Toshiba 42VL863 and DLNA - disconnect after 30 minutes

I have the television on the cable network with shielded cable category 7, gigabit lan on a switch, such as media servers, I have a Qnap TS-509 with DLNA, all connected devices (tablets, PC and other devices) reproduce the video stream without problem.

The TV instead: after 30 minutes of reading device tells me disconnected.
I tried everything, but I can't see a whole movie.
I demand an answer from toshiba. The money that I gave for this TV were not false, but good.

I use DLNA with my Toshiba TV but you can check at all first if maybe some firmware update is available for your model of TV.

DNS problems mainly affect the router problems.
I think you should try to reset the router WLan first.
In addition it s recommended to update the WLan driver.

  • PCOIP Session disconnects after 15 minutes

    http://communities.VMware.com/docs/doc-17799

I have about 50 clients that disconnect them all their PCOIP session after 15 minutes. It disconnects without worrying if they are actively using the mouse/keyboard or not. In the windows application log, I get a declarant to VMware View event 102

"In waiting for portal logon has expired for user domain\user, wssm has not started correctly, or the user could not connect and connect." In waiting for County left = 0 "

I checked the following VMware DOC (http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-17799) and the Userinit registry key is set correctly. I also checked that the WSSM process is started. If the key work correctly as well.

If I restart the WSSM. EXE, the problem process is delayed for a few hours, but comes back and disconnect users after 15 minutes again. Have to restart this process on each of these virtual machines is becoming a pain.

I tried to change the delay setting in the GPO ADM template, but to the maximum setting login Ticket is 900 seconds (15 minutes). I know that I can directly change the registry key "\VMware VDM\Agent\Configuration\VdmConnectionTicketTimeout HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.", but I don't want to work around the problem - I would like to fix.

From my understanding, the user gets a ticket valid on connection, 15 minutes later the ticket expires and the user is disconnected, and then reconnected immediately and the cycle repeats. I guess that the ticket he supposed to get a new ticket some time in this window of 15 minutes, but for some reason any is not.

    Any ideas?

Take a look at your PCOIP logs and see if you can determine what is the code of disconnection.  You can cross reference here to see why it is disconnected.

  • Internet disconnects after 5 minutes

Hi I was using my PC for a long time. I went for the weekend, and when I came back, I got a problem.  Every 5 minutes or so internet stops working.  There is no notification that a cable has been disconnected.  When I type something in the address bar it keeps loading but the page never comes to the top.  It is not my hardware or ISP because I started another operating system (fedora) and it worked fine. A temporary solution that I use is to disconnect and reconnect the eithernet cable.  But then the problem occurs again in 5 minutes.

    Things I've tried:
    1. disable internet card
    2. set a static ip address
    3. release ip/renew ip
    4 uninstall internet card
    5. restart the router

    Hi AppleWilliam,

Thanks for posting. The first thing we must do is to determine where the issue is in fact. This could be a problem with a piece of hardware, Internet Explorer, Windows or your ISP.

First when the problem occurs again do the following.

    Type the following command:

IPCONFIG/ALL [Note that there is no space between the oblique and ALL bar].

Right-click in the command window and choose select all, and then press enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

In the same command prompt window, identify the DNS and gateway (it will look something like ... default gateway: 192.168.1.1 and DNS servers...: 192.168.100.54 )

Now in black comand prompt, type the following command:

PING 192.168.1.1 (by replacing your IP of the gateway here) [Note that there is no space between the oblique and ALL bar]
Let us know if you get the response or timeouts.

Also again once in the same window type the following command

PING 192.168.100.54 (by replacing your DNS IP here) [Note that there is no space between the oblique and ALL bar]
Let us know if you get the response or timeouts.

If the answer then you can have a problem with your web browser. If you are using and other Web browsers with test and see if you have the same result.

If you do not get a response, test with another computer if possible to see if the problem persists there. If the problem does not occur on the other PC, then check your network cable connected to the PC and see if there is a link light. If there is a clear link then try to replace the cable and see if the problem persists.  If the problem persists after replacing the cable with a known good work. If the problem persists with a good cable to work known so try another port on the router or switch.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if any of these steps did or did not solve your problem.

  • TC6 Firmware - call disconnects after 2 hours

    Hi all

Our client complains that after the firmware update on the endpoints of telepresence (C40, C60, EX90) to TC6.x, there are two questions:

1 end with TC6.x points will disconnect after 120 minutes to be connected to any appeal initiated by the remote end.  They will not cut the minute 120 if the TC6.x Unit has initialized the call.

2 end points with TC6.x cannot connect to units MXP running F6 or earlier.  Since we MXP Codec Software F6 and F5 this is causing problems with the calls point to point.

They have units with the TC5.1.6 software which have no problem at all. The only thing among others as the routers and switches is a VCS controller.

Anyone has any ideas on what is the cause?

    Thank you

    John

In TC6, we turned silently on TCP KeepAlive for the session h225 running with the default time of linux tcp_keepalive_time of 7200 seconds.  That would probably explain the disconnection to 120 minutes which sees the John after moving from TC5.1.6.

I would also say that if this is the case, there is something which is tcp to the current between the two devices.  The firewall is also my first thought.  Perhaps WAAS on a router?  Sometimes you can get a clue that this is occurring by comparing the tcp ack/seq/windowsize header to see if it is different between the sending to the receiving side for the same package.  Something like 'tcpdump-s0 w /tmp/h225.pcap port 1720' root must limit the collected output.

The TC6 troubleshooting located here would be a good reference in newspapers and tcpdump to use for troubleshooting signaling related issues:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/codec-c-series/TC6/troubleshooting_guide/tc_troubleshooting_guide_tc60.PDF

The example uses this doc does not filter the traffic and John you do not want to limit the output of tcpdump only for signalling interesting to avoid problems with the size of the OCAP collected file.

We have a bug open better control KeepAlive on the session h225 (CSCub20591) but not clear if/when it will be executed and for now if there is something that is expire tcp sessions in the network, changes will be made here to avoid this problem.

For the 2nd question, I'm not aware either a problem with older MXP but your approach Martin to try a later version of the software would also be what I would recommend.  If you need to solve problems with old software MXP TC6, the same troubleshooting guide h323 newspapers are where you want to focus on to see where in the handshake the call fails and compare this output between TC6 and TC5.1.6 as to what has changed that can have an impact on this.

With "disconnect" you probably mean "unplug", no?

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say why this is happening. What kind of job do you have?
I mean if the laptop turns off without apparent reason, it could be due to overheating and critical temperature of material.
