• Copy of 7520 HP problem

  I have the HP7520 All In One.  I am able to print from the computer without any problem.  I can also scan without problem to the computer (documents and photos).  But I can't copy.  When I try to copy a document or a picture, I get only a blank page with no ink at all.  Just a blank sheet of paper.  Since I can scan to the computer without a problem, I know that the light does not work, and since I can print the computer without problem, I know that the ink is good.

  I tied to copy black only and then color.  Whenever I get only a blank sheet of paper.

  Need help with this problem.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you are not able to copy with your HP Photosmart 7520, when you try to make a color or black copy only a blank page is generated. You are able to print and scan to the computer without any problem.

  First of all, I would like to allows you to perform a hard reset:

  1. disconnect all cables and cards of memory in the printer. Unplug the power cord, directly from the back of the printer when the printer is still on.

  2. unplug the other end of the power cord.

  3. If there is a power supply on the power cord, disconnect one end and reconnect it.

  4. at the end of 60 seconds, plug it directly into a wall outlet, (not a surge protector or battery backup because they can cause the printer to lose over time basic functionality).

  5. connect the power cord to the back of the printer.

  6. the printer should automatically power back upward. If not, turn it on with the power button.

  7. try to make a photocopy (if your printer is a printer all in one) before you connect the cables from the printer.

  8. connect the other cables needed to the printer.

• Photosmart 7520 copy/fax problem

  Hello. I have a photosmart AIO nine 7520 which, so far, works very well. It suddenly stopped doing the 'sound' when I load paper into the feeder at top of the page to make a copy or send a fax. It is used to operate a Bell to let me know that it detects im paper loading. And that's not all. When I send a 1 or a fax of 2 pages or try to make a copy of page 1 or 2, once the second page is going through, the Manger continues to turn and make a noise loud enough as it is trying to feed another piece of paper that is not there... and the error comes "original weakest error". Ive tried all the FAQ told me to do and it still does not work. In fact, I got the chimes to come back earlier today for a bit, but it was always do the same thing. try to take more of paper that is not there and that the error. This has never happened before, I have not changed the settings, please help, thank you.

• Photosmart 7520 fax problems, how to send multiple pages through this fax printer all in one

  New to wireless, fax, copier, scanner 7520 printer.  3310 previously.  No problem sending faxes with this one.  Have problems with the shipment of several pages on the 7520.  Can someone give me a step by step process.  Suspect I need to use the Document bin vs sdanner screen, but do not know how to proceed and unlike 3310 no guide printed to show how to do this.  Help!  Please, I beg you!

• HP Officejet 8600 scanning/copying problem

  I have a 8600 all-in-one who recently stopped being able to scan or copy.  When you run a scan/copy, the page just comes out with vertical lines and black space.  I added a screenshot of the results of the analysis, but a copy gives the same.  Please help if you have seen this before.  I perform firmware updates and gone through the process of resetting due to disconnect.

  

  Rob, sounds like you are having a problem with your analysis. To open, what happens when you make a copy? That will let me know if this problem is hardware related or associated software. Then I know who will be the best way to proceed.

• HP Officejet Pro 8600 more on glass copy problem

  When I try to copy on glass, the bar scanner does not move to the far right edge so it cut about 3 inches from the top of the copied document. Scan from document feeding and sending items to be printed work very well.

  I understand that you are having problems to copy.  I would try to help!

  What size of paper do you use?

  I recommend you to perform a power reset the printer.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

  Also, try to plug the power to the printer into a different wall outlet.

  I suggest you then update the firmware of the printer:

• scanning and copying problem

  Hi all

  I have an officejet pro 8600. He developed a failure when scanning and copying only. It prints very well. When scanning/copying in black and white I get only a series of black lines vertical, probably 100 or more, arranged like a bar code. When you use the color I get 3 or 4 vertical lines in cyan. I do not hear from the current page scanned/copied. I suspect the scanner itself is faulty, but any help would be received with gratitude.

  Sorry to hear you have a problem with lines on your Scan and copy.  I got it exactly the same problem with this printer very and I could solve the problem by making a simple step. Now, this will sound a bit crazy and I hope you are open minded.  Plug the power cable directly into a wall... pretty crazy huh?  HP printers have already built in surge protector, and if you have connected it to a power supply/Strip bar, the printer will get all the power it needs to function properly. You are probably currently you are yourself, "Ive always had this printer connected to a strip/Bar and have never had any problems.  Well, let me tell you that you probably had issues with the printer that only they were issues that you would not notice.  Brightness, the screen feel slower, a little more time to get out of the way 'sleep'... that are just a few things that could took place in the Strip bar.  Just so you know I'm not send you smoke signals, this is a document that shows all the questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.  Now, if this does not resolve your problem, I need for you to let me know so that I can give you other possible fixes for this issue.

