• Capture camera IMAQ via DAQmx trigger operation

  I thought I could re - this poster in this forum to see if I get more ideas!

  I work with a PCIe-1427 card connected by link to a camera (SUI Goodrich) and also using a card PCI-6731 to which I attached a connection block M SCC-68 series.

  I managed to write code to control the .avi capture the camera and write separate code to control the lighting of optical switch connected to the SCC-68.

  The two lines of the optical switch Relay different info and I will in turn present this information to the camera for analysis.  Ideally, I'd like to trigger the acquisition of the capture of the camera with the optical switching so that each image contains information of a single channel only, but I still fell in the integration of the operation of DAQmx meter with IMAQ camera code.

  Is this possible?  I see 1 previous post by using a RTSI cable can I connect the two devices together (or alternatively use the DAQmx to produce a trigger on the digital).  Can someone offer information or an example on how to route signals via the RTSI to IMAQ DAQmx?  Also do I tuned regarding the generation of pulses to the switch that allows signals to pass through RTSI?

  I find it by running my camera and counter code in vi even both will work (not in sync)-if I connect the RTSI and select the camera settings to accept the RTSI triggers, if it was a simple solution?

  I would greatly appreciate any ideas you may have. my time runs out very quickly and is really distressing.

  If I understand what you try to do in VI you attached, you want the output of the counter of the task DAQ to serve the trig by buffer task it IMAQ via RTSI.

  To do this, use the property node of channel DAQmx to configure the output terminal of the impulse to be RTSI 0:

  Select property > counter output > Pulse > output terminal

  B. change the node property to write.

  C. create a constant and select/Dev1/RTSI0

  On your IMAQ configure Trigger VI, RTSI value as type, set to 0 the number of line, set the action to trigger each buffer and set the polarity to rising edge.

  Oh yes, make sure to connect the RTSI cable for two cards.  I forgot that before and felt really stupid later.

• photos out of sequence in LR 6. I think the reason is b/c I forgot to program time in the new camera. Help!

  This never happened with my previous camera and the previous version of LR.  I recently updated my camera, as well as LR (from PC version 2 for PC version 6).  I just took over a thousand photos at a wedding and once they import into LR they are out of sequence. I tried to arrange time to sort of control/capture, etc., but without success.  It wasn't until I looked at the right column in library mode that I noticed pictures all say the same date and time (year 2000, 12:00 time).  I then realized that I had forgotten to schedule the date and time when I bought my camera. He is the only thing that I can find.  And I really hope there is a way to fix.  Edition will be a TOTAL nightmare if not.   Please, someone help.  Thank you very much in advance...

  In your first post, you said ALL of them have EVEN enter the date and the hour of 12:00 2000.   If this is the capture time saved that with a TIME EDIT CAPTURE will not help your problem at all.  Change changes just at the time of capture the time and date of each photo, of a fixed amount and from your pictures have the same original capture times they will have identical adjusted capture time.  Sort by FILE NAME must have worked unless you did a name change when importing.  If this is the case you are out of luck unless you still have the original files on the card from the camera.

• Capture camera mini DVD?

  I have a client with a dvd of the mini of Panasonic and Sony cameras.  I was able to copy the images and rename the .vob to .mpg and edit files, no problems.  About 15 of the 50 disks have problems.  I'm racking my brain on workarounds to capture images.  Some of the discs will play on the cameras they record to.  I tried to take the records directly to my computer from the camera to a stand-alone dvd recorder with a bit of luck.  Is it possible to capture video via camcorder using the USB on my computer?  Would this work if I had a drop cable and used the av cables into my computer with first?  Other creative ideas?  I think this media is a bit dodgy and happy it seems to be obsolete.

At most, I capture maybe 5 empty frames. Learn to juggle and be ambidextrous! After a bit of capture in this way, I can almost drink a coffee with my left hand.

• Change the time of the Capture of several Photos

  I had the wrong date on a shooting over 200 photos, and I'm trying to fix the date.  I can do this one at a time, but the option "replace all" does not exist in stand-alone LR 6.  Change button does not change the dates.  Save metadata by train does not either, nor does not synchronize.  Is it possible to change the date of capture on all these files at the same time?

  Oops!  Just thought it had to be in the library grid view and select in the main panel, instead of simply by selecting on the bottom bar.  Think this would work.

• Complex issue of multi-camera editing

  I have a question of several camera.

  I have the following clips:

  1 video clip continues with audio

  24 with audio video clips taken at different times (from different angles and close ups) catches throughout continuous clip

  4-track mono mic that extend over the entire period (4 different microphones placed at various locations in the room)-they are defined as mono in the settings of the element.

  1 stereo audio clip which extends over the entire period of audio recorder separate

  When I create sequence multi-cam, audio-based, it does not complain and creates the element multi-cam.  However, when I put in a sequence, I have 26 audio tracks. Many of them are empty.  I have no audio at the beginning, although I see the video game.  The audio tracks I see seem to be all stereo, with his fate only one side.

  Is there any special way working to combine the sequence above in a multi-came track, where I can change camera angles that I prefer and then mix the audio based on who speak - IE spend an audio 7 sources and sometimes to mix some of them at different levels?

  Most of the videos I've seen does not appear to cover this level of complexity of clip, so really doesn't help.

  Any suggestions gratefully received!

  What I do is manually synchronize everything in a sequence, then alt - select the video (and not audio), then right-click and embed the video tracks. Then right-click on this nested track and choose Activate/multi-cam. Now I can make multicamera on photo editing, and audio tracks are intact. I mix and remix audio to my heart's content.

  There are 2 drawbacks to this method, but for me they are tolerable. 1, you must get the synchronization just before you nest, otherwise it's a mess. 2, by balancing the sequence, you have to be sure to cut all the audio tracks at the same time to maintain synchronization.

  You can mark a word or a sequence of words such as 'White' by selecting the word by clicking on "Mark Blank" in the Panel properties of Quiz (CP8 CP9).

  The Word Gets a dotted underline. Click on the word and the HUD is displayed with the word typed as the first entry. Use the sign to access more opportunities for input from the user (all correct) or select from the drop-down list and check in this case the possible correct answers, +. I think it is wise to have mixed responses as well for this second scenario.

  Click outside the HUD to close. Select the next word and repeat the whole process. Take a look at this screenshot (for a second scenario with drop-down list):

  

• Issue of multi-Cam

  I have been using CC body for about 6 months now, from 5.5.  I do my first edition when I use a nested sequence and the multicam monitor.  In previous versions of the body, I implemented the project of multi camera, I'll play the video in multiple camera monitor, and I click on all cameras changes are saved to the timeline, when I stop.  When I came home to the sections where I knew that I wouldn't cut back so I would just rub on the timeline (not multiple camera monitor) and when I got to a place where I wanted to spend the cameras I would simply click on this camera in multiple camera monitor.  In CC Assembly works fine if I me playind video in multiple camera monitor and clicking on my devices, but I can't make it work by srubbing just video where I want and then clicking on a camera.  I tried to turn on the button recorde and who does not make a difference.  Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?
