  The Raid Controller will have more impact than the discs. No Caviar no Blacks however because of the WD TLER 'feature', which makes them unsuitable for parity raid configurations. Go for the expensive version of RE4 or opt for the more affordable Samsung F3. Velociraptors seem exaggerated. Number of disks in the array is more important than RPM.

  SLI is not supported in anyway, but in order to know if it creates problems, well, try it and you know. It seems not, however expensive. Simple, it is no advantage at all of several video cards with CS5.

  To be honest, I don t think that sleep & service or this service would affect the features of webcam.
  TOSHIBA sleep utility allows you to charge USB devices such as a cell phone with the computer in standby mode or even stop mode. This is why there should be no link between this function and webcam

  I can't say with certainty what's going wrong with your internal webcam but the fact is that in many cases the webcam and sleep function & load could be turned on and off in the BIOS.

  In my opinion, you should perform a few checks.
  First set the default BIOS settings (load default by pressing F9) and check if the webcam is enabled in the BIOS.

  Second if you think that there is still a link between sleep and charge function and the webcam, then disable the sleep and the load in the BIOS, just to check if it will make a difference.
