Toshiba value added Package for Windows Vista Version 1.1.3 on Qosmio F45

I installed the new * Toshiba value added Package for Windows Vista Version 1.1.3 * for my Qosmio F45-AV413 and function keys was arrested for work.

If I don't go back to the previous system, there is no action that I can do to make the works of buttons again.

I tested with Vista Home Premium which is installed with the product, tested with Vista Business from scratch, and none of them work as expected.

Well, if someone could help me with this question I really thank you,

Marcelo.

Have you already tried to install an earlier version of the software function button on your system? I think the new version is buggy and if not already a newer version is released, you should have the old version until a new one comes out.

Please check if the old version works, it shouldn´t be a big problem for the single download from the Toshiba driver download site.

See you soon

    Hello

After reading [here | http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=103556] that there is a problem with the keyboard shortcuts no longer work after the upgrade to the 'Toshiba value added package' in * Qosmio F45 * models, let me ask you if someone have correctly installed the latest version of the software (1.1.7) and have no problem with the keys.

I just installed SP1 on my system Vista Premius. Should I wait for problems with PPV?

    I'd appreciate your help.

    Alfredo

Just a short comment: version 1.1.7 is designed and tested with Vista without SP1. If you use it with SP1, you may have some problems. To avoid this Toshiba has to offer the new version. This new version will run in the new images of recovery (Vista SP1). After that it will be offered on the Toshiba support page.

Qosmio F45 is probably US laptop model and for all information visit Toshiba US page http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_home.jsp

I have problem a Toshiba value added package.

When I use WIN7 by Toshiba NB recovery system, the display language after pressing the Fn key is correct (Chinese).

But I want to reinstall Win7 clean by myself, so I copy the drivers and utilities all my USB storage and install Win7 clean.
After I installed Win7 (Chinese), I installed all the drivers and utilities.
After installation, value added package and restarting, the main Fn works normally.
But the language of the display key Fn is English, it is not Chinese.
I reinstall value-added package severial times, but it also to display the text in English.
How can I change the language of the package adding value?

    Thank you very much!!!

    Stand by.
Where have you bought your laptop (COUNTRY)?

AFAIK, you must use the drivers offered on the Toshiba support page offered to the country of purchase. On this page, you should be able to get the version on some languages.

  • Satellite A200-1DY - need added package for Vista 64-bit

I can't find t value added package for 64-bit vista in any web update from Toshiba and I need because I installed the 64-bit version of Vista. It works fine but I need VAP and it seems that there is not.
Why Toshiba don't have PPV for vista 64?

Seems that the Toshiba VAP is not available for this model of laptop.
    Why? Who knows. ?:|

But from my experience, Toshiba VAP contains some applications that control certain features of the laptop as FN keys for example.

It seems that these applications have been outsourced and you can download it separately.
    For example this:
    _Flash cards support utility 1.48.0.3C_
This tool is required to use the Toshiba Flash Cards (FN + F *)

    Hello

Before that you can use the FN keys and other special functions that you need to install Toshiba Value added Package.
My question is: have you downloaded the package of value added for Satellite L40 (PSL40E) and Windows 7 32 bit? It s is already available for the new Windows 7:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

You have installed the drivers first? They must be installed first normally, e. g. chipset, screen, sound, LAN driver, etc.

  • How to find a decoder dvd for windows Vista Home Basic

Somehow I uninstalled windows media player, which comes with its original packaging for windows vista

Microsoft Mr. FixIt has identified the problem and suggested that I visit this site to find a dvd decoder

Can someone help me please. I'm not a computer expert

    Best regards

Vista Home Basic does not include a DVD decoder.
But you can buy a DVD decoder at the following link:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Info about DVD decoders:
    Plug-ins for Windows Media Player

Or you can download and use one of the following freeware
    media players:

    VLC Media Player

    (works on XP/Vista/7)

    Media Player Classic Home Cinema
    http://MajorGeeks.com/Media_Player_Classic_Home_Cinema_d6213.html
    (works on XP/Vista/7)

Or... you can try to download and install one of the
    Following codec packs.

(FWIW... it is always preferable, if you create a system restore
point before installing any software or updates).

  • Toshiba value added logical and device for general use - what is it?

    Hello

I completely put in place a new system on the Tecra S2, Win XP and everything. All the drivers from the site Web of Toshiba helped but now only a single 'questionmark' remains in the hardware Manager:

Toshiba added value to general use and logical device

I cannot find a driver anywhere or so for that. What is it indeed?
The laptop works fine, no problem.

    Greetings,
    Ben

I think it is (among other things) an ACPI driver...
and you can download it-I remember...
don't forget the 'value added package' and 'common modules' to install
