Toshiba 46TL938: 3D playback choppy when PC to TV via HDMI

Hello

I have a very specific problem and cannot identify exactly what the problem maybe. In short:

-J' have a 3D film which is read by VLC but also KMplayer.
-On my monitor 23 "1080 p via HDMI, the film plays well enough and smooth.
-On my Toshiba 46 "HDTV playback on 3D sometimes accused, exactly the same thing when a computer cannot handle the load and the shifts on video playback.
-J' tried to put the film on a USB and connect it to the TV. Then playback of 3D on the TV was really smooth without any lag.

If the facts are executives work well on a HD 23 "(playedback with VLC and KMplayer) monitor, but also run smooth on my laptops screen."
Fact is also that the same movie plays smooth a Flash USB plugged into the TV.

I tried with another movie (no 3D) listen to from my laptop via HDMI on my TV. This worked pretty well without any lag.

(1) so my main question is if the movie is not correct, why play it right back via a USB, but not through my laptop.

(2) in addition, if my computers vga portable would be unable to handle the 1080, I guess that reading also lag on my monitor 23 "which is also 1080.

I have really no idea if it's the movie, TV or vga that has the problem.
Any suggestion would be great.

Thank you in advance.

Hello

I put t thinks that his TV show.
First of all using USB flash memory, the movie is managed by Toshiba media player and second the data does not need to be send via cable.

The notebook movie streaming, you send the signal to the TV via an HDMI cable. 3D movies contains a lot of data and this could affect the playback quality streaming of data from one device to another.

So if you have seen some interruptions during playback, it could be linked to the HDMI cable.
If your HDMI connection is capable of 1080 p and/or your TV is capable of greater than 50 Hz refresh rate, need you a cable of category 2. Conventional HDMI/DVI cable may not work properly with this model. Also try a short cable (1.5 to 2 m)

You should also consult the user manual * 88.* page
The HDMI on the TV inputs accept the VGA, SVGA, XGA, WXGA and SXGA signal formats that are
as shown in table _page 88_ VESA-compatible.

Since some PC and HDMI or DVI input signals of devices which differ of the resolution and frequency that are described in the table, the following phenomenon can happen; _incorrect display, detection of fake format, failure of position photo, blur or judder_.

In this case, set the monitor output on your PC, HDMI or DVI device to conform to a signal in the table you will find in the user manual.

  • Video playback choppy when slow mo and speed

Every time I have slow down a section of a component or speed it up, playback becomes jerky and not smooth flowing. Get it fixed when I make it? If not, how to fix?

Also, when I'm trying to ride the 2 clips together to fade from one clip to another, for some reason, faded away after the first clip, and shuts down the second clip, the clip just becomes very low, then it goes black, then fades in. How can I fix it? This is how I did it:

I put the second clip above the first clip, then I set the first keyframe at the beginning of the 2nd clip then set opacity to 0. Then I put the second keyframe where I wanted to fade to be complete, then set opacity to 100. However, when I read, what is happening.

    I'm doing it wrong?

FYI, I use the latest version, the CS6.

    Thank you!

Dissolves... which is what this kind of transition is called--are pretty easy. Butt just two clips, making sure that every clip has a point 'in' which is a second or so in the video and a 'out' point one or two seconds before the end of the clip. The bits of a clip before and after points of entry/exit of the clip are called "handles".

Go to the video/Transitions effects, take dissolve it and drop it on the joint between the two clips. A fade in the other.

Premiere Elements could fit better your computer capabilities, I don't think it needs as much material as PrPro.

  • Changing movie game mode picture of USB on Toshiba 46TL938

    Hello

I tried to play a movie from the USB on my Toshiba 46TL938 yesterday.
Unfortunately the reading has had a lot of opera and probably I didn't see anywhere near
    playback 24 p.

On my TV, I have the clearscan completely off, but it seems that the toshiba media player uses its own default settings. On my computer, the movie played without any problems, so the file was quite well.

I finally connect my computer to my TV to watch the movie decently.

You have any suggestions on this subject?
I could not find any additional setting that would solve this problem.

The manual provides information on the use of TV Media Player (page 65)
    http://www.Toshiba-OM.NET/LCD/PDF/English/TL938-4046-English.PDF

During playback, you can adjust the functions of the menu of the image and sound in the Quick Menu
But these elements are different depending on the current mode.
Play movie USB the quick menu does not contain the same elements as when watching a TV show or of the external entry-stop or one-stop 3D photos

  • Solution for DVD playback choppy on Satellite Pro A100

    Hello!

I had this problem twice on my Toshiba laptop (Satellite Pro A100 bought in April 2006): the DVD used to play very well, but now (perhaps after an update of the driver or installation of software, I not sure what causes this) DVD playback is choppy, distorted sound. This occurs throughout all media players on Windows XP (for example, PowerDVD which came with the laptop) or Windows media player.

I searched the internet far from a solution and finally found how to solve this problem:

Go to Device Manager, select the "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" section, and then select the "second IDE channel", right click and 'uninstall '. (There are two second IDE channels, if you know which then just uninstall both.) Restart Windows XP, Windows XP will automatically reinstall the drivers without the need to download anything. Subsequently the DVD Player reads normally.

The symptoms of the problem, apart from DVD playback choppy, are the "transfer mode" gets stuck on PIO for a reason, and bring back to DMA with no opportunity to spend. I have no idea what software or driver causes this, or why, but if this is your problem too, if you think that this solves.

Cool, thanks for the inquiry and the nice information.
Could be useful to others here in the forum.

  • Popping / crackling sound when the Satellite L650-1PQ is connected via HDMI

    Hi all

I have recently connected my laptop to the TV via HDMI, and I hear his pop/cracking every time the music, video or games is played. I tested the speakers with my MP3 player and the Xbox, and there is no POPs or crackles when I'm with them.

