    I have a similar machine, no internet connected, motionless and you can buy dongle data to update.

    Update history was only 3 months or more.

    Or is it possible to download it on my machine and then transfer?

    Hi John,.

    We are here to answer your questions regarding for Windows Update.

    To find the total size of the file all updates that Windows has downloaded to your machine, you can first check all updates installed. After that, you can find its corresponding size in our Catalog Microsoft Update (using the Internet Explorer browser).

    Follow the steps below to view all the updates that are installed on your device:

    1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
    2. Under the Control Panel, set the view by small icons , and then click Windows Update.
    3. Click installed updates.

    You can also manually download Windows Update from the Microsoft Update Catalog and save it in an external storage device and transfer it to your device to another.

    Updates can be classified as an option or Important. Updates option would differ usually from one device to the other. This is why we suggest that you check the list of Windows Update available through our Catalog Microsoft Update.

    From the Windows Update Catalog, you can check the updates of Windows has rolled out over the past 10 months, or whatever the date you prefer and download those of a machine can install on another. Make sure you also, filter it and download only updates classified as critical update, update , and the update rollup. Other classifications of updates may vary from one machine to the other, so we recommend you to download those directly on your machine.

  • How to view the total size of the items removed in the trash?

    I am using windows 7 Home premium. In the trash, I see the folders and individual files sizes in Details view. But when I select more than two folders, I don't see the combined folder or the size of the file of the two. The preview pane is useless because it does not show the size of recycle bin points, just the size of the currently selected item in the bin.

    Is there a way to look at the total size of multiple selected items in the trash?
    Also under XP, hovering above the bin used to give the size in ToolTip. The trash in 7 shows something like that.
    7 basket is not as good as that of XP. There seems to have a few steps backward in the stage of evolution instead of moving forward.

    Another way to display the total size of all items in the trash...

    1. in the Folder Options, enable the display of hidden files and folders, as well as protected operating system files.
    2 - Go to your C: drive, open the folder $Recycle.Bin, then right-click and choose Properties from the Recycle Bin icon that see you.
    This indicates the total size.

    I used the D drive for data, total size of the file (including system files and hidden) is only a fraction of the capacity of 138 GB. Can I fix? I already run the disk check.

  • The "64K limit for the total size of all the values in a registry key" rule - not more valid?

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/256986
    - more information -> Description of the register article, it is said:

    Note There is a 64K limit for the total size of all values of a key.

    I don't see that this rule can be valid any longer?

    In my Windows 7 SP1 x 64, I have at least 15 keys with values that add up to more than 65 535 bytes.
    In fact, I have more than 15 values (strings, binary and multiple channels) which, by themselves, have some sizes larger than 65 535 bytes.

    Here are a few examples.

    Native Instruments Kontakt 5 installation;
    [HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\B354255567BB3E5479D39FE554E87D08\Features]
    -This key contains 91 string values, where 90 are under 250 bytes, but the last of them. "FE923650A" has a length of 67 401 bytes of data.

    Autodesk 3ds Max Design 2011 installation;
    [HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\FFECC85A69B39040E99BEA59BF78957B\Features]
    -This key contains 14 values of string, ranging from 1 (the 'P' value) byte to 75 426 bytes (value "max7"), bringing the total size of 116 944 bytes.

    Installation of Windows 7 by default.
    [HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\AppCompatCache]
    -This key contains a binary value of monkey 'AppCompatCache' that has a length of 259 768 bytes of data.

    Another installation of Windows 7 by default;
    [HKLM NT\CurrentVersion\Perflib\CurrentLanguage]
    -This key contains 2 channels multiple values: 'Meter' (87 950 bytes) and 'Help' (418 345 bytes), a total of 506 295 bytes for this key.

    Finally, once again Windows 7 installation by default.
    [HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StartPage2]
    -This key contains 3 DWORD and 5 binary values with the value "ProgramsCache" being the most important of all with its 795 404 bytes
    either a sum of 807 639 bytes for this key.

  • vRO presentation: return the total size of the disk of the virtual machine

    Hi guys,.

    I have a catalog item to extend a drive, which is presented to the vRA advanced services and picks up the vRO workflow. For this reason, the default IaaS vRA no between not affecting resource management. So I would limit the end-users to a maximum size of the virtual machine - that is to say, if the size + total size they intended to expand is > to a specific size, then the workflow will report this.

    I wrote the following code to return the total of all the disks that are attached to a machine. Then, it comes to the tab Presentation vRO to fill the discs max value. It works fine when I use the code as a workflow and connect the output. However, vRO presentation does not return a value any. Anyone had similar problems or I made a stupid mistake and missed something?

    var total = 0;

    size var = new Array();

    var features = vm.config.hardware.device;

    var h = 0;

    for (var i in devices) {}

    If (devices [i] instanceof VcVirtualDisk) {}

    size [h +] = [i] devices, .capacityInKB / 1024 / 1024;

    Total += devices [i] .capacityInKB / 1024 / 1024;

    }

    }

    return to the total;

    Thank you

  • In the use of space Audit why are my fonts such a large percentage of the total size of the file?

