Thunker spooler APIs from 32 to 64 process has stopped working

When I print or send an email from Quickbooks I get this error and it closes my program.  He I restart my program a few times it ends up email or print.  In addition, it happens in other programs sometimes printing Internet Explore.  I have Windows Vista.

All of the suggestions.

    I just had the same problem a couple of days.  After uninstalling my printer drivers and reinstall, I always had the same problem.  I tried a few suggestions on these posts, but still nothing.  When I opened my printers in the Control Panel, I found three other printers listed two for quicken and Microsoft office, I deleted these (but not my original HP inkjet printer) and it worked. Hope this helps someone else.

    The error message appeared several times including in QuickBooks where it only allows me to send an invoice and in Outlook where it prevents me from printing.  When you print, it says that the printer does not work even though I can print a test page.

    Method 1:

    You can perform a scan of the SFC (System File Checker). It lists all the issues and will also retrieve all files if necessary. Follow the steps below to perform a Scan SFC -

    a. click Start, click programs, on Accessoriesprincipally made, right click guestand then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow
    b. type the following command and press ENTER:
    sfc/scannow
    A message appears indicating that "the system scan will start. Be patient because the scan can take some time.
    c. If all files require a SFC replace will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Win7 DVD for this process to continue.
    d. If everything is correct you should, after the scan, see the following message "resource protection Windows not found any breach of integrity".
    e. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

  • Windows Service host process has stopped working... online and are looking for a solution

    I have a Lenove with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit of the system.  Yesterday I got stuck in a loop while looking for a dog boarding on Google.  I had to do a system shutdown to break out of the loop.  Since then, I get the message: «Host process for Windows services has stopped working...» "Also, I heard the music or script play twice since then and did a reboot to get rid of the problem.  I don't know that it will continue if I do not resolve what has caused the problem initially.  Also, I went into the control panel one checked all the sound icons and they are all OK.

    I'd appreciate if someone could give me some instructions on how to solve these problems.  Thank you!!

    I have found the answer.  The default on my printer changed to a pdf converter that was part of the installation of QuickBooks to my insue.  At that time I started, it became the thunking error.

    I went into the Control Panel Printers and restore the default value for my regular printer.  This has worked for Word 2007, but not for Outlook.  So I went in QuickBooks and configure the default printer it for my printer.  Then all the others program default printer pointing to the correct printer.

    Not sure if it will work for someone else.  I never got the hotfix password to work, nor nobody responded to my request again.

    I wanted to share this with everyone.  This might work for you too.

    How long did you receive these error messages?   Did you change your operating system before thses errors?  All new software/hardware installed or new Windows updates?

    It seems that a dll is missing. You can fix it easily if you have a vista bootable disk.  Just boot from the disk and click on repair your computer and then click on start option repair and it will do the rest.

    or, if the problem is not resolved, then insert the vista dvd and then open the command prompt as administrator, and then run the following command...

    C:\sfc scannow

    and then press ENTER.
