Toshiba NB520 11V - how to install a 3G network access module

Hello

I recently bought a NB520 11V and I was interested if it's possible and how to install a module 3G network access. And if it is possible, what are the specifications of the installation of a 3G network access module I have to buy.

Kind regards
Luis

Hello

As I know that some of the model supports NB500 is the 3G module but the NB520 does not support 3G.

The 3 G CARD-F3307R2 (900TEG), which is equipped in the NB500 is the number of piece K000124470 (google for it)
But to be honest I'm not very well if this module is compatible with the Mr. NB520 I guess not

  • How to install the spectral measures and Modulation for several versions of Labview Toolkits

    Hello dear,
This is a known issue. You can read in the readme of the modulation toolkit:

    Two Versions of LabVIEW installed
The installer supports the installation of the Modulation Toolkit into one
version of LabVIEW; installation of the tool in several separate
facilities (e.g. LabVIEW 7.0 and 7.1 installed LabVIEW LabVIEW
on the same PC or in separate directories) is not supported or recommended.
A way not supported to do but involves manually copying files from
one LabVIEW installation to another. To do this, you can install the
Modulation Toolkit to the base of a LabVIEW installation directory, and
then manually copy the files installed in the other installation of LabVIEW.
The following list includes files and relevant directories. Copy all the files
These directories, including subdirectories, using the equivalent
paths related to the House LabVIEW directory for the target.

    \vi.lib\AddOns\Modulation\*.*
    \vi.lib\AddOns\NISML\*.*
    \examples\Modulation\*.*
    \resource\objmgr\NIMTAttribs.RC
    \resource\objmgr\NIMTAttribs.RCH
    \help\lvmod.txt
    \help\lvmod.chm
    \help\lvdmt.txt
    \help\lvdmt.chm

Note that this list does not include installed files. Also, copy
the files in this way is not equivalent to a complete installation in the
another version of LabVIEW. Especially own error text to the
Modulation Toolkit will not be updated and the example Finder ads will be
    the examples of Modulation Toolkit.

I have a yellow excalmation point on the network driver and currently do not have internet access. • How to install VMplayer 3 network for virtual machines to comminicate with each other?

    People,

    Hello. I use VMPlayer 3.

    SE host: Windows 7
Comments to: Windows XP and Oracle Linux 5

I need to set up the network and activate Windows XP communicate with Oracle Linux 5.

I followed this tutorial http://www.vmware.com/support/ws5/doc/ws_devices_serial_2vms.html to configure 2 virtual machines in Windows 7 host machine.

I tried to test 2 virtual machines in the way as below:

    In Linux, [user@localhost ~] $ping WindowsXP_HostName
    Release: Unknown host WindowsXP_HostName

At the Windows XP command prompt:
    C:\ping localhost.localdomain
Its release: ping localhost 127.0.0.1 with 32 bytes of data...
    Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128

He meets a few times and then disconnected by itself. It seems that Windows XP is ping itself and not Linux server. The host name of the Linux server is 'localhost' as well. It is a kind of confusion for me.

From the information above, we can see that 2 VMs cannot connect between them.

Can any folk provides a tutorial or example or case study to set VMPlayer 3 allowing 2 virtual machines communicate with each other by step?

    Very grateful in advance.

In the guest machine, all I see is click on VMplayer-> VM-> settings-> network-> Network adapter Connection-> select Bridged: directly connected to the physical network. After that, nothing to keep.

That's it for the network card in Virtual Machine of its parameters, and the rest is done to each guest at the guest OS level.

In Windows 7 host machine, I don't see anything first.

What we need to do is to assign 3 IP addresses to 3 machines: Win 7, Win XP Guest and Linux host.

Why the world can't bring you up Google in a browser and type, the ip static windows xp, then static ip rhea of windows 7 and finally static ip.  As I have already said there are more then enough tutorials on the Internet about how to configure a static IP address by a given operating system then I suggest you Google it!  It makes absolutely no sense to write the instructions step by step for you when there are already dozens of tutorials available on the internet.

  • How to install an office network share drive?

I would like to know what is the best way I can configure a share of office network drive so that everyone can access and store their working papers, so we're all on the same disc?

    Objective:
I want to the control user that has read/write access to the files on the shared disk, but I don't want to create a separate user on the host computer for each person. Also be able to access the drive via the vpn for home/away.
    Current configuration:
    Our network configuration:
Building (several companies housed under the same roof) > wired Ethernet > suite > router > 10-15 devices (computers laptops, computers, phones, printers, etc.) wireless
    Share drive host computer:
    -Ultimate windows 7
-Connect to a router via gigabit ethernet
-A a static ip address lan internal 192.168.1.xxx.
-1 TB drive on here to be used as a shared drive
-2 TB drive will be backup to a separate computer that is not used
All computers run windows 7 Professional/ultimate
Wireless router is also assigned a static ip address of the office building.
I don't want to use the homegroup, but perhaps workgroup would meet my needs? I can't currently office and vpn remote access into the host computer, but only one user can access the drive of course if they are not in the Office in this way.
I can map the drive network internally, but not outside. I re - map every time at home if I want to use the VPN.
Ideas or suggestions for this type of configuration, a NAS system?

