Touch screen (S2240T) on Win 7
Just installed a S2240T on Windows 7 and drivers updated to the last. Having some problems:
(1) in order to 'touch' at work, it seems that 'Dell Touchpad' program (in Control Panel-> hardware and sound control) must be executed. As soon as I close (with registration) touch is disabled.
(2) in a multi-screen configuration, all key events are compared to the main screen. So, if the S2240T is configured as a secondary touchscreen events occur in the wrong place.
(3) I have here a way to get rid of the mouse image that appears on the screen whenever you touch it? It is very distracting. The monitor should be used to give demos and so I need to get rid of him.
Appreciate any help!

Windows 8.1 updated 64-bit.Thank you
Since you mentioned different problems with your laptop, I think that in this case its recommended to get the laptop back to factory settings just to check if all these problems are related to the problem of system.
Regarding the webcam: Windows 8/8.1 already contains the webcam drivers and therefore additional webcam driver installation isn t possible. Extra webcam driver is not simply.
From my point of few smells of any description as a bit of a problem of material, the upper part of the slide where the touch screen is part of.
The key win as well that the two cams are located and there are probably some lose the connection between the two parties (touchscreen and keyboard)Anyway, as I said more top, its recommended to recover the laptop to factory settings just to make sure that the system isn t the troublemaker.
In case of hardware problems, you must get in touch service available in your country. -
Touch screen not working not not after upgrade from 8.1 to win
I have a PC HP Envy product number X 2 C2K61UA #ABA now Win 8.1 32 bit running. After the upgrade is installed, the screen no longer meets a contact. On the other hand, the touchpad works.
Masters,
Welcome to the HP Forum.
I just went through this process on my own want of X 2 and the touch screen is OK after the upgrade.
Something that I've done that maybe makes the difference: I have day all driver sets for Windows 8.1 before the upgrade. Pilots have been out for awhile; the drivers for the 8.1 are also compatible with Windows 8 update was possible before installing the Windows 8.1 operating system.
I had also stripped most of my personal computer programs: I refresh the system using a customized several months back Image, which included only a relatively bare installation and installation of Microsoft Office standard packages. I left installed HP SimplePass (I use a device of fingerprinter USB with this computer) and my photo editing software that has been designed for Windows 7 which was SO painful to install that I decided to take the risk of letting up. Those who survived.
The stripped upgrade Firefox and Chrome (no biggie), Flash, Kindle, various programs and the old OneDrive files the installer for Windows 8 and a couple of obsolete Broadcom drivers.
- If you not already have, update all your drivers from the website of media from your computer. You can always reinstall the drivers - if they have already been installed, you can select "Yes to all" and reinstall / reload the packages during the installation. Restart the computer after installation.
- You must run also immediately the Windows updates to 8.1 after the upgrade - there is not zillions of updates, but there are several critical fixes that you do not want to get on the system.
Changes
Content deleted from here about RemovedApps - it was not correct for this context.
- If you find that the question is one of the 'lost files', structure pilot, lost 'something' - lost-at so you can get in C:\Windows.old offending data / missing. You have 28 days from the date of the upgrade. I'm not sure of the type of 'time bomb' built into the data - you might be able to actually prevent lost data by copying to an external drive if you really want to keep.
I hope this helps.

3 1030 black - no touch screen after winning 10 Clean only install
Hello
After updating my 3 black Win 8.1 to win 10, I did a clean install to win 10 birthday updated using the tool of media.
Now, the touch screen no longer works. Everything looks fine in Device Manager, but some devices are past next (screen tactile and audio).
I guess there's a few missing drivers, but how do I know exactly which ones that the device is still not listed under Device Manager?
Thanks in advance for your help. The Tablet is still under warranty.

S2240T, the touch screen does not work
I just bought this monitor and it displays correctly what should be, but it does nothing when I touch it. I have the USB cable connecting my monitor to my computer. My OS is Windows 8.1. In my view, it is possible that it must be installed for the contact to work, but the disc (and documentation) that it comes with a driver is very little used for this. The driver on the disk I installed seems just for display, no contact.
I had to reset my computer all Win8.1
I have the touchscreen Dell P2314T (VGA) also has worked well since I bought the new optiplex and monitors. When I reinstall my system it di does not work.
I have unplugged all connections to the back of the monitor and was able then to recalibrate and set the touch screen and now it works fine.
THUS, it does not work with Win 8.1
but should be the last recognized maybe or just USB connection need to be re added as if it were a new device to the modified system.

