I followed you instruction to back up the registry keys, but when I followed step number 7. Navigate to the location and look for the name of the file with the .reg extension and click Open, the message of answers that I received from the registry editor has been as follows: -.
Impossible to import C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\My Documents\My Backup\Backup260910.reg of register: not all data was successfully written to the registry. Some keys are open by the system or my other processes.
So I closed my computer and restarted. I then followed your instructions again (this time save the backup of the registry to a member in the same library, called "Backup260910bkup"Yet once, when I followed the number of the step 7. Navigate to the location and look for the name of the file with the .reg extension and click Open, the message of answers that I received from the registry editor has been as follows: -.
Impossible to import C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\My Documents\My Backup\Backup260910bkup.reg of register: not all data was successfully written to the registry. Some keys are open by the system or my other processes.
I look forward to receiving your response.

I have two printers (HP G85 & Konica Minolta 2500W magicvolor) on a small business connected by ethernet network and other cable series. The network server is managed by Windows XP Pro V2002 SP3I and I have access to the network through one of the two laptops Toshiba Tecra to operate Windows Vista Business SP1. My problem only occurs on one of the laptops (the other works fine). The problem is not always consistent and often causes different symptoms.
When starting the printer seems to be online and connected, however when I send a print to the system command accepts the order (or nothing at all), but the print window displays an error message after a few minutes. When I check the printer proerties sometimes I'm not able to display the port information at all. I have to cancel the print order, remove the printer from the network and 'Add printer' again. I send the print command and the printer now prints. Sometimes the print command works normally and sometimes, it takes a long time to print and the printer very very time consuming to complete the task from start to finish.
Now, I have added the printer once again I lose the connection again when I shut down the computer and must go through the same drama when I start again. The problem is that with a single computer.
grhilly,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft Answers community forums.
Can you give us a little more information so that we can better help you?
What is the exact error messages that you get when you try to print?
You get the same error message if you try to print to the serial printer or an Ethernet?
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer drivers on the laptop which is having the issue? The answers to these questions will help us better help you solve this problem.
In the meantime, here is an article that might help you to refine the question:

Error: 80070426
Already tried a few suggestions MSKB.
Method 2: Set Cryptographic Services to automatic, network logon. Result: Error (unsigned) 1083
Method 3: Rename the Catroot2 folder
Reregister DLL files that are associated with Cryptographic Services.
However, suite couldn ' t be installed.regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 gpkcsp.dllregsvr32 sccbase.dll
regsvr32 slbcsp.dllDCOM service - access denied when running.
sfc/scannow couldn't fix some corrupted files.
Computer HP laptop came with Vista pre-installed, so I do not have the repair disk.
No doubt the system restore won't help, as I remember recently that c-Cleaner wiped the old restore points.
NOD32 Antivirus + Spyware Doctor still running. Already run MSRT and Super Spyware, but nothing much.
Kindly help!
Kind regards

Finally, I worked it out myself. But it's painful to watch than virtually any other that Uday has responded to my problem. Something I've been waiting for so eagerly.
I applied my common sense and defragmented the dirives then sfc/scannow, and it worked. Cryptographic Services said when I began to log in as network account. So my problem is solved. Now, windows update works fine.
Interestingly, Microsoft Fix it, says it cannot start the Cryptographic Services. Are God, while the _____ you supposed to difficulty? It made Internet Explorer icon on my desktop and other places.

I think I have problems arising from the Windows updates do not install it.
I can't uninstall all the programs already on the computer - I get the message "Please wait while the current program is finshed uninstall or changed" on every single program.
Also, anything with an authorisation button freezes as son as I click on it without the authorization window popping up. for example. the clock or the managed task advanced details.
This has led to problems trying to install other software for example. I tried to install a game that failed, because the .NET framework 4 would not install.

I'm running 32-bit Windows Vista Home Premium on a Dell Dimension E520 PC desktop with processor Pentium dual core and 3 GB of RAM.Reasonably up-to-date hardware. Well protected and all software security entirely to so far.My problem that goes from Windows Update is not install updates from 14/04/2009 and returns the error Code 80070002.I followed the advice and went in the Windows Software Distribution folder and remove all the contents of the data store and records downloads and tried again about thirty times now.I get regarding the acceptance of the license agreement and clicking on, ok, when Vista dims the screen and asks if I started it and then the error message in Windows Update, saying: "some updates were not installed."Is not a computer expert, I guess that what is described in help Windows Update error Code 80070002 is the same as 0 x 80070002 for which I found advice on a Microsoft page to save these commandsnet stop wuauservCD %systemroot%\SoftwareDistributionRen Download.old downloadnet start wuauservas a windows batch file and run as administrator.I now have a download folder and Download.old folder. Fascinating but no help at all!I infer that the numbers of 0x0 are my six error codes failed attempts to install Vista Service Pack 1, a few months ago who always ended up with an unusable computer suspended with a black screen and the white writing showing 46 thousand of 96 thousand file and something, followed by a number of 0x0.The only way I could get of these attempts was by booting from the Installation of Vista disk, masking the Service Pack 1 update and using the system restore, but that's another story.Have an impact on my current problem, I wonder? For absolute clarity are the updates that won't install:Explores update for Internet Explore 7 edition (KB963027) 14/04/2009 (Just editing that.) Typed a wrong number in a first time. Sorry).Four updates of security for Windows Vista (KB952004) (KB956572) (KB959426) (KB960803)Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - April (KB890830). (I downloaded it manually and run it from my office and we found no problem).Update of security for Microsoft Office System 2007 (KB960003)Update of security for Microsoft Office Excel 2007 (KB959997).I'm at a loss what to try next.FYI, I use Uni-bleu Power Suite 2009, McAfee Total Protection and Ad-Aware Anniversary Edition with Ad-Watch Live on.I tried to do everything that it with Ad-Aware died, but my hunch is that the problem is in Vista ot the updates themselves.I'm quite competent with guests of orders, not to mention manually editing the registry! However, any help would be received with gratitude and I guess that if the instructions are evidence of fool I have very carefully follow step by step.
I have the same symptoms: from a distinct point in time updates of windows works more and every time returned the error code 80070002.
After a few hours, I found the solution: sfc/scannow reported the wuauclt.exe file.
And the reason was: McAfee virusscan put this file in quarantine. He is falsely W32/Generic.worm.aa in there.
Restore this file from the GUI of McAfee completely solved this problem. -

Now you or you already had versions of SQL Server installed on your system of unspecified of brand and model with the unspecified XP version and Service Pack?
If not, it may belong to a third-party application you have installed or it might be some something remains either of something that you have uninstalled before this incident.
If you are not sure whether you need it or not, click Start, run and enter in the box:
services.msc
Click OK to open the Services Applet and locate the assistance of NetLib SQL Service Pack Service, right click, properties and after making a note of the current startup type, set the startup type to "Disabled", reboot, run for a while and see how things work without it.
If you find things that don't work without it running, set the startup type to what it was before and pick up another idea.
Is it your desire, you can also delete the Service completely so that you will never see it again.
