, I lost the ability to screen on the first.  On the second, when I touched the screen, he was interacting as if I touch the screen of the PC clean, despite the fact that he was it running correctly as extended desktop. I finally found that each monitor must be running with the USB cable (I found this in a forum of the year, even if the instructions I received still makes no mention of the need.) At the moment I touch on the screen of Mobile PC, as well as the first S2340T (monitor 1) that I am connected.  The other I'm connected (screen 2) takes any action contact and is the space in the mobile PC display.  If I disconnect 1 monitor, monitor 2 will work perfectly, as expected.  If I plug then 1 monitor, it won't work properly, allowing a contact immediately to show as a touch control on the laptop PC screen (thus imitating the question I had when monitors were reversed). I completely replaced the Dell drivers, even those it says is up-to-date.  I've disabled and upgraded.  At this point, I don't know what to try next.  Dell has recently told me to update my Bluetooth driver for a separate issue and immediately after, I lost the Bluetooth connectivity option and my Bluetooth mouse functionality. After you run an update of the driver from Dell, I lost my Bluetooth receiver on the laptop.  Fortunately, I've seen it before and all I have to do is to re - install the VPN we use SonicWall Global VPN client software.  Restart the system and my Bluetooth is back; but now neither monitor reacts to the touch on the scree, each monitor shows the point of contact as being on my Dell XPS 12.

    Try this...

    * Unplug the two computer screens
    * Reconnect the two monitors by USB 3.0 only (do not use DP or HDMI)
    * Use Windows to configure the monitors in extended mode and save this configuration
    * Go to the control panel
    * Contact search
    * Tablet select configuration - installation
    * You will see a screen that says "Touch this screen to identify it as the touch screen if it is not the press serigraphy tablet PC enter to move to the next screen.
    * At this point, press enter
    * This message will move to one of the external screens
    * Press the screen near the message until the message "press on enter to move to the next step in your configuration to compete."
    * Press enter
    * At this point, if only using a screen external, you will be on the tablet settings screen and you can close it. If you use several external displays, the original message will be then posted on other external display
    * You will see a display on the other monitor that says "Touch this screen to identify it as the touch screen if it is not the press serigraphy tablet PC enter to move to the next screen.
    * At this point, press enter
    * This message will move to one of the external screens
    * Press the screen near the message until the message "press on enter to move to the next step in your configuration to compete."
    * Close this window
    * Now every touch screen will work independently without affecting the other or the laptop screen

  • After a clean install of Windows 8, I can't get three monitors to work

I did a clean install of Windows 8 pro.  I have a Dell T1500 with over-pants V4800 graphics.  This machine previously had Windows 7 installed and works with the ATI driver.  With Windows 7, the three monitors worked without problem.  Now, with Windows 8 installed I can't get two monitors to work.  I use the more updated driver for Windows 8 for the map on the website of AMD.  The third monitor can be seen on the page of the screen resolution, but I cannot "extend desktop...". "the third arch.  When I try to do so it gives me a message saying

"The display settings could not be saved.  Please try another combination of display settings. »

All three monitors are the same, Dell P2210.  I tried different resolutions. I tried the driver I was using on Windows 7, I uninstalled the driver and adapter repeatedly.  I installed all the drivers from AMD with the extras (hydravision, etc.).  I used just the default Windows drivers. I have change the placement of the monitors on the video card, but few matter where I plug them in, only two works.  All monitors are operational.  I even tried different monitors.  All this with no result.  I tried to use the Catalyst Control Center.  He sees the third monitor but just shows it as being disabled with no way to enable that I see from in the Catalyst Control Center.

It is the last obstacle for me to fully use this machine to Windows 8.  I'm puzzled.  I have read many other forums.  I've heard of this problem with Windows 7 as well so I don't know that it's specific to 8 but could very well be.  Yet once I had Windows 7 with three monitors with the same card.  Contribution to this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I had this problem on a Lenovo three installation of the monitor using the integrated display laptop, a monitor outside the mini HDMI and a third follow out of the HDMI Port among Replicator.