Acer ft200hql touch screen does not work w / HP Pavilion dv7-5000, Win 7 Pro 64-bit
After searching for and buying touch screen FT200HQL, it does work with my HP Pavilion laptop dv7-5000, Windows 7, 64-bit. I have the USB cable is connected (even if it says that it is optional in user's Guide - not an option if you want the touchscreen to work). I tried it with an Acer, Gateway and an another HP Pavilion laptop (all Win 7), & it works perfectly with them, but not w / mine. All my drivers are up to date. (Although there is not driver site Acer for the FT200HQL for Win 7 & I don't think that what they have listed as a driver for Win 8 is a pilot). A Microsoft Search to ensure the compatibility of the FT200HQL compatible shows and there's nothing I should do. Help, please! I really like the monitor & don't want to send again, but I bought it mainly for the touch screen feature.

Upgrading Toshiba PX30t to win 10 - HID touch screen problem
Hi all
im not an avid touch screen user... I rarely use when necessary or when the batteries in the mouse dies in the middle of my work and I have to continue with the screen.
When I bought my PC it was win8 and everything worked fine... until yesterday and after about 2-3 months because I upgraded to win10, I realized that the touchscreen does not work!
I looked at the forum for all tracks on this issues and I have seen that many complain of being unusable after upgrade win10 function keys. However I don't have this problem. that the screen has got the contact rendered useless item.
probably, during the win10 update the system decided to disable this feature, so no accidental contact on the screen could interrupt the upgrade process...If anyone is aware of this problem and how to fix it... I would be really grateful.
Thank you

Win 8 on samsung ativ smart pc - touch screen problem
Hi all
all of a sudden, my touch screen doesn't work - or better that partially - working: I use the s pen with no problems and even at boot I always type my password using the key, but once I'm connected, it no longer works.
facts: I always say / connected the keyboard as requested only when the tablet was turned off. I've updated to last 8 version latetly victory (I didn't work before or after)
someone can help me or has had the same problem?
many greetings
Nilli
Hey there,
Thanks for all the tips and tricks - in the end I discovered on my own:
It seems that there are two kinds of adjustment: the windows ones like the Samsung ones. Not like WiFi, where they are connected and power applications light / each other, those for touch are not.
I accidentally turned off the touch in settings of Samsung (which were hidden in single applications, not visible at first glance that I have disabled the 'Samsung Quick Starter') and I only checked the windows ones, which were very good.
But maybe it helps other people!
See you soon

Satellite U920T touch screen does not work with Windows 10
Hello everyone
I've updated to win 10 on my laptop & since I've lost the ability to touch my screen, it now works like a normal monitor.
I searched for several weeks on the net for a solution, but I realized that Toshiba does not care to solve the problem so any who found a solution? It seems to be a driver or software related issue to win 8.1 & 10.Hello.
Even as Dr. Joe... I also upgraded Windows 10 lost touch screen and camera. I returned to Windows 8.1 and I still haven't get touch screen. I seem to have lost my drivers HID Touch Screen as well.
Anyone have any ideas on how to restore touch screen drivers? I can't find them in the download section of driver Toshiba after hours of research.

Qosmio DX730 and Win8 - touch screen does not work
Hello
My wife's parents bought a Toshiba Qosmio DX730 (model PQQ11A). They have recently upgraded to Windows 8 and the touch screen does not work now.
The problem is lack of drivers (the monitor driver reports as a generic PnP monitor).
I have went on the Toshiba site and selected downloads driver for the appropriate model and installed a number of drivers, including recommended NVidia display drivers. There is no drivers on the site that seem to install support for Toshiba touchscreen.
Are there no drivers available for this model Windows 8? If not, is there another solution? If Yes, where can I find them. Any help very appreciated because they have nice and bought computer Windows 8 so they could use the touch functions.
Thank you.
Hello
On the page of the Toshiba UE driver you can find drivers for Win 8.
As far as I know that you will install the Toshiba display driver for the touch function works correctly.I found this driver.
Please check if you can install this:

