  Since no direct feedback to Oracle is possible (the form does not), I use this forum for your comments. Feedback is intended for Oracle, but I appreciate any input from the community.
  
  The x 64 version of Java JRE installation gives you all access to settings update via Control Panel-> Java link. However, Setup installs and activates the update of Java without any recognition of the user. In case you do not want to have a background task running periodically check the updates you must manually change the registry to get rid of this process.
  
  It is bad programming and must be changed with the next update.

  Unfortunately, Oracle look here, it is a programming user to user forum. And they decide for themselves what should or should not set (as you may have noticed see how the Java 7 is handled); If you want any type of control that you will need to get a support contract.

  Hey Chick,

  x 86 is often used instead of 32-bit: this is the same thing.

  If you get 64-bit updates, then maybe they refer to the two but you should have gotten the one matching your system.  You may have missed the fact that they apply to both 32-bit and 64-bit - although each requires a different version of the update.

  The two examples of KB were available for x 86 and x 64 versions.  If your system checked and has presented, then it should be adapted to your system.  If still interested, you can always go to the Microsoft Download Center and choose the one that you specifically want and download and install manually.

  I recently updated a whole bunch of things on my T520 and subsequently experienced a significant slowdown in everything - just general startup but also working time. There is often a long latency when opening programs or documents, click right, etc. This framework appears to be due to higher CPU usage. While idling (i.e. just sitting on my desk) and Research Manager tasks, use the processor seems to be higher than normal on some things - SynTPEnh.exe will consume 3 to 8% of CPU, only one instance of svchost.exe will take up to 10%, etc.. My total CPU usage slowed down is usually 15 to 25% today. (I have a quad-core i7). In addition, my battery life has fallen sharply; It used to be more than 5 hours on a full charge when you just browse the web in general and processor, but now it's less than 2 hours.

  Circulating in the Task Manager and Process Explorer, I found a few things that seemed a bit unusual: my process many many page faults - a little less than 15 minutes after starting my computer, SynTPEnh.exe has about 250 000, SimpleTap.exe has more than 50,000, the instance of svchost.exe with the Base filtering engine, Services of diagnosis policy , and Windows Firewall has about 250 000, and Process Explorer itself has about 250 000. There were also a few items that seemed they could take more memory (private bytes, in Process Explorer) they should - dwm.exe use about 150 MB and SimpleTap.exe use about 115 MB. In addition, my percentage of CPU interrupts jumps around, most of the time stay between 2 to 5%.

  I don't know what pieces of it are indeed important, but certainly there was a very strong slowdown since the installation of the updates. I am pleased to provide you with any information that would be useful in dealing with this. Thank you!

  Try to download the free 'autonomy' of the App Store app. It will test your battery and let you know if you have a problem with it. Sometimes the hardware problems with an update, sometimes it's just a coincidence.

  Edit: Factory reset you did a full restore of the system like that? If you've done this from the phone itself, it did install a new copy of iOS.

  I would rather not re - write the old of the IDE I have used for years but rather replace them with the style sheets for xml/html/web. Konqueror is running locally the binary with a launcher script. Firefox, Chrome, re-Konq, WebPositive and IE Explorer will not. If Firefox or SeaMonkey should run my binary that I could easily replace the old of the IDE and myself and my customers save a lot of time and money.

  Firefox does not execute binary files for security reasons. In other words, to prevent novice users to install malicious software.

  updates are different from those upgrades, and I think that there is a problem to upgrade.  Like lkong that you have purchased the upgrade then you should be able to use the serial number of the qualified product (CS5.5) to activate the CS6.