In the end, it's a simple solution.  When you go to display settings, all three monitors not reimbursed up to 1920 x 1080 and configuration could never be saved - however the 3rd monitor only supported by 1680 x 1050, which is the resolution (recommended).  After changing the 3rd monitor for the resolution recommended, I was able to save the configuration to display > screen without problem resolution.

I don't know why the resolution not supported has been set default to-after selecting the right pair, there is now no option to go to the highest resolution not supported on this screen.

  • Three monitors/vGPU profile

What is the profile of minimum vGPU to support three monitors on NVIDIA GRID K2? Thanks in advance for your help.

HI - you need K260Q or K280Q profile. The two profiles supports up to 4 monitors (2560 x 1600).

I would like to start with a K260Q profile for more density. What applications do you intend to operate?

  • Three monitors in Speedgrade?

I work with three monitors in first, Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, even PhotoShop (sort of). No there is no way to use my third monitor in Speedgrade? Currently, I can use my HDMI TV to view the enlarged image, and one of my computer monitors for the interface, but with all the windows of beautiful, invaluable in Speedgrade, it would really help if I could spread out them between both of my computer monitors. Is there really no way to do this?

    Martin

    OS X.9.5

    2015.0.1 release

N ° more pity, unfortunately. SpeedGrade only supports 2 monitors... one for user interface, one for the program monitor. And you're not the first to hit this... Let's say a decent number of professional colorists run three monitors... large monitor broadcast-tv for the customer looks at a main interface and monitor of the program "small". I've heard say that linking the right external boxes BlackMagic or whoever can't mount this... but it's two points of view the monitor program and only with a graphical interface.

Please feel encouraged to make a feature request on this... these things are what is read by the types of bean-counter who allocate resources for engineering teams. They "see" never forums user here.

  • Three monitors with a single video card?

    Hey guys,.

I have a user with a T430 possessing a video card Intel HD connected to a Mini Series 3 with 2 DVI connectors.

She claims that it connected to his laptop to another docking with the same configuretion and she was able to work with 2 monitors connected to the docking station and its display LCD on the laptop, I tried the same thing with its current docking station and it will not recognize 2, the LCD on the laptop and 1 on the monitor connected to the docking station.

I've never seen this work with just a video card, I saw him when he has a second video card in there, but once again, she claims, he worked on an another docking station (exactly the same thing from a work colleague) it is plugged.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

The T430 is able to support three LCD, if you use the 3 series with more mini docking station with 2 monitors connected via DVI or Displayport. The third monitor can be internal or external connected via the mini laptop own DP.

  • X 230, Intel HD 4000, dock and three monitors, how?

    Hello

I just got new X 230 (makes 12/12). It has intel HD 4000 and processor i7-3xxx-series.

I also got dock (the usb3 support).

I have foud some topics saying that x 230 would support 3 monitors, but how?

I have 3 x full HD monitors, 2 of them is connected with other with VGA and DVI to dock to dock.

Windows screen settings allows me to activate the 3 monitos, but custom 3rd "wake up" and after that windows manager reopenin of screen it says that 3rd monitor is "disconnected". The Intel tool provides only option for 2 monitors.

So, it is possible to activate the 3rd monitor?

    Hey there styleza,

Thanks for clarifying the dock you are using by comparing what you found there to the PSRef for your machine, it doesn't seem to be the case. The PSRef States:

"Intel HD Graphics 4000 in processor, supports external analog monitor via VGA and digital monitor via Mini Display Port; supports two independent screens. "Research on all for X 230 PSRef sheets, I agree, it doesn't seem Optimus technology was available for this machine as all PSRef sheets I could find for X 230 different configurations list only the Intel HD Graphics 4000. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

At the very least, I hope this clarifies things for you.