Touch screen does not work on the old Portege M400
I'm trying to restore an old Toshiba Portege M400. I have WIN XP Tablet 2005 installed and which, according to me, are all the drivers. Everything works perfectly except the touch screen.
I've been all over the web, downloaded and installed some drivers WACOM Vigneau suggested in another thread here - still no luck.
Anyone have any ideas or experience on how to solve this problem?
> I would not be able to use my fingernail or or a pencil eraser to type with (I don't have any kind of pen) just to test?
To my knowledge, you have the pen in order to use the touch screen.
As far as I know there are two pens in the portege M400.
The reserve pen located at the bottom of the unit that there should be a slot that the second pen. -
Satellite S50t-B touch screen no longer works
Hello
My partner bought a S50t-B Satellite probably 5-6 months and everything worked perfectly, until she had a few updates to windows that has happened, and now the touch HID compatible drivers are apparently disabled in Device Manager?
The touch screen no longer works, and I've pretty much exhausted all the options I could think.
I tried to reinstall windows, apply all updates via the service center, I can't find the drivers for the touch screen on the support Web site downloads section and the bios etc is all to date.
I was hoping someone could shed some light on how to proceed with this issue, since the main reason, she bought there the touch screen function.
Thanks, Keegan

I don't have any idea what system you have installed, but if the laptop was equipped with touch screen, additional drivers for touchscreen are not necessary.
If touch screen is working properly, the Windows (Win 8.1) should detect it automatically. What Satellite S50t-B-ooo do you excatly?
From my point of few, the laptop must be set to settings factory just to check if its really a software related issue... so I wonder why you do not use HARD drive recovery or recovery media to restore the laptop to factory settings? -
Satellite R10-101: touch screen does not work in tablet mode
Hello
I just bought a Satellite R10-101 laptop / tablet.
The machine didn't come with a stylus, so I'm not sure if the touchscreen works or not.
When the machine is in tablet mode touch screen is unresponsive to a contact with a finger. I tried a pointing device of a Windows CE handheld that has a touch screen, but it does not work on the touch screen of the R10.
The touchscreen should be enabled or that I have to get a Toshiba stylus?
The computer is running Windows XP Tablet Edition. Will I get the same functionally if I update to Windows 7. Material of the R10 is compatible with Win 7?
Thank you for any help or advice.
Joe

Hello
The display panel works as a touch sensitive digitizer screen.
You need the stylus to use the touch screen in tablet mode.I think you can order the stylus lack of authorized partner Toshiba in your country or google for part numbers: P000407550 or P000445420

I recently installed XP instead Win7 on my U500. I downloaded and installed all the drivers identified support. I was delighted. Later, I realized the touch screen was the only function that did not work. It is not a driver specifically identified as touchscreen in the list of drivers to support for it.
So, is this not supported for XP?
It is in the list of drivers but in another utility named driver or Toshiba?
I install something in the wrong order.
I didn't see it specifically identified in the Win 7 Driver listAny ideas? BJK
I have the same laptop but I use it with original Win7 and didn t try to install Windows XP Home edition. I put t old BONES need more recent material.
This touch display under Win7 feature, to the N-Trig driver.Unfortunately, this driver is not available on Windows XP Home edition. I checked the Toshiba download page and didn t find.
I'm afraid you have to live without this function of m.

Still 2 WT10 - touch screen does not work
Sometimes the touch screen does not work or malfunctioning, as does replacing the system and continues. When it crashes I have to suspend the Tablet and wait a bit, sometimes I have to play several times to select what I want. Anyone know what it could be?
Have a Toshiba Encore 2 WT10
You said; you have already changed the system.
What did you change? The ENCORE 2 WT10-A-102 was pre-installed with Win OS 8.1.Also, I guess the problem described is related to busy BONE.
Probably too many applications (apps) as well as the process running in the background and this could lead to short a few drop-outs or performance problems.
