Toshiba PX1396U - 3T 01 stopped working recently
Good evening
I have a drive external hard (model above) who has recently stopped working. When trying to connect the hard drive of the computer hard drive flashes blue and does not allow access to content in files.
Any ideas what this could be? How should I do? I need urgent access to the files on it!
Thank you

Toshiba PX1396U - 3T 01 - not detected by PC
Hi all
I have a Toshiba PX1396U - 3T 01 1 to usb 2.0 external hard drive (food sector) that I bought in 2009.
Recently, during transfer of files from the hard drive to another, the green copy to neutral bar. So, naturally, I suspected a loose connexionUSB. I canceled the file transfer, make sure the usb plug is correctly in the port and turn off the external hard drive.
When switching on, external hard disk red light stays on for 1-2 minutes before turning blue and once it has turned blue, the disc is not spinning and the hard drive is not detected on the computer. I compared it with my toshiba 320 GB external hard drive (also supply by sector), its indicator turned blue immediately, and I can feel the spinning.
What could be wrong my external hard drive and how to retrieve the files contained in it?
Hello
If the HARD drive does not turn upwards, I think that the problem that it related to the HARD drive itself. You can test it on another computer but if it s not turn not not the problem is the HARD drive in my opinion.
I think you need to send the HARD drive to an authorized repair service provider. Guys can check your HARD drive and replace it with a new model if your HARD drive is still under warranty.

Toshiba laptop start registry error after manual stop
original title: Toshiba laptop start registry error after manual stop - HELP!
Hello, I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista. Yesterday it froze completely upward and I had to manually close (hold the power button until stop you him) twice. The second time when I tried to restart the came Toshiba screen, then the screen with the little scroll down bar, and then it went black, waited for a while, then flashes a bluescreen with a written up VERY quickly and cycles back to the Toshiba screen. This time after the scroll bar it gives me white saying the writing system could not restart, and I want to start normally or startup repair. If I restart it through loading files, trying to fix it and said then he wasn't able to fix it and when I look at the details there something on a registry error.
I really need to solve this problem quickly and desperately want to save all my files if possible because it's our main Mobile family that has all our digital photos on it and they are not saved. (I know, terrible of us). Can someone help me?
Thank you
Charity
Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.
Restore point:
Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.
Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html
Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
Data recovery:
1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.
2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.
3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:
http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html
Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
Download the Vista software from the link above.
After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
See you soon.

my system does not start upwards - don't stop progression blue bar that goes round and round. I can boot into safe mode and safe mode with networking mode.
Hello
As you are able to boot to the desktop in Mode safe, it means that the third-party application prevents the computer from starting in normal mode. To check you can configure the computer to clean start State and then try to boot into normal mode and check what is happening. To set up its own start-up follow the link below.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353
If the problem does not continues when the computer is in the clean start State follow the steps listed to identify which application is causing the problem.
Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7 article to start on normal startup.
Hope this information is useful.

Cause
A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high.
This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.
If the first parameter has the same value as the fourth parameter, and the third parameter indicates a runtime operation, this bug check was probably caused by a driver who was trying to run code when the code itself has been paginated outside. The possible causes for the error page are:
- The function was marked as pageable and was operating at an IRQL higher (including obtaining a lock).
- The function call was made to a function in another pilot, and that this driver has been unloaded.
- The function was called by using a function pointer that was an invalid pointer.

Good evening
I have a drive external hard (model above) who has recently stopped working. When trying to connect the hard drive of the computer hard drive flashes blue and does not allow access to content in files.
Any ideas what this could be?
Thank you
Hello
In my opinion, it could be a HARD drive maybe it's broken s malfunction
You can try to remove the HARD drive casing HARD drive and that can connect to the computer using an external HARD disk controller. Maybe it would work otherwise I put t see another option to access this HARD drive -
Toshiba Canvio basic 500 GB its suddenly stopped working

Each HARD disk belongs to "wear".
What does that mean? Well, sooner or later each HARD drive is going to die... and in most cases, these questions appear suddenly and are surprising.This HARD drive is a device of simple plug ' n play... This means that you have to connect it to the USB port and it should work...
If this is not the case, the unit may malfunction and usually it is not repairable. -

Hi, I just bought a book10x2 slate pc, running android 4.3 model number 10-h000sa.
I really like it, but at startup I get the message "Unfortunately google game stopped" if I click ok it goes and the Tablet works fine.
Someone has any suggestions how to solve this problem?
Thank you
Hey @paterdale ,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that you are having problems with the Google game store crashing on your tablet.
When this happens the most common fix is to uninstall the updates to the app Store Play and clear its cache as well as the cache of Google Services to play.
To do this, go to settings > storage > Apps > Google game store > press the button uninstall and confirm updates. Press the button clear cache.
Go back and select the Google app play Services clears the cache on that as well.
Restart your Tablet and let me know if it works.