    In the use of space Audit why are my fonts such a large percentage of the total size of the file?

    4 MB of an interactive file 6 MB (71% of the total file size).

    I'm only using Verdana.

    In this case the problem is not one of the fields have the police other than Helvetica. All fields are buttons, and all use the Verdana font in their appearances (icons), as opposed to their labels (aka Legend). This is how InDesign works when it generates the appearance for the buttons. As a result, that Verdana is incorporated several times as a subset, more than 300 times, once by button. This includes a lot of overhead, so that you get the size of large file.

    It would be much smaller than that you need to add buttons in Acrobat, even if you've used Verdana. In this case, the entire police would get embedded, but only once. It would take more work, but the process can be automated, if you need to do this sort of thing a lot.

  • List of total size of all the vmdk on a virtual machine in the UK

    What is the best way to enumerate the total size of all the vmdk attached to a virtual machine in the UK?  (If the virtual machine has RDM (RDM mode virtual or physical), that I need to include these RDMS in total)

    Thank you!

    Something like that

    Get-VM | Measure-Object -Property UsedSpaceGB -Sum |Select -ExpandProperty Sum

  • find the total size of the VM on specific data warehouses

    Hello

    PowerCLI guru, I'm not...

    I'm just using the following to get the total size of the virtual machine.

    Get-vmhost < host name, host name >. get - vm | Select-Object Name, UsedSpaceGB

    The problem is some of these VMS are on 15 k drive and some are over 10 k drive, is there a way to add the data store name each virtual machine is located at the exit. Seeing the data store name that I can know easily what typre of disc it is average.

    Currently, she is just out

    vmname size

    -----------        ------

    ABC 123

    Here you are:

    vmname datastore vmsize

    -----------     -------------   --------

    ABC xyz - 567 123

    Thank you

    The following PowerCLI script you will show the name, data warehouses and space used for all virtual machines:

    Get-VM | Select-Object -Property Name,
    @{Name="Datastores";Expression={
      [string]::Join(',',($_.DatastoreIDList |
        ForEach-Object { Get-View -id $_ |
        ForEach-Object {$_.Name}}) )
    }},

  • How to find the total size of the RMAN backup files?

    Hello

    env: Oracle 10 g 2, RHEL 64 bit

    My customer has a production database where rman backups are taken: level 0 backup every Sunday and level 1, Monday to Saturday.

    I have very limited access to this database of production because it is managed by a third party, and they don't give me my required info (don't know why). I don't have access to the rman repository. To connect to the database that I have to connect to a staging server, then connect to the database server. I have no access to Enterprise Manager. So in short, my access is limited. I want to collect information on the total size of the files of rman backup - both for level 1 to level 0 backups separately. I understand that this info can be retrieved from the rman repository. Is there a dictionary views/tables of data where I can get this info?

  • How do I know the total size of the site

    How do I know the total size of all the files in my site?

    Window "Files" Dreamweaver gives the sizes of individual files in the site, but it would be useful to know the size of all the files combined.

    I appreciate that you can use Windows Explorer or similar, but it would be more practical to do so directly in Dreamweaver.

    Thank you.

    The easiest way would be to get information or check the properties on the folder root of your operating system.

    As far as I know, there is no way to do it within DW itself.

  • Script to collect the VM name and total size on disk

    I'm trying to find a script that will display the following information:

    • Name of the virtual machine
    • The total size of the VM (vmdk)

    I thought I saw one here before, but can't seem to find it anywhere.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    You get the error by using the function, because the function expects an object of VMware.VimAutomation.ViCore.Impl.V1.Inventory.VirtualMachineImpl and you give a VMware.Vim.VirtualMachine object. If you change your part of the code in:

    # Connect to VIServer
    Connect-VIServer $VIServer

    #Initialise Array
    $Report = @()

    # Gather VM Size Information
        $AllVMs = Get-VM
        ForEach ($vm in $AllVMs){
                $Size = Get-VmSize($vm)
            }
            $Report += $Size

    $Report | Export-Csv "C:\VMDiskSize.csv"

    # Disconnect from VIServer
    Disconnect-VIServer $VIServer -Confirm:$False

    He will not give an error. But this does not also give the desired output because it will give you the total size of the disk of all virtual machines.

    You get the expected result:

    # Connect to VIServer
    Connect-VIServer $VIServer

    #Initialise Array
    $Report = @()

    # Gather VM Size Information
    $AllVMs = Get-VM
    ForEach ($vm in $AllVMs){
        $Row = "" | Select-Object VM,Size
        $Row.VM = $vm.Name
        $Row.Size = (Get-VmSize($vm))/1GB
        $Report += $Row
    }

    $Report | Export-Csv "C:\VMDiskSize.csv"

    # Disconnect from VIServer
    Disconnect-VIServer $VIServer -Confirm:$False
