Thunderbird 45.5.1 - Resize photo accessories?

I used to use Outlook 2003 that allowed me to resize attachments in order to limit the transmission time (usually, I used 640 x 480 pixels as a reasonable compromise); digital camera of today .jpg files are high definition, but massive and take excessive time to transmit and receive at the other end.

Is it possible to resize the photo attachments to an email in Thunderbird?

Since then, I've lost the ability to resize photos.

In the past, I could right-click on an image or group of images in a folder and choose resize from the list.

I used this feature to reduce the size of the photo for display on Web sites.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

Make sure that no programs are running. (IE, OE, etc.).

Copy and paste the command into the start menu | Run:

  • Resize photos to the long side in the size of the Image

I want to use the size of the Image in the Image Menu to resize photos on the longer side (example: 3000 x xxxx).  I know that I can do this in the processor for Image and Photo to adapt, but I want to enjoy the new resample in CC2014, preserve the details.  Is it possible to do it in the size of the Image.   Second question is if this is not possible what method of resampling Image Processor and Photo Fit uses it to resample images to a larger size.

    Thanks for the help.

Check her resample, interpolation together to preserve the details have a width and height link to force the image resize it current aspect ratio, use of the width or the height of the menu drop down click pixel, set the side you want to be 3000 to 3000. Cannot be batch without a small script to set the long side to 3000

Second question is if this is not possible what method of resampling Image Processor and Photo Fit uses it to resample images to a larger size.

The standard image of the processor which is part of the Photoshop Image uses made the adjustment to resize the image always interpolation bicubic user. There is a process of image better second plugin script that you can download from the web once installed you will find in the file menu > Automate > Image Processor Pro.  With Image Processor Pro, you can define which method of interpolation should be user for each resized image used. If the script is better then the standard image processor and works under Photoshop CC X got fed up with Adobe and will support no CC in order to preserve the details cannot be resolved.  It would be possible to add an option if the version of Photoshop using the script supports the details preserved, it can be easy to add to the menu drop down and in the code. As you can choose one of the other methods

The Image Photoshop plugin is being implemented in a Photoshop script written in javascript.   It would be very easy to change your copy of "If Image.jsx" always use preserve detail in CC. The must be changed line is an app.activeDocument.resizeImage '(newWidth, newHeight, resolution, ResampleMethod.BICUBIC);  «Change it will only work if Adobe updated the scripting support cc to preserve detail.»  In Adobe CS6 forgotten update scripts to support BicubicAtomatic fix in the superscription CS6 but not the perpetual CS6.  I also note that preserve the details is not an option to interpolation in Photoshop CC preferences for the interpolation of the image.

  • Resize photos for online use

I have tried all afternoon resize photos for use online and can not follow the instructions.  I know it must be simple, but I am confused.  I would like to talk to a real person, and I'm sure that my problem will be solved in less than five minutes.  Please don't tell me to follow guidelines. I tried.

    Kay Wilhelm

    Hi Kay,

For example, let's say we try to prepare this 1000 x 664 pixels, image 1 MB for display online.

If the site that you post gives you a larger, for example the image must be 600 pixels across, or less, then follow these 4 steps:

    1. go in file-> save for Web

    2. in the file for Web Panel, look for the boxes of the size of the Image.

    3. Enter the desired dimension.  For example, if the Web site that you try to download on requires that the images be 600 pixels across, type 600 in the width box.  The height must recalculate automatically.

    4. press the button "Save".  You now have an image stored in the pixel dimensions required!

If the need is for a maximum file size, rather than the size of a specific file, you would follow a different procedure.  If we tried to resize the same 1000 x 664 pixels, 1 MB image to a size of 100KB or less, we would do the following:

    1. go in file-> save for Web

    2. in the upper right corner of the Save for Web Panel, make sure that the format is set to JPEG.  Our original image was a PNG, which tends to have a larger file.  JPEG images tend to have a reduced file size.

    3. in the file for Web Panel, locate the planned size of the file as it is saved with the current settings.  It is in the lower left corner of the image.  In this case, it is 170KB, which is higher than our maximum size of 100 KB.

    3. the best way to control the size of file to a given pixel size is reducing the quality of the image.  Image quality controls are in the upper right of the Save for Web Panel.  Export JPEG default setting is 60%.

    4. you will need to determine how you want to reduce the image quality in your particular case.  In this example, we can reduce the quality of 60% to 40% without affecting the quality of the image too.  Setting the quality to 40% reduced the size of the image to 99 k, which is below our maximum of 100 KB.

    5. When you are satisfied with the quality settings, press Save to save your image.

    I hope this helps!

  • Is it possible to resize photos in 10 of iOS on iPad 2 Air?

    Hi all

By sending an e-mail with a photo taken with the camera MP before 8 in our new iPad, the photo is average at grand view on the recipient's PC. It would be very useful resize the image in Photo Editor before or in the mail before you send it. Is this possible? If you open another application to change my wife will not use it.

    Thank you

    ~ Ed

Open the camera app then locate the photo then tap the change (three horizontal blue bars) at the bottom of the screen, then tap on the icon of resizing on the left. Resize the photo and then tap the share icon.

  • resize photos

    Hiya

A new user of mac here... just moved in front of the PC after 20 years!

