Toshiba 40L1333B unchangeable resolution on PC

Hello.

My parents recently purchased a 40L1333B TV for use in some room in my house.
The room is currently full to move boxes, so he lives with me until we can clear the room.

I used it for my PC the last time, but I find that I can not change the resolutions outside of force into the catalyst for my graphics card, a Radeon 7850HD Control Panel.
It works well on computers desktop and my browsers, but as soon as I try and get into a game, it uses by default a ridiculous resolution that varies between games.

Change of Half Life 1 default to 720 x 480, which has been the scene he was stuck on my desk before forcing the Res, Devil May Cry 4 default values in the same and Star conflict forces himself to 1024 x 768.

Only one of these games gives me the ability to change the resolution, which is Devil May Cry 4, but only at a lower resolution. Is there a way to solve this?

Thank you
Kainen

You have a LED from Toshiba 40L1333B Full HD 1080 p TV, but you're talking about PC problems.
Sorry mate but I put t he understand your game resolution problem isn t not connected to the Toshiba TV but to your computer.

    Hello

I m not a photographer, but perhaps you can use Photoshop on an external monitor where you can choose a higher screen resolution.
    Check this box!

An alternative, you can use GIMP. AFAIK there is no minimum screen resolution.

  • Is the support from Toshiba Tecra A9-resolution 1400 x 900?

One of my clients to work inherited as just a flat screen of Xerox XM7 - 19W. I was informed that the 'best' resolution for this monitor is 1400 x 900. I have the discs for the monitor to this resolution, supposedly after installing the drivers, the resolution does not appear.

My client is currently using a laptop Tecra A9 PTS52E-01D00YEN. This laptop will support a resolution of 1400 x 900. If so, did anyone know where I can get the drivers for this (I already tried the toshiba unsuccessfully site). If not, anyone know what the resolution supports the laptop?

    The maximum resolution for the Xerox XM7 - 19W is 1440 x 900 (not 1400 x 900)
    Resolution 1440 x 900 is supported by the Tecra A9 (1400 x 900 is not).

  • Tecra S4: Screen Resolution only shows max 1024 x 768

    Hello

my laptop is a Tecra S4, Windows XP sp2 and a Nvidia Quadro NVS110M like a graphics card.

While the technical specification shows the max 1400 x 1050 with internal toshiba LCD screen resolution, windows xp displays that 1024 x 768 as max screen.

I've updated the drivers from the Toshiba site, but I can not yet move beyond 1024 x 768.

How can I unlock other resolutions?

    Thank you

    Manel salvation

I think I need to clarify something because it looks like you n t know that the Tecra S4 has been delivered with different hardware specifications.

Contains first the Tecra S4 has been shipped with 2 different.
It supports two different views of color TFT
    -15, 1 "(1024 x 768)"
    -15, 1 '' (1400 x 1050) "

It seems that you have purchased a Tecra S4 model which was equipped with a 15.1 "(1024 x 768) display and higher resolution is not available!"

  • Resolution 1280 X 768 is not supported on my Satellite M105-S1003

I have laptop Toshiba Satellite M105-S1003.

According to its description on the official website of Toshiba its native resolution is 1280 X 800
But this is not an acceptable resolution and practical.
Starting Panel breaks down and I can't use it properly.
I think the resolution is 1280 X 768, but the resolution does not include in the properties of the monitor.

I install the latest version of the drivers for the video card from the Intel site
How do I configure resolution 1280 X 768 or how I can push the 1280 X 800 resolution works correctly

    Thank you

    Hello

Sorry, but you are confusing me. Native resolution for this monitor is 1280 X 800, and it is not acceptable for you.
I m wondering why you bought this laptop.

I really don't understand how you fall on 1280 X 768. The fact is that the screen displays a resolution just supported.
Maybe we can try to find the explanation if you explain what you mean by: how I can push the 1280 X 800 resolution working correctly?

    What you mean under properly?

  • Resolution + - Does anyone have this from their laptop DVD?

Anyone has the program resolution + in their laptop?

I have the A660 announced with resolution + but this is not not in the laptop and I want to clarify this point with the other.

That's what he's supposed to do:
Using Toshiba's resolution + technology unique, images from standard-definition DVD image quality can be improved to a level close to HD, convert the 480 p signal on standard DVD video in 720 p or 1080i signals for optimal display on screens quality high definition. Thanks to Toshiba of technology resolution +, image quality is just great. Details of the contours is more clear and images look crisper, with enhanced images that friserait the quality high definition

    See:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/generic/easymedia_entertainment_eu/?feature=resolution+#resolution+

    Thank you

What do you mean with resolution + program?
AFAIK that is not program. This is the new technology used on new laptops from Toshiba and TV to increase the image quality and it is part of ENTERTAINMENT EASY

On this technology, you can find lots of information on the pages of support Toshiba and also very interesting movies on YouTube.

  • Qosmio G20: How to get the higher screen resolution on monitor external 22 "

I have a Qosmio G20 and today I bought a Samsung 226BW the external display. The Samsung has a max resolution / optimal 1680x1050px. The manual SAIS the laptop Toshiba supports a resolution of the external display up to 2048 x 1536...

I tried now all sorts of settings, but the highest resolution I get on the external monitor is 1440 x 900 (-even as the laptop).
1440 x 900 display 22 '' is not enough for serious photo editing;. It seems simply blur.

What I am doing wrong? I deeply appreciate answers/comments; because if 1440 x 900 is all I can get, I have to return to the external monitor to the store...

    If someone is so good!
    Espen.

    Hello

The available screen resolution depends on the graphics driver. You cannot choose the favorite one from the 1680 x 1050 resolution because it doesn t graphics card driver supports.

