Through an xbox 360 to my laptop
OK, I have a toshiba A135-S4447 model and I want to hook up an xbox 360 through it can be done with the little blue vga port on the left or the S-plug on the left side also or and thing other help would be great see goin im in Iraq and want to make it easy to play
Short answer: without additional hardware, no you can't play your xbox through your laptop. Those are video output devices only.
Workaround solution:
Adaptec makes a product called the adaptec AVC-1400 gamebridge. You can buy this somewhere and maybe play your games on your laptop.

How can I connect my Xbox 360 to my laptop so I can use the screen as a screen? Im trying an hdmi cable, but nothing... Help, please
Very few portable supports HDMI input - most are only a HDMI output, which means that you can not connect an Xbox 360 console and watching on your laptop.
Check the specifications of your laptop to see if it supports a HDMI input.

Problem with the certificate on Xbox 360 system Internet Explorer error
Original title: that is this "problem with certificates?
I have been using Bing on my Xbox 360 Internet Explorer system for years with little trouble. Today, I cleaned the history since he was a little slow again, but now I am unable to connect to Bing (or really any Microsoft site) through the Xbox 360 Internet Explorer. Whenever I try, I keep coming to a screen message saying that there is a problem with the certificate on the site. I am able to log in and connect to these same sites fine on my computer, but I don't have access to my computer all the time, so it was nice to be able to use Bing on my Xbox 360, but now with this error I can't. What is the cause of this, and what can be done to remedy this.
It seems that a recent patch for the application of EI on the Xbox 360 has solved this problem now.

WMP11 & sharing media w / Xbox 360 - does not display settings ' share my media to.
Recently, I tried to connect my Xbox 360 to my laptop PC running Windows XP SP3. All the official how - in fact seem as easy as going to WMP 11, then the 360 was on and connected to the network and will 'Media Sharing' and check the box, "share my media". However, while they were inspecting the area, nothing happens, no detail windows open upwards. All are two buttons, OK and CANCEL. I click OK, all gray outside for a while as the settings are applied, then it returns to the same window sharing media files, no new options, no new parameters. Like nothing happened.
And indeed, nothing has changed.
Gentlemen, what do I do?
AGVKrioni,
Sorry to hear about your difficulties. No fun! If the Xbox 360 don't watch not appear inside WMP 11 as a shared device, then it is possible that WMP 11 does not see the Xbox.
1. the xbox is completely up to date via xbox live?
2. it can also be caused when the Xbox and computer are actually on 2 different networks (despite being connected in the same building). Connect the computer or Xbox Wireless? To check that they are in fact on the same network, obtain the IP address of your Xbox.
-Go to system settings network settings. Note the IP address.
-Go to your computer. See if you can test your XBOX (see on the network). Open the prompt (start, run, "cmd"). Type "ping ipaddresshere ". Do you have an answer?3. check that you have all the latest Windows updates (there may be other updates/patches for network management issues)
4 turn off your Windows Firewall
I hope that these 4 ideas help or someone much more intelligent that I add ideas, because there is nothing else I can offer. I hope that helps! Good luck.

y at - it an application that allows computers to play xbox 360 discs
Xbox 360 consoles can break if they circulate around a lot and they could move around in the back of a car or truck on sharp corners. Vancouver Island has many of them. The worst highway on that I was is 4 between Port Alberni and Ucluelet/Tofino, it seems that there is a sharp corner to each part of the cliff of the road. Wearing just a xbox 360 to a another room can have effects long term on this subject. Game xbox 360 disks on laptops can reduce risk until a portable xbox system is available.
Nope.

gamepad Xbox 360 are not not in Device Manager
Hello. I've been using a controller wired xbox 360 on my laptop with windows vista 32 bit 2 days ago. It worked fine, but then I was playing and all of a sudden it disconnected and my computer no longer recognizes. Sometimes it works after that I restarted my computer, sometimes it won't. I tried many things, as the driver download, remove it and install again in compatibility mode with Windows Service Pack 2, update driver chipset MB, etc. The strangest thing is that when I open the Device Manager, it is supposed to display something called Microsoft Common Controller or Xbox 360 controller, but it is not. It also does not appear when I run joy.cpl. The controller works, so it is not defective. I think it has something to do with the pilot. I'll appreciate any help I can get.

Hi I have a few problems to access the media through the xbox 360 in the import directory.
Installation program:
Xbox 360 connected to the router via wifi
mnh410 connected to the router via cat-5e
Use:
"My Xbox-> picture library-> Mediahub: PVConnect->Folder->computerName->C->Users->userName->Pictures->"No images found.
If I navigate on to the same directory of my computer that I can clearly see that computerName\C\Users\userName\Pictures is filled with pictures.
However, if I try the following:
My Xbox-> picture library-> Mediahub: PVConnect-> Date-> 2008 then pictures see the place as expected.
There seems to be a problem with deeply nested directories and it affects videos, images and music. As an experiment I tried to copy the media to \\mediahub\pictures, \\mediahub\video and \\mediahub\music. The xbox is able to access files in these directories.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
It seems that the Xbox 360 has a limit of five directories that it can display... Once you've spent that it won't work. The same thing for the PS3. It has a limit of 6 directories. In the short term, you will need to manually organize your files in support of the limit. Longer term, we will have to watch how import us your media and what is the most effective way to do it. We also tried other devices of type DMA and had no problems with these.

Windows Media Center, Xbox 360, videos of fast shipping
I was watching videos I saved as WMV files on my TV through my xbox 360. However if you try to advance the video or go directly to part later show that it does so very slowly, how do I get to jump more than 30 seconds or more?
Hello Pegamentoa,
You could try one of the following shortcuts and see if they help.
When viewing videos, you can use your controller to take one of the following shortcuts:
Press on for:
LB - Skip back one chapter.RB - Skip before a chapter.
RT - fast forward or PG. Prev scroll through a list of items.
LT - Rewind, or PG. Prev scroll through a list of items.
START - switch between play and pause. When you browse the videos, automatically start playback using the bookmark (if it exists) and bypassing the restart/RESUME page.
X, Y - Open display on the screen for the more advanced playback controls.
Please let us know if the shortcuts have contributed to improve the speed of the fast attackers.
Sincerely,.
Marilyn
