Toshiba Satellite L450D-13D cannot install OS

I can not install any OS on my laptop toshiba, I scanned the HDD for errors on my desk, but he says that he is in perfect state of 100% I have reset the bios to defaults of the toshiba recovery media insterted and it froze on the windows screen even start for windows xp - vista - 7-8-10 - Linux the only thing that seems to start a gui are the GParted (on Windows and the CD bootloader I have only the BSOD and on linux gparted apart form weird artifacts (GPU and CPU, RAM and HARD drive are very good))

You probably did, but anyway.

Have been in the right format for Windows HARD disk partition?
Have you tried to install Windows 7 from an ISO specially designed for the OEM version?
(such as 64-bit or 32-bit, but the language version could be you)

    Thanks a lot steve!

In general you can swap the HARD drive or update it with more a (ability), but the installation of recovery should work. It is important to use compatible HARD drive for certain system.
I did several times in the past. No problem at all.

After HDD change the value of the BIOS default settings and start recovery installation using created the recovery disc.

Start your laptop and when you see Toshiba welcome screen pres F12 repeatedly to enter the boot menu.
When the menu is displayed on the screen, put the recovery DVD in the optical disc drive.
In the menu choose you CD/DVD and press ENTER.
    Installation of recovery should start.

Please do so and send feedback.

  • Can satellite A350-13D - I install Vista 64-bit?

    Hello
(sorry, I can't speak English very well, sorry if I write to you with its imperfections)

3 days ago, I bought a Toshiba Satellite A350-13D. It has 4 GB of RAM, but Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit is installed. The computer can use only 3 GB.

I can't install Vista Home Premium 64-Bit to use all of the RAM (4 GB)? Where can I download the driver for my computer?

    Thanks for your help :)
    Good day

    Hello!

Of course, you can install Windows Vista 64 bit, why not? What do you think?

On the Toshiba site I can find all the drivers for Vista 64 bit on Satellite A350 so it should all work properly with Vista 64. Check yourself:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

But note there are two different BIOS versions One available for 32-bit and one for 64-bit. After installation of Vista 64-bit, you must refresh the BIOS too.

    Good bye

  • NOON on a Toshiba Satellite L450D

    Hello
I have a Toshiba Satellite L450D, Windows 7, with a standard sound card using the Realtek chip running an ALC272 codec and the version of the driver 6.0.1.5904. I am using an interface of drumpad trigger (Trigger IO trigger-to-midi USB interface) with my laptop, Toontrack and EZdummer Lite software.

For the Trigger IO user's guide it's a plug-and-play device that will automatically be recognized once it is plugged into the USB port. the software should then I would select and activate the Trigger IO as a MIDI input.

When I connect the Trigger IO is recognized and the drivers are loaded OK. Toontrack recognizes it as a MIDI device IN (in the Options/MIDI devices section) but when I click on the drop down menu of EZD 1 on the mixer slider, does not show anything when I click on the MIDI device menu option.

Is it a sound card problem, a problem of driver or something else? HELP, please.

In my opinion, you should contact the manufacturer of the product (Alesis) support and ask for help. They can help you with this. Toshiba does not support the third party devices.

If I understand you right, USB port works properly so there is no reason to contact Toshiba.

  • Satellite C50-B-13D - cannot install display driver

    Hello

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite C50-B-13D. I had to reinstall my OS Windows 7 Professional 32 Bit. Now, I have a problem with the drivers. For example, I can't install the display driver. After that I give the permission to make changes on my computer, the error message "this computer is unresponsive to the minimum requierments to install this software. Does anyone know what I can do?

As I'm not mistaken Satellite C50-B-13D does not dedicated GPU, but the laptop was equipped with the Intel Celeron CPU of N2830 supporting the Intel HD Graphics 4000

If you need to install the display driver Intel HD 4000.

Usually, you have two possibilities to install the driver.
You can run the installation.exe (setup.exe) file, or you install the driver in Device Manager. I recommend you to choose option 2 in the case where the standard procedure done functions.

The Toshiba UE driver page driver must be decompressed.
You will find in the folder display-20140528122046 the TC40214900E.exe
It is a zipped file. Right-click this file and choose "unzip here".
Now, you will get another folder TC40214900E where you will find all the driver (dll) files.

Next step: go to the Device Manager, choose graphics card, and then click the driver update/installation
Now choose the "Advanced" installation option and point to the folder of the unzipped driver.
The system will get the files automatically, and you can complete the installation.

    That's all.

  • Satellite Pro A120 - cannot install recovery disc

    Hi - I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro A120 PSAC1E-04H00VEN model number

It was less his hard drive and I posted previously to try a 160 GB drive without success. I thought that the drive may be defective, so I have now acquired a 120 GB drive. It is not new, but assured me that it works. However, it does not work in this laptop! As before (with the disk 160), when I try to install it using the Toshiba restore disc, the operation just sticks on the "Please wait..." message. "for 30 minutes then the machine shuts down. Assuming that the hard drive is ok there at - it something more, that I can do to determine the problem with this laptop?

