  Our team recently discussed when use the containment relationships, and we realized that there is room for improvement of our understanding. After reading a lot of the help topics, the main use for the containment relationship seems to be the ability to determine whether an entity is completed. However, as far as we can tell, in our work we yet had a need for the notion of entity-completeness (if we have, it was without the knowledge). Instead, using a containment structure in a data model often seems to complicate things by distancing the Global entities (making it thus seem more difficult to reason multiple instances).
  
  My best guess, aside from completeness, is that containment relationships are necessary during the mapping of a database structure (for example, Siebel). For example, a template like:
  
  Global
  -the invoice
  -the line item
  
  .. interface could more properly with the external data compared to a 'flatter' structures structure such as:
  
  Global
  -the invoice
  -the line item
  
  .. .or a relationship (not deducted, not contained) "regular" would be required to connect to their lines of billing invoices. In the latter scenario, the relationship would be perhaps more difficult to determine when data have been mapped on?
  
  I have a feeling that we might miss something obvious, but I'm curious to know what this community thinks about this matter. Can anyone help, perhaps by providing a list of the advantages / disadvantages of confinement, or perhaps situations in which containment is still necessary?

  I have built many rulebases to demo for integration, usually with Siebel so I'll use it as my example. What I learned from this, it's that the integration will be easier if the logical structure of the entities/containment OPA relationships match the logical structure of the Siebel business components.

  For example, if in Siebel, you have something that represents Global (which I will refer a case for this example), and you also several logically below the case business components, for example

  A case can have multiple Contacts
  Each Contact can have multiple incomes
  Each Contact can have several resources
  Each Contact can have several expenses

  I would put in place the following entities/containment relations in OPA:

  Global--> one - to-many--> the household member
  the Member of the household--> one - to-many--> the household income of the participant
  the Member of the household--> one - to-many--> resources of the Member of the household
  the Member of the household--> one - to-many--> cost of the Member of the household

  Note This Contact (Siebel) is the Member of the household (OPA). I could use 'contact' in the OPA, but I prefer to use a name friendly plus-utilisateur of business such as "member of the household" - if they are members of a household in effect, it could also be the person, the taxpayer, etc. or anything that is appropriate for the original material.

  I guess that this general principle applies even if integration is with something other than Siebel.

• Tips for the custom transformation script change the Associations of FK table

  I try to write a transformation script that will scroll through tables in a large model and change some
  FK associations to change the remote table at CF. By the way, the reason is that our logic model
  the logical entities that represent many areas of codes of small research. However, our relational and physical model has a
  utility single physical filing table of codes that contains all areas of these codes. Therefore, a part of the transformation
  our logic model for the relational model is to swing all FK associations for these areas of research codes
  in the table of common code. Then the paintings representing the research areas can be removed from hard.
  
  In any case, I'm looking at the
  
  oracle.dbtools.crest.model.design.relational.FKIndexAssociation
  
  or the
  
  oracle.dbtools.crest.model.design.relational.Index
  
  to see if one of them can be manipulated to perform the transformation I want to accomplish.
  
  When I perform the equivalent process manually via the property sheets there are several ways to address this problem.
  
  (a) the method more jolise seems to change the FK in place by clicking on the FK in the relational schema and changing
  the property called ' PK / UK Index'. Change that to the pharmacokinetics of utility code repository table that replaces the original
  table (which represents the research field). A side effect of this translates into CF mapping
  columns being nulled out. They must be remapped to original columns (which are kept).
  So in two stages, the existing FK is detached from the original, attached table to the new table, and then
  FK columns are reused in place for new CF mapping.
  
  (b) the brute force method is to remove the original FK and then create a completely new FK to the new table. There are
  several dialog boxes that allow you to keep the original FK columns and use them in the new FK.
  
  I realize, this is a somewhat complex transformation, but I would like a few algorithmic advice on which path to take
  to try to achieve. In particular, there is a script that is equivalent to that of the first process above?
  
  I don't even know if the CF which is represented on the relational schema is represented by the FKIndexAssociation or Index
  class in the script object model. In other words, I have to loop through the tables in the relational model what would be my
  starting point:
  
  FKS = table.getFKAssociationsList ();
  
  or
  
  fkIndexes = table.getAllInds_FKeyInds ();
  
  or something else. The names of the properties in the user interface are always with the properties of scripts not so
  It's a little difficult to understand such things.
  
  Once I have access to the object that is equivalent to the FK in the property/diagram worksheet, which
  is the best way to handle via script. How can I change the end of parent and away from CF to point to the new table.
  Or if I have to delete the original CF and then re-create - is there a way to save the original FK columns and reuse them
  While creating the new FK?

  Is a pair of two - FKIndexAssociation, that's what you see the pattern, but it is hidden in the table index - isFK() returns true for this type of index and you can take FK with getFKAssociation()

  You can get to them from the relational model:
  model.getFKIndexAssociationSet () .toArray () - FK all model

  There should be no problem if you use the same number of columns with the same data type and order:

  get the current FK columns
  columns = fk.getColumns ();
  newRefKey is the new key question; referred and child columns must match the data type and the order in the keys - you do not ask how to get
  fk.changeKeyObject (newRefKey, columns);

  function setting in preferences, you will get the question on the columns of FK.

