too many processes running in the background 61

How do I remove safely their

The amount of running processes is relative (I have 66 and the system works well). If you experience slow performance and Windows startup time is decent so maybe you should leave them be.
If not, see here to get started. Start by removing software that is not published by Microsoft. You can remove entries wth qttask(QuickTime task), reader_sl (launch Adobe Acrobat speed), AdobeARM, jusched (or anything associated with Java). Let the entries that have the name of the manufacturer of your computer (such as Dell, Lenovo, HP) and the name of the graphics card (ATI, Intel, NVIDIA) in their description fields, name of file or Publisher. It goes the same for antivirus software.

On Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, the batch of stocks does not work in the background.  Each document is processed back Adobe to the active window.  In previous versions, the action/batch has always run in the background.  During the processing of 1000 files, it is very annoying and time consuming.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it. I have found that on Windows you can kind of get around that by reducing the window of Acrobat using Win + D, but this is hardly a good solution. Acrobat is simply not built for the treatment of large quantities of files, even if it has the functionality of the wizard of the Action...

    How can I stop it?

    Hello

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE with no Addons - what works best?

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security tab - click on reset all default areas - apply / OK

Close and restart IE or IE with no addons

    not better?

IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if she's here, it is no longer necessary but Java still
installs and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again). Look for other
    possible problems.

Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right.
Allowed are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If in doubt about a program, ask
    topic here.

Could be a free - SpyBHOremover - BHO - standalone program, needs no installation, download and
run - not all are bad but some can cause your question (toolbars are BHO).

  • How do I know what process should run in the background of a HP Pavilion a1020n desktop computer

There are a lot of processes running in the background of my office, and the amount of memory used varies from 0% to 100%.  Seriously, this affects the performance of my pc, especially if I'm trying to run multiple applications at the same time.  Is there a list of the process 'default' which must be running, and if so, where can I find such a list?

As I do, that's if you close all the programs that you know how to close there should be only 50-60 process depending on the operating system that you do not specify.

From there on, organize the task by using the memory manager. Can google those using memory that you want to disable or learn more about.

  • for many processes running

my own pc indicates that there are many ongoing processes. need to know which ones can I stop

    Hi Billy,

Thanks for posting the question on the Microsoft Community Forums.

According to the description, it looks like you get a clean pc report indicating that there are too many processes running on your computer, right me if this isn't the issue.

It would be great if you can provide some clarification on this issue.

1 are you facing any problem with the operating system?

    2. are you this message while running a clean PC software?

Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

If you are facing a performance problem with the Windows 7 operating system, see the following Microsoft article:

Optimize Windows 7 for better performance: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Optimize-Windows-7-for-better-performance

    Notes:

Once you have finished the Configuration of the system startup troubleshooting, perform the steps in the step 3: to reset the computer as usual.

The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. The data files that are infected can be cleaned by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

With the help of Windows-related issues feel free to post on the Forums of community of Microsoft and we will be happy to help you.

  • BlackBerry Bold 9000 Blackberry Smartphones: What runs in the background?

I wanted to know if anyone knew which is always running in the background on the "BOLD".  When I start my "BOLD" in the morning, I check the memory and it shows that there are 26 MB available.  Now as the day progresses, I check it and it's way down to 6 to 8 MB.  I only check my emails and Twitter several times during the day and once I finished, I make sure that Twitter is closed and only shows do not in my launch as still running.  Anyone can shed some light on this?

Then, no matter who never installed a hybrid OS www.bbhybrids.net?  These hybrids, I understand, are expected to take less space on your memory flash (128 on the "BOLD" for OS) and run a heck everything a lot faster.  Is true and will be OK to do?  In addition, what the app "shrink a BONE" bbhybrids.net offers?  Anyone done this?  It work?

    Thank you!

Oh, and your memory, from 26 MB to 6-8 mb during the day could be dependent on other issues, you may have other applications and UberTwitter. Even leaving it keep a little a lot of data and cache in the app that does not release before that happen a battery pull. Same thing with some other applications like Pandora and BerryWeather and many others. The BlackBerry browser too.

  • How to find programs that run in the background?

My computer is slow to open. I ran the Viper virus program regularly.  I feel like there is much running in the background that is not visible to me.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory. This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

Search for malware: (Yes, please do)

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner. Delete everything is found.

    Reset.

  • How can I reduce what is running in the background because the computer runs very slowly.

    Original title: S L O W speed

How can I reduce what is running in the background?  How can I know about the enigmatic ID that I need the program running?

Click Start, run and type msconfig.

On the Startup tab, uncheck what you think that you don't need running at startup.

Then run a virus scan and AntiSpyware - you can find ones that are free on the net and and make sure you have a firewall too.

Press alt-ctrl-del to bring up the Task Manager and close everything that is running that you think are also unnecessary.

Overall be careful; confirm and backup before doing the things mentioned.

That's what I said the last time you asked.

do not use. I disable all. You probably want to keep your Antivirus

  • How to find scripts that run in the background

    Hey

I'm looking for which scripts to run in the background

    Thank you

Open the Task Manager and go to the Details tab. If a VBScript or JScript is running the wscript.exe or cscript.exe process appear in the list.

Right-click on the column header and select 'Command Line'. That should tell you what script file is running.