It has been a few months since I've used the dial up, then all traveling and found no ethernet cable to connect I tried dial-up modem and it did not work and gave an error indicating that the modem was misconfigured or already in use.

If you look it seems that the modem has been configured to use COM3 port which does not list the Device Manager. I tried to change the COM11 com port which appeared as unused and then the window hung even if the rest of the laptop / XP worked.

I had to reboot the computer and found that Toshiba Software Modem has been installed is no longer.

I went on the site of drivers and downloaded the driver and tried to install it. He spent a few minutes updating the drivers, then the window is closed without any error message. Go to the modems Control Panel Add modem have driver and clicking on the file INF did nothing.

So, how do I return the Toshiba Software Modem and when I do what port should I assign to, also how can I know if all the COM ports are recognized?

    Hello
Have you ever tried to recover your machine and check if the modem works with a system installed recently and cool? I think it would be a quick and dirty because if you try to tinker in your maybe system it won´t work, no matter how much time you spend.

I mean, if you want to solve it quickly just try, maybe it s a software problem.

  • How to install XP on Toshiba laptops!

I struggled with this on my ct 3440 (w / a new 20 GB hd).

First of all, I gave up and installed variants of Linux (fedora and redhat), which has worked flawlessly!

It was therefore not a hardware problem.

But then I got tired of her, for me, unusable Linux and tried to gather information from the microsoft bulletin.

Seems the XP (and install 2000) tries to use an incompatible driver of HD during installation. Using a generic driver would do the trick, but I still know how to do this (by pressing F6 during installation, no doubt, but what to load?)

Toshiba could probably solve this problem if they come out of the specific HD drivers for laptops mentioned (are you reading this?).

I thought that perhaps 98 force drivers incompatible during installation, and I was right! :)

(If your connected to a PCMCIA cdrom, 98 installation does not work, you will need to copy - both - W98, XP CDs and CDROM XP drivers laptop HD using an adapter 1.8 "via a desktop computer.) (possibly another laptop with cdrom integrated))

Then - update - to XP to go 98 has worked without a hitch.

This seems to affect a large number of laptops, not only the series, Portege, but also some of the Satellites (I think).

    But the workaround works! :)

    Hello

You are absolutely right. Workaround works in some cases. In my view, that the installation of the OS should be made using restore CD. On this way, everyone will be sure that all the drivers and tools are installed correctly. The title of the topic should be how to install Windows XP Home edition on the old laptop Toshiba with new and bigger HARD drive. ;)

If you change some hardware components like HARD drive because of the restriction of the BIOS (for old models of laptops as 3440) can be a problem. It is also important that all the drivers and tools are designed for each OS and for each laptop model.

  • Re: How to install Windows on the new Satellite Pro C50 8.1?

I just bought a TOSHIBA SATELLITE PRO C50, that came with Windows 7 pre-installed.

When you start the system for the first time, I simply close and put Windows 8.1 media into the optical drive (disc 1 of 4) then entered the Recovery Wizard and may have chosen the wrong option, because I completely erase the hard drive and partitions.

Now that I did it, I can't find how to install the Windows Media Pro 4 DVD provided 8.1. I can't find the correct option to do this. I changed the startup option in the control panel by pressing F2 at startup, so it reads from the DVD player. The DVD starts but then takes me into a recovery area of the system, which is not good as I wiped the system completely.

How can I just now to install the Pro 8.1 provided Windows on the clean system right now?

    Thanks for any advice.

First, I would like to know what model of laptop you have exactly. If possible, please report the entire model number (C50-xxxxx). I just want to check the specification for this model of laptop.

Did you buy this laptop as any new product and model in box?

Anyway, if you have installation discs original recovery for this, you should be able to install it without problems. Start your laptop and press F12 to get into the boot menu. This menu wil shown on the screen, insert disc 1 into the optical disk drive, choose the CD/DVD drive from the menu, and then press ENTER.

ODD must start reading Wizard disk / recovery will be shown o the screen. Choose the option to install out-of-box / factory settings and just follow menu on the screen.

    Hello John

It is not easy to understand the whole situation, especially the part with the virus.
In my opinion, Windows XP Home edition installation should not be problematic.

What you need is Windows XP Home SP2 or SP3 and driver SATA edition disc. Without SATA driver disk HARD will be not visible to Windows XP Home edition.
