  JavaScript is not any security risk known that have not been resolved in recent versions of Firefox. You are thinking maybe Java, which is full of known security holes and should be turned off, but is not related to the Javascript in any way.

  Sorry, this isn't a question, but a suggestion. If a conflict exists between the modules, it would be useful to know that it has been updated recently. I often keep track of myself, but it would be easier to have this information on the page Add on.

  I'm running a full system scan in ESM right now, and it has detected multiple instances of sirefef.   I have remove as they pop up, but I'm afraid that when I run another scan they all will always be there.  Is there a way to know if MSE is actually remove them and he cleaning?  If not, should I do a back up and reinstall the OS?

  Sirefef is a rootkit and yes he can hide in your system.  This is why it has been suggested that you may need to reformat/reinstall.  In fact, it's the only way to eliminate malware.  Multiple scans with several scanners and no conclusion malware probably indicate he disappeared, but the key word is "probably".  Malwarebytes is good and what he finds now may be traces of the infection, but what he finds perhaps not active more - it is always good to run the scans so.

  What spare drive did you run?  What scanners did you use?  See again you and follow the guide "Malwaretips"?

  Uninstall/reinstall of MSE is how?  All the problems?  Have you tested MSE with eicar to be sure it's working?

  Assume that you have not had an opportunity to review the MSE Installation Checklist or you would have noted that MSE and Windows Defender cannot be used on the same computer.  So if WD works in fact it means MSE has been disabled/not not work correctly or not installed.

  BearShare default installs a lot of other rubbish - and changes your research assistants.

  Download and install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (www.malwarebytes.org - free version) - update but do NOT enable the trial of real-time protection. Run a full scan of the system.

   

  When done, delete everything it finds. Open Internet Options and change your home page you what you want, and then in the tab programs, click on Manage Add-ons - change research you favorite.

  has my desktop Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard - Version 7.1.0 (23/04/08 04:22) installed. I am trying to upgrade and received a download link for the older versions of Adobe Acrobat: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1 & platform = Macintosh.

  I was told to download the Version 7.1.1. After I did it I had a window with a folder of files into it. I clicked the folder icon and got the Adobe Patch icon. I clicked once again and got a window with some of my apps listed. This window has had a message "Select the copy of Acrobat 7.0 Standard update." There was only one illustrates copy (I have only one copy in the Applications), and it was already pointed out in blue. I clicked on the button choose, but then got the message "an invalid application has been selected."

  It has been suggested that I have download the Version 7.1. I thought that Version 7.1.0 was what is meant so I downloaded that, but after completing the steps above, got the same message of invalid application. So I decided that the 7.0.1 Version should be the initial download must be installed, but I still get the message of invalid application.

  I try to install a proper way? All downloads are upgraded Standard - several languages.

  What the exact version you number or better yet do a screenshot of this window and Post so someone can decide the next course of action.

  To "restart" the computer means turn off and turn back on. Surely you
  don't want that. You probably want to reinstall Windows. No, you