• E5 - 772 disc copy problem

  Hi all:

  I have a problem that suddenly appeared last week. I can no longer copy DVDs on an ISO file using my internal or external burners. I had just earn 8.1 at the time where this has occurred first, now I also earn 10 put in place on a dual boot, and I do not installed driver or firmware updates before that happened. I ran a scan sfc of the side 8.1 and 2 or 3 errors could not be repaired. The strange thing is when I tried to create an ISO file win 10, the operation failed there as well. For the software, I use BurnAware Free and I did about 10-15 ISO without any problems before this files. I tried to find a decent free ISO creator to Midway to check error, but they are quite hard to find. Another thing, I also had bad to burn copies as well. Do 3 or 4 coasters before I gave up.

• 7520 fax problems

  We have a photosmart 7520 we have problems with faxes. The printer is on a line of fax dedicated using the supplied cable. When the unit goes into mode 'sleep' we lose all ability to fax or receive faxes. The only way we can get back to the top is to turn the printer off and back on manually. It is totally unacceptable that we are unable to receive incoming faxes.

  Is it possible to totally cut the standby or low power mode?

  Please try now as follows to disable mode 'sleep' (this is taken from another post in the support forums):

  Left and right of the screen are a House (upper-left) and back (bottom left), Cancel buttons (lower-right, that there is an X).  You may need to use a flashlight to see them because probably they are not lit.  Key to the House of the sequence, return, cancel, retrun.  This should bring up the menu engineering.  In this menu select Menu Underware.  You will see a display similar to the arrows for a TV remote control (up, left, right, down, arrows with an OK button in the middle).

  Use the arrow key to the right and go into the system menu (the menu names are displayed in the upper left corner).  Press OK

  Use the arrow key to the left and go to the system mode timeout.  Press OK

  Use the down arrow key to set the timeout to 0.  Press OK.

  Exit by pushing cancel (bright red x in the lower right corner) until you have returned to the home screen.

• HP Envy 4500 All in one printe: copy problems HP Envy 4500

  The printer works well, but I can't do on my envy of 4500 copies.  When I press the 'Start copy black' or 'Start copy color' nothing happens.  I just replaced two cartridges with HP ink cartridges.  The scanner doesn't work well anymore.

• Copy problems

  I have a HP LaserJet M1319f MFP.  The printer seems to work correctly when printing from Word, etc.  The problem is to copy.  One side of the paper off is lighter than the other.  Is it a problem that I can fix it?  Like new light scanner?  Or what please?

• HP Photosmart 7520 network problems

  I tried to install recently the photosmart 7520 on the network at my place of business. It seems to connect to the wireless network, however, only computers on the network share, who can see this printer are those who are connected to the network via an ethernet cable. If the computers are connected to the wireless network, they do not see the printer, nor can they ping the printer with an error of "destination: hostunreachable. Everyone knows this error? This is probably a router configuration, but do they know that we, or how to fix it?

  The problem you are experiencing is Ethernet and wireless. The printer will not be able to connect with BOTH at the same time. The printer and computer that you are trying to print from, must be on the SAME NETWORK. If you are connected to Ethernet, the other must be.

  You can print wireless, USB, or Ethernet and USB. It will not be able to print wireless AND Ethernet.

  Today, I buy a HP 7520 to use with my iMac with OSX 10.8.2.

  The problem is the parser should use WiFi: my iMac can't see it. I used the driver downloaded from the HP website (not the CD in the package of the printer/Scanner), but it can only add me the printer (in fact, the printer works perfectly).

  I lost several hours to find out where is the problem, but I need help.

  Last thing: in Windows 7 (installed with Parallels) everything works perfectly wireless (printer and scanner).

  Solved: thans for the troubleshooting of HP! The problem is the Belkin N300 router: I have disabled ICMP Protection and now Hello Service work, and when I add the printer, I can see it. Now everything works in WIFI.

• 9800 tilt - screen drawing problem?

  I did a screen with custom graphics, it works perfectly normal up-side-face upward, however when I tilt the Simulator or even a real device to the left or right screen becomes white and no fields or graphics on the screen are displayed.

  Interestingly, if I start the app when the Simulator is already left-coast-to the top then the screen is however as soon as I drew with the fields etc., tili unit right-side-up top, the same thing once again, a white screen. If I restart the device in the top left-side-up mode and tilt in top-side-to the top of the screen works in the high-side-to the top, but after the back passage to left-side-to top (the State that the application started first) again a white screen.

  Does anyone else has met?

  You don't need to invalidate - the system redraws after a re-layout anyway.

  What to use as values for width and height - only maxWidth and maxHeight spent in your sublayout are correct. getPreferredWidth and getPreferredHeight are still useless. getWidth() and getHeight() return the previous values, since you have not called setExtent with new values yet. Same problem with getVisibleWidth / getVisibleHeight. Oh and by the way, you cannot use correctly titleField.getHeight () at this point as well.

  However, the irony is that you don't need all these shenanigans in your program. Instead of making your first the 'title' field, don't add it to the screen at all and just use setBanner / setTitle on it. You will be able to abandon this override of sublayout in total.

  Oops - just found another problematic piece of code: why any who call the super.paint inside paintBackground? Drop this last line, and you'll be much better off. It could well be the root of your problem.

  Also - for efficiency, not to generate your image Bitmap every time by the paintBackground - do once in the constructor and use it whenever you need.
