  I'm having a problem of replacement of a title of axis of graph with the substitution syntax &. P5_MYFIELD, where P5_MYFIELD is an element whose body of PL/SQL by Type of Source function:

  The element is set to the same Page as the graphic in a different region. I see that feature works well, because the return value is displayed in P5_MYFIELD.
  There is a second point in another region on the same page where the source value is set with the substitution syntax & P5_MYFIELD. It also displays the expected value. But when I use the string & P5_MYFIELD. as the title of the axis, it is not displayed.
  
  I also defined a P0_MYFIELD field on the zero of the Page with the same function, when I reference that with & P0_MYFIELD. as the title of the axis at Page 5, the value appears correctly. I tried the same thing with a field on the Page 1, & P1_MYFIELD. and it appears correctly.
  
  In my view, the chart axis title must be replaced before that the P5_MYFIELD element is the execution of the body of the PL/SQL function to get its value. Can someone tell me why?
  
  We want to use the syntax of string substitution to translate all our labels in different languages. I would like to create hidden objects with type body of the PL/SQL function for all the labels on a page of the source and refer to these values as the label definitions. I would like to place them on the same page as the labels.

  The fundamental thing is that the P5_MYFIELD must be filled before the real graphics area where you want to reference.

  So the best way would be to move the element source (body of the PL/SQL function) to a calculation with calculation point before the header

• Import Photos with Image Capture

  Hi people, I do not know if I am posting this in the right forum. If this isn't the case, feel free to have moved him.

  I have a Mac and a PC but I use the PC for my main photo library. When I import pictures from my iPhone to the PC using the Import Wizard, Windows 10 maintains a cache to remember photos that have been previously imported so that they don't re - import. I can post the path to the cache but it is useless, the cache is a file system, called "PreviouslyAcquired.db".  If I remove photos from my PC which have been imported and you want then re - import, I have to reset this cache (delete) so that the photos to import again. Otherwise the photos already imported are ignored and only new ones appear on the Import Wizard.

  The reason for this post is that I wonder if OS X (Photos or Image Capture) retains the same type of cache. I also wonder if this is the reason why the OP on the wire above cannot re - import the photos that have been restored from their old iPhone.

  So my questions are:

  (1) with OS X Image Capture, can a photo to reimport previously imported?

  (2) no OS X maintains a similar to Windows cache and if so where is it and how it is reset? I looked on my MBP 10.11.5 but nothing helped. It is obviously not the iPod Photo Cache - that one is associated with iTunes synchronizes only. I also started the Image Capture, but cannot see any parameter for this purpose.

  (3) I.C. will give me the opportunity to re - import if it imported the same before pictures? I could make an experience, but the bright minds here probably know the answers.

  I have found no Apple documentation on it, but when I use the Image Capture to import from a camera or card in a folder in the Finder, I can import the same items over and over again. There is no control for imports carried out previously.

  Only when I import using a photo app that maintenance photo library (Photos, iPhoto, Aperture) pictures will be checked for duplicates when importing.  But even with Photos, iPhoto, Aperture can I restore deleted photos by import since the device again, if I removed them from the library.

  If your workflow allows it, use my photo stream to sync your iPhone to your computer. Seems to work more reliably than the manual method.

  I have a Canon Pixma 5320 printer who has worked with Image Capture under OS X Yosemite. El Capitan 10.11.4 waited upgrade came out before installing it. Now the printer seems to be able to scan, but Image Capture can not open files in any format. I downloaded the latest driver on the Canon Website, but no cigar. I did not remove my Canon in the Applications folder, however.

  Looks like you already pulled the key.  You're ready to render in a bin & codec which will support alpha channels.  Personally, I would use quicktime movies in the PNG codec.  Add the model to the queue and rendered in the output module, configure it to PNG, RGB + Alpha, in Millions of colors + and straight (NOT premultiplied).

• I use Image Capture to shoot pics my phone is off

  Tired of importers jpg directly to photographs, then having to export and re-name-the, I use Image Capture to extract my iPhone.  I save it to my desktop.   I got their name in the Finder.  Then, I open the pictures and import them from my office.  When I finished all imports, I delete the pictures on my desk.  I have been through the jpgs in Photos and see several that I KNOW that I have given a file name, but they have names like IMG_5677.  What a waste of time!   I HATE it that Apple makes it so difficult just give a file name to your photos!  I use filenames for reasons of family history.  I don't want to be enslaved to a convention of software as "Securities.".

  You must make the difference between the file and the data it contains. This Word file is not your novel, it is a container. The data it contains is your novel. • PDF Image Capture files

  Since the update to Sierra (although I can't say that this was the cause of the problem), I have a problem when parsing and saving documents in PDF format using the image transfer application. A PDF file is created but when I open the pages are naked with perhaps only sometimes visible top line (and which appears at the bottom of the page!). I manage my own photos on my Mac, so I can understand wanting and needing these thumbnails to display correctly. I have a few things you can try to help him.

• Image capture said not accessible selected folder writable

  I am running 10.11.5. Have not used the Image Capture for some time and when used today, it scanned a look very well but gave me the message "the selected folder is not writable" when I went to the analysis and save it. I tried saving the file on the desktop. The first thing I did was to check the permissions, but to no avail.

  I wasn't having a problem with preview none-the-less, I moved the folder ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Preview on the desktop, but that no longer works.

  Someone has any idea of what could be wrong?
