Touch screen compatibility Quickbooks POS Point of sale system

Our company has two HP Touchsmart 610 computers. The touch screen of the device of the workstation works fine, however, it will not work on the server. It is only with the Intuit (Quickbooks) POS Point of sale program 10.0.

There must be a way to recover it, if anyone has had this problem, or know how or what to download to make it compatible. Perhaps, I deleted something at some point - No. CLUE!  Thank you.

What will work restores your computer to its original factory state using HP recovery media.  It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs.  You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

The link is on the software page and download drivers for your PC: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-Notebook-PC-series/7137590/model/7484025

Once there, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see an entry for the command Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click on the symbol '+' to expand this entty and click on order to press for more details.

Or, if you prefer, you can do the same by contacting HP Customer Service:

  • I use the touch screen of Windows 8, and after that I use it, my mouse pointer disappears

My problem is similar to other positions, but not exact.

When I use the touch screen of my computer in windows 8, the mouse disappears and does not come up until I restart the computer.  After the restart, if I use the touch screen, even once, the needle does not again.

    Hi Tony,.

This problem is caused due to conflicts of device, you will not be able to use the touch cursor when a mouse is connected. You will be able to tap on the touch keyboard, but when you scroll or drag the mouse cursor disappears. I suggest you to disable one of the device and check if it helps.

To disable the touch screen, refer to the following steps:

    a. click the Start button and click Control Panel.

    b. access the material and audio.

    c. click Pen and Touch.

    d. click on the contact tab.

    (e) uncheck the box use the finder as input, this disables touch and stylus.

Otherwise, you will need to disconnect the mouse.

Please reply with the status of the issue so that we can better help you.

  • HP 2310 T have pressure-sensitive touch screen?

I'm sorry for my bad English in advance.

  • Satellite S50t-B touch screen no longer works

    Hello

My partner bought a S50t-B Satellite probably 5-6 months and everything worked perfectly, until she had a few updates to windows that has happened, and now the touch HID compatible drivers are apparently disabled in Device Manager?

The touch screen no longer works, and I've pretty much exhausted all the options I could think.

I tried to reinstall windows, apply all updates via the service center, I can't find the drivers for the touch screen on the support Web site downloads section and the bios etc is all to date.

I was hoping someone could shed some light on how to proceed with this issue, since the main reason, she bought there the touch screen function.

    Thanks, Keegan

I don't have any idea what system you have installed, but if the laptop was equipped with touch screen, additional drivers for touchscreen are not necessary.
If touch screen is working properly, the Windows (Win 8.1) should detect it automatically.

What Satellite S50t-B-ooo do you excatly?
From my point of few, the laptop must be set to settings factory just to check if its really a software related issue... so I wonder why you do not use HARD drive recovery or recovery media to restore the laptop to factory settings?

  • Satellite R10-101: touch screen does not work in tablet mode

    Hello

    I just bought a Satellite R10-101 laptop / tablet.

The machine didn't come with a stylus, so I'm not sure if the touchscreen works or not.

When the machine is in tablet mode touch screen is unresponsive to a contact with a finger. I tried a pointing device of a Windows CE handheld that has a touch screen, but it does not work on the touch screen of the R10.

The touchscreen should be enabled or that I have to get a Toshiba stylus?

The computer is running Windows XP Tablet Edition. Will I get the same functionally if I update to Windows 7. Material of the R10 is compatible with Win 7?

Thank you for any help or advice.

    Hello

The display panel works as a touch sensitive digitizer screen.
You need the stylus to use the touch screen in tablet mode.

I think you can order the stylus lack of authorized partner Toshiba in your country or google for part numbers: P000407550 or P000445420

I bought this laptop from Saudi Arabia and it is still under warranty but I am out of country, so I can't ask the warranty as well.

someone please fix this and tell me the solution, or tell me what I need to do?

    Help will be really appreciated.
    some details on my laptop:

    Toshiba Satellite U920T-B919.
    Windows 8.1 updated 64-bit.

    Thank you

Since you mentioned different problems with your laptop, I think that in this case its recommended to get the laptop back to factory settings just to check if all these problems are related to the problem of system.

Regarding the webcam: Windows 8/8.1 already contains the webcam drivers and therefore additional webcam driver installation isn t possible. Extra webcam driver is not simply.

From my point of few smells of any description as a bit of a problem of material, the upper part of the slide where the touch screen is part of.
The key win as well that the two cams are located and there are probably some lose the connection between the two parties (touchscreen and keyboard)

Anyway, as I said more top, its recommended to recover the laptop to factory settings just to make sure that the system isn t the troublemaker.
In case of hardware problems, you must get in touch service available in your country.

  • Touch screen compatible

The touch screen Asus VT207N is compatible with Macs and El captain?

    https://www.ASUS.com/commercial-monitors/VT207N/

If not, why the *? Wake up Apple you lose the train once again.

    I'm sorry what?

Since when is a computer company responsible for the compatibility of 3rd party add ons like screens with the products they do?

It's like Ford waits to make sure that every single after that market radio there working in the cars there. They have no reason to do so. Its place on the radio to the ot make sure they fit in cars, they are intended.

I doubt that Microsoft has even made at all somehow.   Belong to the author of the screen to make it compatible with any operating system or platform, he hopes that his will be used with. .

That said, unless it requires special drivers, this should work if it translates into the touchscreen for mouse input.
