I went to view/toolbars and disabled my toolbars. Now I can not understand how to get back them. Have no 'view' to click on.

In Firefox 3.6 and later Windows, you can hide the menu bar on "view > toolbars" or via the contextual right click menu on a toolbar.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key to bring up the menu bar temporarily.
Go to "view > toolbars", right click on the menu bar, or press Alt + V T to select to show or hide toolbars (click on an entry to switch from the State).

  • How to disable toolbars

I have designed a form in LC and must it have start in Acrobat or Reader with no toolbar. It would be the same as using the F8 key. I have examined samples but could not find one suitable for the use of the F8 key.

    Hello

Assuming you are runnig in Acrobat or Reader (and not in a browser) then this should do what you want

App.ToolBar = false; (true, to show them once again)

In fact, it can change the preference of users for you should probably encode to restore state after the document has been seen.

  • Permanantly disabling "Install Google Toolbar" and change the default value for future updates

I use Adobe products for years and, in general, is that Adobe produces some really useful tools for users of computers and productivity.  Thereby, ever time I get notice of an 'Adobe Flash Player' update I have to answer the same questions during the update / install process.  During the installation of the installation application ask if I want to install the toolbar 'Google', and the default value is Yes, then I have to uncheck the box before installation or I receive the software on my system I do not want or do not want.  In addition, towards the end of the update, the installation application provides three options on future updates:

    (1) download and install automatically

    (2) ask before installing

    (3) never install...

And each installation I have to uncheck the installation of "Google Toolbar" and tell them that Adobe 'ask me... ' "before you download and install future updates.

Is it possible permanently disable toolbar Google and by default my response to the update download and install question to always be 'Ask Me' first?  Adobe's witnesses crossing the machine during this process, so please do not suggest that it is not possible.  Adobe simply needs to modify the setup package to find these cookies and apply preferences users for the installation process instead of constantly trying to push unwanted applications and choices to the user.

The displayed offers are based on the OS and the browser used.  If the two of you are essentially correct, for the browsers you use.

If you opt in background updates, update option = allow Adobe to install updates (recommended), Flash Player will be updated within 24 hours of a new version is released.  If you use several browsers that use different types of Flash Player (for example, IE & Firefox) all drive types are updated within 24 hours of the new versions available.

If you opt in notification updates, update = option Notify me when updates are available, the update notification generally appears within 7 days of an update is available and it is after that the system was restarted or that you log on/off voltage.   Opting to put up-to-date will launch the browser to a download page to download and install Flash Player.  If you use several browsers that use different types of Flash Player (for example, IE & Firefox) as the type of player who set the notification of update is updated.  The other type of player is not updated.

Essentially, opting in the background updates will update all types of drive on the system within 24 hours and avoids downloading accidentally offers from third-party vendors.

Note: there are slight differences for OS X updated behaivour but since you have Windows I described the behavior under Windows.

  • Homepage is fine(full Menubar) when I opened a new tab that the menu bar disappears as well as the ability to scroll disappears. all I have is the above address bar

In the past I've always had my open pages in a new window and not in a new tab, but it is useless if I can't see the entire page because I only have the address bar, and I can minimize and expand or close the page. There is no scrolling up and down. Now, I have to go to my office and open a new window and paste the address in order to get a working page. I even went up to uninstall and delete the Mozilla in programs, redownload and install, but I have the same problem.

  • How to get rid of Bing REALLY!

APPARENTLY this problem has been resolved; that is, not by one of the authors of the response. I solved it. I tried Reset search 0.2 and found it did NOTHING. Same problem: whenever you open a new tab, Bing opens the cursed thing (I blame Mozilla because when I installed the package I got from their website, he informed me during the installation it was optimized for Bing and I LOATHE Bing and was angry because no other solution non-Bing has been offered), NOT the page new tab by default with the aspects of page used recently on this subject. I removed an incompatible disabled toolbar with this latest version of Firefox, uTorrent Community Toolbar and Webroot toolbar (keep in mind that the reset of the research is meant to be an add-on no restart required). I restarted, opened a new tab and welcomes No. BING BULLCRAP.

It could be argued that this has been taken up and already closed. Not exactly, not specifically. General are NOTHING of GOOD for specific problems. I can't explain WHY it worked, because NONE of the toolbars had nothing to do with Bing, and none of the toolbars in question had been active (uTorrent Community Toolbar was removed in the control panel > programs and features, yet appeared in the list of toolbars in Firefox; it seems to happen with Firefox sometimes).

I don't need to answer... Now, but I think that some others might find that it works for them. For various reasons, not everyone will achieve the same results, or even to SEE this problem on their systems. I have added this to the question which does not satisfy me, but a CLOSED person.

I'm sorry that our comments were not useful for you. Bing should not have been activated by default, so I think you may have gotten a customized version of Firefox. If this never happens again, a faster solution may be to download Firefox on our official website (https://mozilla.org/firefox/).

  • Windows Update freezes

    Hey guys,.
So I recently had a problem with XP Pro SP3 computer that works perfectly well in the normal tasks such as word processing, navigation, media, etc. I went to troubleshoot a Windows Update that I recently tried to install failed and Internet Explorer stops responding and freezes. So, here's exactly step by step what I do which creates this problem:

    (1) open upgrade from Windows (Internet Explorer then opens upwards)
    (2) Windows update site launches, but then a pop up asking to install something Microsoft is
    (3) I click on install
    (4) Internet Explorer freezes

Every time I open just Windows Update and let is sit here, it freezes within 30 seconds. Whenever I click on do not install, it freezes. The only way to get it is to stop the process. Norton Internet Security is installed, but I created a rule to allow the updates of Windows Installer and I recently installed updates (11/15/09) last Sunday and they have installed successfully, except one which was what I tried to solve the problems.

I already tried to re-registration of the Windows Update files, but also re-download of Windows Update and it still freezes. I am also able to navigate Internet Explorer perfectly on other sites with the exception of the Windows Update site. I ran scans and no viruses or malware were detected. The system is very healthy. Something to note is that the computer is on a domain. Please, if anyone out there has any ideas on what could be causing these constant freezes, let me know. Thank you.

After a reset of Internet Explorer, the Windows Update site would still freeze. So what I had to do was to go to manage add-ons in Internet Explorer or disabled toolbar Norton Confidential installed Norton Internet Security was installed on the computer. After you disable the toolbar, Windows Update site showed correctly with all of the updates I needed and properly installed. It's amazing how Norton Internet Security control is same with simple and legitimate services that are necessary for your system. This is the exact reason that I do not run full software suite like NIS. Thank you for your help. Problem solved.
