  Do you already have an add-on named QuickStart? Maybe he leaves it behind.

  There is a parameter hidden what appears on new tabs, which you can modify as follows:

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) double-click the preference browser.newtab.url and enter your favorite page:

  • (Default) page thumbnails = > subject: newtab
  • Blank tab = > subject: empty
  • Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
  • Any other page = > full URL of the page

  Press Ctrl + t to open a new tab and check that it worked.

• Version 29: Address bar is filled with static icons to Firefox. Impossible to type the URL in the address bar.

  I have never seen anything like this before and can't find a solution in support or in a general Google search.

  We have a user who has an address bar has filed with the static icons in Firefox (there's a screenshot if there is no way to predict that). If the user clicks on them, they aren't going anywhere (they shouldn't be here anyway, no?). This user is unable to type in the address bar, either. Not sure if there was an auto-update to version 29 of the next day or not, but Firefox has been uninstalled a sweet version of installed 29 - reasoning that he could be an installation problem. The question remains. This user is not having the same problem with Chrome. Have not tried to breed with another browser on that machine. Have not heard complaints from other users in the Office using version 29.

  Is there a setting being ignored with version 29? Is this a bug? Should we try to install version 28 and see if it's a question of versioning, or maybe something else? Try to eliminate possible problems and move to the next set of solutions.

• Page Firefox blocks, led busy, very low cpu on some sites. I have an example.

  Looks like see you purchased elsewhere on iTunes are automatically downloaded to your iPhone 6. If this is the case, the Knowledge Article provides the location where you can change this setting:

  Turn on automatic downloads

  On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

  1. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Store.
  2. If you are not already, sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. Turn on the content you want to download automatically.

  You can turn automatic downloads or off via your cellular network on an iPhone or iPad Wi - Fi + cell. Go to settings > iTunes & App Store and tour use cellular data or disable. Mobile data downloads are limited to a file size of 100 MB or smaller.

  I'm working on a project where my "movies" (it is the language of the version 1 of Captivate, I think...) must register in a Flash bodering framework (created by my client) which presents some special controls in this regard. I capture my project to 1010 x 574, to leave room for this adjacent image when end-users watch the result on their screens of 1024 x 768.
  However, the published movie insists on in 1024 x 768 - top, bottom and sides of the window of desired content are padded with gray. that is, there are a gray bar along the top, a gray taller bar along the bottom and thin gray bars on the sides, by filling the frame out to 1024 x 768, even if my captured content is 1010 x 574.
  
  It is therefore impossible for my client place the film correctly in their Flash of 1024 x 768 frame. First I thought that it would be the HTML code that Captivate generates... but it's actually in the SWF file. my client does not even use the HTML generated by Captivate, they use SWF files directly.
  
  Last year, we worked on a number of movies using Captivate 1 and we never encountered this problem. (I just re-directed some old movies, to make sure that the problem is not there - it is not.)
  
  I looked at the different options that are available to me when I "Post", but none of these options seem to solve the problem. (I tried the option "full screen", but which got worse, not better).
  
  I hope I'm missing something simple here... but can someone give me a clue as to what it could be?

  PS: I also checked my settings 'Resizing of the project'-'User defined' is selected, with 1010 width and height 574, which is, indeed, what I want - and the percentages are set to 100%. But my result, as I have said, is 1024 x 768 (with grey padding) rather than the 1010 x 574 desired. Makes me say arrgh.

  Certainly what you describe seems to me as if the HTML file is always in the picture. Here's why.

  I created a little movie and put a yellow background.
  Then, I set up the HTML page via the project > skin-> tab borders to be bright blue.
  I then published. As expected, when I launch the application through the HTML page, the film is smaller, bright yellow, centered on a light blue background.
  I then tested by right-clicking the. SWF and choose open with and choose a browser. In this case, Internet Explorer. What I saw when I did it was my film with no bright blue in sight.

  Maybe try the publication with the HTML export option disabled?

  You can try contact preferences, general, show contacts is found in Apps, but there are also some programs that complement your Contacts automatically. I think there is an Add on Facebook that does this, but I am not sure.

  I don't think that the parameter "Found in Apps" actually creates contacts, however. I think that it shows everything that was found. However, other programs must create contacts.

  Unfortunately, there is no solution to this problem, because it is down to how each Web site is designed. Some sites Web stretches to fit the width of your Firefox window and it's as well as some do web work, as of today.

  You can not run Firefox in a maximized window, for this reason. That's how a lot of people with big screen choose Browse.

  Or, if you know CSS, you can install Stylish and write a style for the pages you want stretched. But that's only if you know CSS, or if you want to spend a few hours learning.

  This could be for a few reasons...

  1. The screen resolution is set too low
  2. The graphics device driver is not installed

  Reason no. 1:

  • Click with the right button on a part empty your desktop, and then click Properties
  • Click on the settings tab
  • Drag the slider to the right
  • Click OK

  This should give the native resolution of your monitor. If not you may need to get the latest drivers for graphics (reason 2).

  Reason 2:

  • Click Start
  • Click on run
  • Type devmgmt.msc and press enter
  • Enlarge (click on +) cards of the screen section

  If the graphics card is displayed in Standard VGA mode then you need to install the drivers for your graphics card. The same is true if there is no graphics listed, but there is a list under other devices.

  If you need help finding drivers we need to know your model of graphics card. If the chart is embedded (that is built into the motherboard) we need the make and model of your PC or motherboard.