  Therefore, a part of the transformation
  our logic model for the relational model is to swing all FK associations for these areas of research codes
  in the table of common code. Then the paintings representing the research areas can be removed from hard.

  You can create the hierarchy of entities with the root attribute (and PK identifier) KP holding entity and entity - your look-up - empty child relationships will be these entities of the child. With the help of the transformation of the "unique Table" you will get what you are trying to achieve now with script.

  Hi, according to the toshiba site there is a new update of the BIOS for my laptop.
  I was wondering is it worth the update, unfortunately, there is no information
  provided regarding the bugfixes or improvements? Also can I use the
  Windows update tool or use the bootable CD, it's just I'm not sure
  flashing Windows XP, except if it is a procedure without normal fault?

  Richard you have some problems with this device? If everything works properly I don't see a reason any BIOS update.

  If you think that the update of the BIOS is necessary, you can try Windows based Bios update but please check the first Description of the Toshiba BIOS update before you continue.

  As much as I know, that you cannot order parts for laptop direct from Toshiba.

  You can do this in some independent electronic store, perhaps by approved maintainer Toshiba or on eBay. I recommend you check out eBay. Here you can find many hardware components for various Toshiba laptops.
  With a little luck you can find mainboard for your model of laptop also.

  CNET is infamous for the grouping of things in its downloads as much a / v programs report as junk (I went through the same thing using eSet NOD32 has / v).  I seem to remember that if you ignore the warning and download the exe file and then use a tool like the free 7-zip to extract only the file necessary to run the program you want, you can work around the problem.

  Ive took my Equium A60-181 for quite a while now and its been fairly reliable, sound always connected via WiFi to my home network.

  Very recently, however, the icon in the tray system for network connectivity was incorrect. He said always I am not connected to the network... but I am, because the internet works and I can still access the network drive that is located on another computer on the network and network printers.

  Why is the system status bar tells me that I am not connected to the network when I am?

  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  I presume that you have assigned the LAN TCP/IP address and gateway manually parameters and these parameters are not set to automatic. Am I wrong?

  The same message appeared to me. I connected my laptop to the other PC and changed the TCP/IP address settings.
  It was the reason of this message in the taskbar.

  All simply set it to auto again and you will get rid of this annoying message.

• Problem of graphics ATi Radeon Equim A60-181.

  I have a new laptop Equim and the Sims 2 has an intermittent problem when the game freeze sense I have to turn off the laptop and turn it on again. Windows load and everything's fine until the next time I play. However, sometimes, I receive an error message that says ati2dvag.dll failed. The game will exit and return to Windows but clocked at minimum resolution to low colors. A reboot solves the graphics.

  Either may occur at any point in the game. The cell phone is a new model of Toshiba Equim A60-181, the graphics chip is an ATi Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP (64 MB shared). There is no new update for the ATi card, according to the website of Toshiba s; the there is the same version number. I was told that I should use the supplied Toshiba driver and not the ATi site because the portable versions are often customized. That's what I tried:

  -J' used an ATi removal utility to remove the driver and re - install the same version on the Web. No difference.

  -It's not too selfish of applications running in the background when you play.

  -Run the game in windowed mode, with no noise (by adding switches to the shortcut). The game didn't freeze during this operation, but did display the ati2dvag.dll resulting in an output error. Happen when changing to a different Sim s House. I put t know if its a coincidence.

  After reading around the error is not uncommon, but the 'right' solution is very difficult to locate. I'm a reasonably competent user and have solved the problems of driver/software before, but I'm out of ideas. Can anyone suggest something fresh? I am brave enough to try anything with instructions! I hope that the post is clear, if it's not ask and I will clarify. Any advice is welcome because I am now desperate to get my new laptop to play my favorite game.

  In my view, this case is clear. It s a simple overheating. Usually the laptop stops automatically to prevent laptop damage material. Usually, this occurs if the laptop fans twist with speed and maximum performance.

  The reason for this behavior could be a dust and debris inside the laptop. Especially after 2 years of work and aspiration, the dust has a bad influence on the rotation of the fan.

  The module of cooling for computer laptop cleaning could help!
  But if you have no experience of it please contact the technician. It is recommended to clean the fans professionally.

• Equium A60-181 (PSA67E) - cannot find the display driver

  Due to problems with some games I did experiments with other ATI drivers for my laptop.
  It turns out that their support for Open GL is scandalously broken so I tried rolling back the drivers.
  Unfortunately Windows doesn't let me do it because I need the original driver files so tried to download on the Toshiba support page.
  Well although it seems that the Equium A60 - 181 aka PSA67E does not appear as a product more also any attempt to seek A60-181 or PSA67E displays empty hits Unlike Google or Msn.

  What happens here? Please tell me Toshiba did not hold for this laptop isn't exactly new or old it is still worthy of driver / BIOS update support especially when needed.