I've updated to the latest drivers from Toshiba, but it has not yet resolved the issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Care of my system is as follows:

    Processor: 2.66 GHz Intel Core i5 480M
    RAM: 4 GB DDR3 RAM
OS: 64 - bit Windows 7 Home Premium
Graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

    > I have recently connected my laptop to the TV via HDMI, and I hear his pop/cracking every time the music, video or games is played

The crackling is in from the TV speakers. Right?

Can you hear the Crackle even using headphones or speakers for laptop?
If not, then I think that this problem could be related to his driver.

In your case, I would check the settings in the control panel-> sound-> playback-> audio digital-> set up

  • Toshiba 46WL768 - abandonment of the photo while streaming from a PC via HDMI

I believe I have exactly the same problem for a year on my 46WL768 when running from a computer via HDMI.
The problem seems to be related to the level of the input signal that happens much more often a source of the computer, but seems to be the same problem you describe clear or too dark.

I tried all versions of firmware that I can find.
I tried, as far as I know, all combinations of each including triggering turnng the options in each mode of TV (something still on in-House who controls this however, no matter what you do).
I tried several computers and several graphics cards very expensive.
I even sent listed you for repair where a number of parts, including the motherboard have been replaced (as a precaution because they could not find the same question, yet I can reproduce instantly).

You can make it less annoying by opting for one of the default views Hollywood, but you can't, in my experience, get rid of it. Your only two options seem to be flashing constantly with a very high level of responses for actions on the screen, or it is less often stumble but have an image on the screen "lag". If you look at the Movies TV/no-act, the second option is not too bad but there not acceptable for computer use which is what I use it for.

The problem, as I understand it, is once the bright/dark ratio of the image displayed on the screen will over/under a certain level of relaxation, the screen flashes on an another secondary display mode and the white you see is this switch.

Maybe you should try to disable some additional features like local sponsorpark, clean scan, view auto or erase the image.
AutoView mode automatically adjusts the picture settings based on the ambient light conditions and input signal.

Also recommend that you use the PC mode in case the laptop is connected. PC mode is available in mode of RGB/PC Input / input HDMI

I have my laptop connected to a TV via HDMI. The TV has no headphone jack, if I want to use headphones by connecting them to my laptop. When the headset is plugged in, the sound will still through the HDMI.

I tried to change the devices by default and disable the HDMI audio in the control panel for the sound, but it won't work. I used the troubleshooter for audio. He has acknowledged this problem and tried to fix it, but failed.

  • Toshiba 42WL67Z - no picture via hdmi and vga

    Hello

After a power outage, my 42WL67Z (Regza LCD) no longer displays a picture via hdmi and vga.

The computer receives a TV signal, it detects the screen when connected and offers the usual option (duplicate or prolong the display, screen resolution), but no image is displayed.

    The OSD works well.

    Ideas?

    > Ideas?

I think that you first need to connect to another device (DVD player, Blu - Ray player, etc.) on television and must choose the right channel to enter the settings.
If TV continues not to receive all the signals of such device, it means you have a hardware problem.

  • When you try to print photos or turn them into a book, I constantly get the message that I 'am not connected to the internet"when I am clearly, via wifi.

PHOTOS, Version 1.3 often gives me an error message "you are not connected to the internet" when I am clearly, via wifi.  This happens when I try to print a photo or to place pictures in a book.  (It also happens when I ask to export a photo on the desk, but then it is exported, despite the error message.) In the preferences of pictures, I chose "download the originals of this Mac", but the problem seems to be when the photo of the cloud recovery.  My operating system is up-to-date: 10.11.3.  My desktop Mac is mid-2010.  I take quite a few photos, and maybe download them to the cloud and then download them to my computer takes a long time.  That's the only explanation I can find.

You have activated the iCloud photo library and selected the option to optimize the photos in your local library?

If Yes, then the Photos is a download full version size for use in the book, print, or share via email, etc.

  • my screen goes black when I plug in my HDMI cable

I have never had a problem with the help of my my TV HDMI cable to watch movies from my laptop.  I do not know whether the windows update is causing this problem, but when I plug in my HDMI cable to my laptop, the screen goes black and the TV receives no signal.

Hi, I had the same problem when I plugged the hdmi for the first time that I chose the 'graphics options-> output-> TV' at first by right-clicking on the desktop. Later I selected "change pc settings" section of charms and the selected tab devices add a device and while the laptop was looking I have connected the hdmi cable. This is how I got to the TV screen.
probably, you will need to turn off the TV and the laptop first. Then put on the tv and select the desired hdmi option before you put on the laptop and pressing on the ' logo window + p "or"fn + f4"keys. Lets c if it works

    moniter and hdmi problems

When I plugged in my hdmi to pc I have followed the news but when I rehooked my moniter I lost the signal from my TV. I have a vizio hd tv.

    Hello

    ·         What operating system is installed on the computer?

Method 1: Follow the steps and check if that helps:

    (a) first of all you need a video cable to make the physical connection. For a better image quality, you must connect to the computer to the TV using standard VGA ports or via DVI to HDMI cable provided your TV supports these ports.

    (b) open the "display settings" in your computer and activate the output to the TV screen. You can reflect the content of your computer on the TV or extend the display as a double screen control.

    (c) pick up your TV remote and switch to "External inputs" in the menu. You need to change the value by default "Video 1" to a different selection which may be "HDMI 1" or "video 2" depending on how you made the connection. "

Important: Make sure you connect the cable to the TV before turning on the computer, because sometimes it may not recognize the external display.

You may also change the resolution of your TV screen using the display settings in your panel of control remains the image may appear distorted.