Perhaps an update of the graphics driver could help.

By the way; an inf file must be provided by the manufacturer of the monitor. You can install this file right-click and choosing install.

  • Resolution + on Satellite A660-10W - finally it works

My son has been abandoned, but I have not finished his comments.
I would like you to know that most of the A660 is not installed with a player of DVD from Toshiba and therefore the resolution + does not work.
Who would have thought that Toshiba do advertising resolution + but not install their own Toshiba DVD player?

I want to thank all those who helped me, and helped to try to help me, even though ultimately I had to get technical help from the Enduser EMEA complaint team
due to my initial complaint that my laptop Satellite A660-10W did not carry the resolution +.

However, I must say that comments like the following comments on the resolution + do no justice to Toshiba and were very helpful:
    1. first its nothing special and the second is not the end of the world if you don't have it on your laptop
    2. you can see the only thing it's done colors watch grow up, not huge improvement and I am sure that there are many programs that offer the same or similar thing.
    3. have u even seen photos I posted? If you knew that ud is not much of an improvement

All made by the same person.
After you have installed a completely new version of Toshiba DVD Player with resolution + I can't understand you enough what a technology is wonderful. It made old DVD until almost the HD quality and I can testify that it is excellent and I am very glad that I persisted and he did not listen.

  • Tecra A2 screen nod

    Hello world!

I have a tecra A2 where the screen flickers from time to time... Nothing happens with programs or other things, but it is still very annoying... What could be the cause of this? His chip 855 intels and I have the latest drivers download driver intel and toshiba. Screen resolution is 1400 x 1050 15 "SXGA.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

If the screen flickers, there may be some malfunction and it must be checked by the service partner. I put t really know what can be the reason of this problem.

The speed of the CPU has confused me a little. As far as I know if the motherboard is changed the speed of the CPU will be around 600 MHz and in this case the service partner needs to update the CPU microcode. After that, the speed of the processor will be as before. The operating system adds nothing of all this.

Also check this http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=3600&tstart=25 topic. Maybe it can help you solve the sound problem when using a wireless connection.

  • TECRA M1 problem - external monitor ressolution

I have Toshiba tecra m1 laptop and I plugged in the vga cable external monitor LG W2252TE. The ressolution fixed by the graphics card on the external monitor's maximum: 1280 X 1024, I wanto ressolution on 1680 x 1050 pourdefinir, because it is an optimal ressolutin through my monitor. My vga display the 4:3 format, but my monior is 16:9. How I can change this ressolution, it is possible to rewrite the friv graphics card and ressolutin added?, my graphics card: Trident XP4m32

    Hello

First of all, you must check if the graphics card chip allows and support your favorite external resolution.
According to the information in the user manual (which can be downloaded from the Toshiba page) this resolution are supported by a graphics chip:

    640 x 480
    800 x 600
    1024 x 768
    1280 x 1024
    1600 x 1200
    1920 x 1440
    2048 x 1534

Unfortunately 1680 x 1050 is not mentioned and I doubt you had the choice.
Also very important is the graphics card driver. If the driver doesn't include such a resolution then it will appear in the graphics card settings and you might not choose it.

  • Qosmio F20-137: DVB - T ERM - video frequently vibrates

    Hello

I read the forum and have noticed that many people had the same problem as me.
Qosmio player poster live analog TV and recordings. The problem is however, with media center.

When I look at the over-the-air digital television or playing a recording, the video frequently vibrates and jumps and sometimes displays a screen TV no Signal.

Has anyone made any progress Toshiba about a resolution to this annoying problem?

I wonder if they will release an update for Qosmio Player to be able to register and play on digital television.

  • G10-100: IE text appears in a very small size on some websites

First, I would like to say that I love my Qosmio machine. Got it for 1 year now, and he played brilliantly. I am technically, however find it difficult to diagnose and fix the following strange problem.

When displaying certain Web sites in Internet Explorer, a text may appear in a very small size. Some sites for example in this case:
    http://www.Travelocity.co.UK/
    http://www.Wotif.com/
    http://www.commbank.com.au/NetBank/#
    http://www.BBC.co.UK/weather/

It's almost as if that a certain type of page web/code/style sheet/whatever gets displayed in really small text. Yet once, it only occurs with certain web pages and not in all the other apps!) Odd.

I tried to change the resolution of the screen, update the graphics driver. Maybe these particular sites are coded for specific screen resolutions, and mine is not properly recorded?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated? If you need more details to help me diagnose, please ask me! Is there a new graphics driver to be released soon?

    Thank you!

    Ben.

    ENVIRONMENT INFORMATION:
    -Windows XP MCE (SP2)
    -C' IE (6.0.2900.2180) (latest version)
-nVidia GeForce FX Go5700 (v6.14.10.6612) (latest version available on the Web from Toshiba site)
    -Display resolution 1440 x 900, 32-bit.

    Hello

Well, first of all that it s not a problem because IE Toshiba is a Microsoft product. Usually I put t think that there is a failure anyway.
I checked the links and for me, everything shows ok. Of course it small and large text produced on Web sites, but in my opinion it s a page design.
However have you checked the options under display in IE?
There you can change the size of the text.

    Good bye

  • Satellite A300D-15B - new LCD screen

I need to buy a new LCD screen. I'm looking on the internet and this is the same screen 15,4 "but the resolution is 1280 x 800, but on the Toshiba site the resolution of this laptop is 1 440 x 900.

    If this will work?

    Hey Buddy,

I'm not sure on this subject but in your case, I would buy an LCD with the same screen resolution.

Also, don't forget that not all LCDs will be adapted so you should ask a service provider authorized in your country. Guys can order spare parts Toshiba and exchange it because that's not easy.