I'm building a website and I need to resize my photos to fit

I am struggling to find the best way to do this on my new mac. There just pictures, no iPhotos

It seems like such a basic requirement, but I'm bad... maybe I'm thick!

    Thank you

    Kevin

Lots of ways to do this, depending on what you mean by "resize".

In general, in Photos, you can adapt the photo export - file-> export, which will reduce the length x width of the picture but include all, or crop and omit the pieces. If you want to reduce the file size, you can also do it when you export by exporting it to a lower Jpeg quality.

You can do all this with an extract also.

Online: If you are using Wordpress, you can resize the image after downloading, or if you are using basic HTML you can also constrain the size of display easily also.

  • How to resize photos for export in the new photo software?

When exporting photos to use for electronic mail, in iphotos, it was very simple resize (reduce quality or size). How I do in the new photo software?

You should be able to use the Help Viewer in the Photos app for information

How to resize or rotate an image. I haven't used an Apple photo app that much

but know the preview application can resize or rotate an image, change the dimensions,

do rotate/return the images, rotate/return several images, reduce the size of image file + change file type.

    • Preview (Yosemite): resize or rotate an image

If Apple's Photo application should be these kinds of tools and the Help Viewer

in the menu bar in the Photos is a place to enter 'resize or rotate an image' or research.

    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Can a batch file I browse a folder and resize photos it finds the installation?

I work with a team of people that come out and take pictures of properties and download to our computer system.

Due to size constraints, we are unable to store everything to its full size.

I would like to install a bat file and deploy an icon on the desktop to give thanks to their record of entry and resize the photos to a standard size.

    Is this possible?

  • Windows "resize image" option box disappeared when we want to resize photos for email

Hi I hope someone can help.  When I click on a photo in "my pictures" on my computer XP the option button 'windows can resize your image' is no longer hits the screen.  I have always had it and use all the time as I am a photographer.  I'm really, really bored, so if anyone can help me to get it back or turn on again, I would really appreciate...

Thus, it is the usual method that I have to send him a smaller photo in an email - click the photo or photos I want to send - right click - to - mail recipient - then the box pop up asking if I want to resize the pictures (I have a choice of small, medium or full size) - after this, a blank e-mail opens with the pictures already in the section attachments - then I just move on as usual to send.

If no box will now appear.  Any help is very appreciated with this.  I feel that my arm was cut as my photo files are much too large to email that they are...

Thanx, Suz PS. As you can tell I'm not really good at the art of things so if you can word answers to "baby talk" that would be great, IE click on this, select that, press OK etc etc.  :)))

    Windows XP...

    Press on... Come in...

You should see a dialog box stating:
DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in successful shimgvw.dll

Now try to send a picture via... Right-click / send to / mail recipient...

  • Resize photos when sending to recipients of mail

When you send photos/images to the recipients of mail directly from windows Explorer that is no longer, asks me if I want to make it smaller or keep the original size, how can I do this task please?

Reach... Start / run... and type

    After the i is necessary)

  • Why 'xi '? and why you can not resize photos with essential software 3.5?

    I have a HP Photosmart 2610xi all-in-one printer, I've had for a while.

In seeking support and online to identify my printer from a drop of water

list down, I see the 2610 and the 2610v.  But no 2610xi.  I've seen

other HP model printers have also included "xi".  Any

particularly important for the v and not the xi?  What does this all mean?

Support email HP says that I can use the software and drivers for the 2610

and that works fine.  The essential software 3.5 is another

topic and I'm not happy with that because you cannot resize

a photo.  If you can I would like to know how.

IIRC, printers with the names of products that had "xi" suffix that him have been sold in Sam's Club and others keep chain stores exclusively. The only difference was that the xi models has a USB cable included in the box, while the normal versions do not include the USB cable. Product features unchanged in all variants of the printer.

On the issue of resizing, just right click on the image and select Edit. Then click on the resizing option, and you should be able to do.

  • Resizing photos for hotmail

I have pictures on the desktop and want to send then via hotmail, but do not know how to resize

Depends on what you have installed on your PC program wise.

For example, to resize an image in Paint - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Resize-a-picture-using-Paint

Other photo editing software will have a feature similar, probably more powerful than the version of paintings.

Or if you have an e-mail program like Windows Live Mail installed, then - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows7/send-pictures-in-e-mail

  • Game like experience resizing photos using IDCS5

    Greetings,

I have print manuals containing black and white pictures which have a limit of 17% 8 pt on the outer edge of the picture, I did this exact configuration even from PageMaker, InDesign was around.

Now I updated to IDCS5 so I can follow along with OS 10 updates and have experienced a seemingly random and varied response with my new version of InDesign, that I grow more confused on how to make what was once so automatic and simple.

In earlier versions of ID that I command only option shift dragged a picture and she accommodated and well everywhere where I wanted so quickly and easily I never even found a nice luxury.

Now with the new version I have trouble with a gamelike riddle to figure out what to do. Sometimes it works fairly, never easy, and other times I can't resize without frame 8 pt leaving space around the photo, even if I use the more clunky system type in a measure rather than swiping.

    Ideas?

    Thank you

    Garrett

    Was she?
