Toolbox HP device does not open

I just bought a new HP Pavilion 2310 p6 (running Windows 8) and a new printer MFP HP LaserJet TopShot Pro M275.  Just a question - when I click on the tile of the Toolbox of device HP on my desktop, nothing happens.   Is not something supposed to open?  He said "this tool is available only if you have performed a full install when you installed the product.  I guess that I have installed the printer when I hung it, but how do I know?  I would like to enter into the tool box to check the status of the print cartridge.  Can someone please help me or get into the Toolbox of device HP or let me know how to check to see if I made a "full install" for my printer?

    You seem to be running firefox v3.6.18. If this is the case, Sync must be installed via an add-on that is this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/firefox-sync/

    The instructions that you are referring to them are related to the built-in synchronization utility which is part of Firefox 5.0.x and may differ from those of the add-on.

    I posted a question about a week ago. I have change my Vista to XP.
    Now, I have another problem. I don't know but I had to install all the drivers graphic, sound ect. After installing XP.

    Then after that my bios updated my CD device no longer opens. My bios and my laptop detects it, but if I press the button nothing happens. I would like to add that the CD device has been opened during the update of the bios. I couldn't do anything. During the update the program warns me backup but backup my system has been disabled.

    Could you help find my old bios. I could not find anywhere...

    The question is strange to me. I updated the BIOS on several computers laptop A200 and P200, but there has never been any negative influence on the functionality of optical disc drive. Maybe I see it wrong, but I do not understand what the BIOS has updated with the functionality of opening/closing odd (optical disc drive).

    Usually, if you press the weird open button you should hear a sound it and the drive should open. Press the button several times. It should open properly. If this is not you must contact the service and clarify this point. You have the new notebook and it should work. The guarantee is valid and if the STRANGE must be replaced, it will be free of charge.

    In any case try to press the Open button. Is now a few CD/DVD inside?

  • Add to that a button on the device does not open Assistant

    I would like to add a bluetooth device, but nothing happens when you press the button. Y at - it another way to access this feature (maybe in the cmd, so I can see stderr) and how I can go about troubleshooting for this?

    The only suggestion I found was checking if the bluetooth services are running, but they already are. I also reinstalled my bluetooth drivers.

    I hate to give you the answer 'I don't know what's happening, then try this'... but I don't know what is happening.

    1 recently, you did changes to the computer?

    Method 1. Uninstall and reinstall the cd - dvd drive.

    If the drive is not listed, remove and reinstall the existing drivers.
    To do this, follow these steps:
    a. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
    b. click System and Maintenance, click System and then click on Device Manager.
    Note that if control panel is in Classic view, double-click System and then click on Device Manager.
    c. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
    d. in Device Manager, expand CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives, right click on the device CD and DVD and then click on uninstall.
    e. When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK and restart the computer.
    After the computer restarts, the drivers will be installed automatically.

    Method 2. The firmware was updated.
    I would also recommend updating the firmware of the CD - DVD drive.
    You may need to contact the manufacturer for it.

    as the title suggests, does not open my signed application.

    A few facts:

    • When I touch my application signed on the device icon, the screen shakes from left to right, as a sign that he can't open.
    • It works fine when I use the debugging token and charge of QNX Momentics IDE.
    • I use a program called DDPB to install my signed. BAR in the device.
    • I signed with the same signature and with the same program (DDPB) other applications and they open.

    Gosh, I just need to make it work so I can download it from AppWorld. And my client is in a hurry and he's angry.

  • Toolbox pod does not open

    I use RoboHelp HTML - 7.02.
    I click Display > pods > Toolbox and nothing happens - the Toolbox does not open.

    I have closed all of the pods, restarted HR and still unable to open the Toolbox. Acutally that some other pods opens no whatever, including BugHunter, view output, Variables defined by the user - I don't really need of these right now, but just to test everything in the pods menu while trying to turn ugly.

    I need to do a search and replace, and it's in the Toolbox. Help?

  • Systematically, does not open, gives the error: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla\firefox.exe Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.» You can not

    Installed FF 16, 17, 18. Does not open in the normal administrator account, or with "Run as Administrator" but will be in SafeMode to W7. Changed the permissions (normal connection had to do in Mode without failure of W7, would not allow (connected as an administrator) can not delete the files from Mozilla in normal connection.) On rare occasions, with a fresh install, I could get it to open once, then not again. Searched the reg any mention of Mozilla or FF and cleaned. Tried FF safe mode, no luck. Check permissions after appropriators and multiplication of the rights of full ownership of all the files of FF, several reboots, no luck. Chrome, IE and SeaMonkey work very well. Using a fairly new installation of W7 Professional 64 bit on a Dell Optiplex 990 i7, 16 GB of ram. Had the same problem with another user on the same box. No problem on other computers without other problems in program.

    Finally have it running. Seems that the enterprise version of McAfee is blocking the installation of the program. McAfee uninstalled, reinstalled Firefox, installed McAfee and now, it's good to go.

    OK, thanks for the update. I have found an excellent solution of fellow community members @Sunshyn2005 , take a look below:

    I would like you to download this > File Association problem.

    You won't see anything happen after about 4-5 minutes waiting, restart the computer, and then try again the printer Assistant icon.

    If the problem persists, I would delete the printer Assistant icon, open devices and printers, right-click on your printer and choose open. In the window that opens, please right-click on the Printer Wizard and click on create a shortcut. Now we can go to the desktop and see if it will be open from there. The icon will now by HP in a blue circle and say HP Printer Wizard below (see image below).  If it opens and works, we use this going forward, but if it does not continue with the steps below.

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key ( ) on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type %temp%
    2. Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
    3. Unplug the USB cable (if connected), open programs and features, click Editor (all HP software will be together now) and uninstall all software associated with the printer. You fill find the basic driver, study for improvement of the product, HP Officejet 8500 help. Be sure to do not uninstall other HP software, especially if your computer is a HP computer. I generally use the date as a reference. Printing software would have all been installed on the same date.
    4. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
    5. Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.

    Problem solved for Cohbercan.

    MAC OS 10.6.8 the Verdana font family members were not installed on the system. On the installation of all four members of the Verdana family the issue got resolved.

    Normal, bold, italic, bold-italic Verdana.

    I understand that you're having trouble to open a document Pages 5.6.1 on your MacBook Pro.  Have you recently updated or changed on demand?  Have you tried to open a Pages document on icloud drive, in addition to your computer? One thing I would try is to use Time Machine and go back to an earlier date and see if you can open a document.  If you can't, then you must uninstall the application Pages and re-download from the Mac App Store.

    I would add some information below to help you with these troubleshooting steps.

    Restore specific files:

    1. Enter in Time Machine, choose the Time Machine menu , or click on the Time Machine in the Dock.

    After a clean install of windows 8.1 the audio beats does not open.

  • Satellite L350 - CD/DVD drive does not open

    If the CD/DVD drive doesn t open more I think that you can do anything in this case.

    I can only confirm what writes Akuma. You need to replace the CD/DVD drive and you get a new from an authorized service provider. If your laptop is under warranty you can get a new one for free.

    I had the same problem a few months ago. EPA has replaced the CD/DVD drive in a few days and I come back my laptop. Very fast service and the technicians are friendly. :)