FYI, this is what happens after installing the hard drive:
I turn it on and get this message: NTLDR is missing. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to restart.
I insert the product recovery disc, put off and then again when you press F12.
I get a soft Purring over the Toshiba logo. I select the CD/DVD symbol and get a short message saying: the installer inspects the hardware configuration of your computer.
I then get RAMDISK image loading... which takes less than 2 minutes.
I then get a short message saying: from Windows Preinstallation Environment. Press F6 if you need to install a third-party RAID or SCSI driver...
I then get it please wait... and after 10 seconds, the fan goes into overdrive! This Carry on during 30 minutes with him please wait... message, then the laptop turns off automatically.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thank you.

    Hi Lapitup,

Before you buy another HARD drive, you need to test a different installation disk you have already tried the two hard disks with the same problem so I think that the problem is not HARD drive itself

If you have a normal installation disc of Windows, you can install Windows on this drive. So you can check if the recovery disk works properly or not. Theoretically, the disc could be wiped off so that the files cannot be read properly.

In the worst cases, some of the material is affected. Then, you need professional help of an authorized service provider.

  • Satellite Pro L500 - cannot install the Realtek LAN driver

    Hi all

I got a Satellite Pro L500 Windows 7 pro with disk created from computers, cell phones, but now cannot install a Realtek LAN driver for the laptop.

The installation of the driver software program doesn't seem to work properly all the time, tried several times to install with only once a realtek 'repair' option becomes available.
When I managed to install the driver I got an error "the device couldn't start. After restoring I also had problems with a "controller driver simple communication PCL.
which seems to have been an Intel MEI according to the SAT, DEV info displayed in the information systems.

If these problems are linked and how to install the driver required in an automated system if the system does not correctly detects hardware?

    Hi Milad,
Did you get the new driver from the web site of Toshiba or others.

The graphics card in your laptop is not necessarily compatible with the latest drivers from the manufacturer, simply because it is specially designed for your laptop. Usually only the drivers supplied by Toshiba works correctly.

  • Satellite L655-145 cannot install the bluetooth stack

Cannot install bluetooth stack. Just Setup freeze. All other drivers installed successfully. Device Manager only show Bluetooth ACPI device. This problem appeared after the update of the BIOS of the original version 1.80 to more older (1.80-1.90-2.10-2.20 > > >). Downgrade from 1.80 take no effect.

PS. Sorry for my bad English.

    Hello

As far as I know the laptop is equipped with WIFI and Bluetooth combo card!
This means that Wlan and BT functionality is controlled by a single card.

If you BIOS outsider (don t know why) Please put failing first.
Save the changes and reboot the laptop.

Then download the BT BT Toshiba stack.
Activate BT (FN + F8), then launch the installation of battery BT once more.

    Hi mate

    You said:
    > However, when I download the 'power saver' among the official website of toshiba, I was not able to install.

First of all this laptop seems to belong to the Canadian series of Toshiba and if you want to use any tools Toshiba, then you will have to download it from the page of the Canadian driver Toshiba!

In addition, you can choose the drivers and tools exactly for the PSAA8C series.
In many cases, you will not be able to use the tools that are designed for other series!
We must therefore be sure that power saver downloaded has been released for the series PSAA8C.

    Welcome them

  • Satellite M70 - CLI - cannot install display or SM Bus controller driver

    Hello

I have a Satellite M70 - cli PSM73C-CL100E and I got a new hard drive and loaded Windows xp. I went on the Toshiba site and downloaded and installed all the drivers. I have no problem with the wifi atheros, the sound, modem or chipset drivers. I also updated the bios v2.10 all successfully.

The problem is with the video card. I used huntersoft program and know that the chipset is an ATI. He also says it's an ATIradeon xpress 200 m with 128 MB DDR shared video. When I try and install the ATI driver it says Setup could not complete the installation. Try to configure your graphics card with the standard vga driver.

I spent hours on the net. I tried the ATI L30 XP driver and it does the same thing. I tried the driver ATI radeon xpress 200 m and it says not found material. I don't have the original CD I know he works as the old drive worked fine. Unfortunately, I wiped as well to put in a laptop more old. I should have gotten the drivers out of it. :(

Does anyone have an idea? It drives me crazy! Thanks for any help. Marilyn

    Hi mjmx4,

How have you tried to install the display driver?

Normally, you can install the driver (screen) If you run the setup.exe file that comes with the driver package. Follow the instructions on the screen thanks to the installation of the driver, the driver will be installed.

Alternative you can install the driver if you go to Device Manager and right click on the graphics card. Choose update driver and use advanced installation where you can choose the directory and the driver yourself.

By the way: before starting with the installation of the driver, you must install Service Pack 3 for XP.

Have you tried to install the driver to display on the Toshiba site? You can find it here:

Before you try to install a new display driver, you must remove any old version in Add/Remove programs. Then, restart the laptop and use CCleaner to clean the system. Restart again and then install the new version.

You have the same problem with the factory settings? In the worst case, you must reinstall Windows using Toshiba recovery disc.

    Hello

Which Intel graphics card has been installed on your laptop?
It's an Intel 852GME 16 to 64 MB shared memory graphics card?

I found friendly informative on the Intel page and it seems that the material of the graphics card does not support DirectX9, but only the DirextX7 and the DirecttX8

The graphics driver for the Intel page will not help you.
First of all you will not be able to install it because it s is not designed for the use of computer Toshiba laptop and secondly the hardware does not support.

But I give you advice if you are looking for an earlier version of the driver.
Some laptops use the same graphics card. Try to find the driver in series of various Notebooks with the same graphic card.
But the new facility is going to change anything. The DirectX 9 API is not supported
