touchpad no longer works after windows 10

S7-392

I installed the upgrade for the Synaptics driver, nothing helps.

TPN and Alt.7 do not work.

Any ideas?

As a result of a thread from the previous Microsoft forums, it worked for me yesterday to restore the trackpad function. Go to the page of the Acer driver for your computer. Download the intel chipset drivers for Windows 8.1 i/o. Run the Setup program for the 'compatibility' mode driver and install it. You will need to restart the computer. The computer will then recognize the trackpad as a device is valid. Then download and install the driver Synaptics (or impetus) to win 10 of the Acer support page and restart. If the trackpad is not immediately active on reboot, press F7 function. At least it fixed it for me.

  • Touchpad no longer works after update BIOS on Satellite A500-1GL

    Hello world

I just bought my laptop Satellite A500-1GL today. I started at the top and plays a bit (nothing serious). The touchpad worked very well at the moment.

Then I discovered this tool to update the material and the update of the BIOS that worked without any problems. After I restarted the laptop, BIOS, loaded the default values of the installation and recorded.
After that Windows 7 (x 64) started the touchpad no longer works...

I downloaded the driver here and installed again once, still does not. I went into the BIOS, disabled the touchpad (I thought that maybe it's a bug...) and started again. It still does not...

I enabled it again in the BIOS, tried to push the function + F9, but it still does not... Finally, I used the recovery and installed a Windows 7 costs.
    But unfortunately it still doesn't.

Now, I'm out of ideas, can anyone help?
Is there a chance to get the older version of BIOS to downgrade it?

    Thanks in advance ;)

    Hello

It seems strange that after update Bios touchpad no longer works.

    > Is there a chance to get the older version of BIOS to downgrade it?

To be honest, I don't know where to find. In any case, do a search on Google. Perhaps, other users of the forum can give you a link to download.
The downgrade of the Bios is riskier upgrade procedure. So, be careful the next time...
Advice for the future; Do not touch the running system.

    Good luck!

  • Touchpad no longer works after upgrade to VISTA on my M105-S3084

I recently updated my system to VISTA and since that time, my touchpad does not work. I tried to install all types of drivers, that nothing seems to work. VISTA indicated that the device works properly. All other devices work - just the touchpad.

    Any idea?

    1 million thanks!
    Axel

Have you checked if the touchpad is not disabled?
You can enable and disable the touchpad by using the FN + F9 key, but I don't know if it will work if you have not installed the correct drivers m.

However, in my opinion, the touchpad does not work due to incorrect or missing drivers!

The laptop seems to be designed for the American market, and therefore, you should use the Toshiba site to download the correct Vista drivers!

By the way; It s always a good idea to perform a clean install an update!

  • Pavilion x 2 N005TU: ELAN touchpad does not work after windows update 10

Hi, I've just updated my Pavilionx2 N005TU for windows 10 yesterday. After update, tochpad is not working and keep turn off every time, even I allow him - he'll be disenabled after closing. And I have to activate whenever I turn on my laptop. You have a permanent solution for this? Thank you.

PS. I already checked for the new update of device - but no update to touchpad so far.

Hi Amm_S04, as you know windows 10 has just come out, so it will take time for all drivers (including touchpad drivers) to get the new updated version supporting this new windows. For now you can also check here http://support.hp.com/us-en drivers

Although I would advice you to wait and update the driver through windows update as soon as it is available.

  • P6-2270ea: speakers on my monitor HP 2009v no longer work after Windows update 10

Recently, I noticed there was no sound when using my desktop and when I clicked on the icon Audio (lower-right) I was told that no speakers are connected. I checked all connections between the tower and the monitor, but nothing obvious has been disconnected. There are some speakers on my HP 2009v monitor so I couldn't understand what was going on. The monitor is connected to the desktop computer, although it does not show as existing on the HP support assistant.

After a lot of research on websites and download updates from microsoft and HP, I found advice on your forum to download the software updates Windows 8.x. This and now my headset worked, but the speakers do not always work. Help please!

The monitor has its own set of controls and menu and I feel that something will not sit well with Windows 10 - when I tried to use the Auto function and the menu on the screen its has already disappeared (I got the extent of noise in the headphone previuosly).  I'm not in touch with this set of controls now, in which case I will go back to no sound at all!

Any detailed suggestions please? -I don't know much about computers so I am a little intimidated by things like open in safe mode, etc.

  • CD no longer works after windows loading 8.1

Hello.  After the upgrade to Windows 8.1 my CD stops working.  Load discs and it would turn, but nothing on the computer has welcomed the presence of a disc in the CD or even a CD-ROM drive.

According to the instructions of Microsoft, I removed the driver (they said restarting the computer would reload the driver, but this seems not to happen).

How do I install the correct driver, correctly map my CD and get it all working again?

  • Upgrade of VN7 bluetooth devices - 791G no longer work after Windows 10

After the upgrade to Windows 10 on my 2 month, Acer VN7 - 791G, could not pair my mouse Logitech bluetooth mouse, my bluetooth speakers could not pair and could not by Nexus 7.  All these devices have been works fine on Win 8.1 earlier.

In Device Manager, only the generic drivers Bluetooth of Windows, Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator and THE enumerator showed (dated dated 21/06/2006).

Under network adapters, the display driver has been the NVA of Qualcomm Atheros QCA64x4 10.0.0.62 dated Date 18/05/2015.

I checked that this model is indeed compatible under ACER for Windows 10 website.  I was also check the ACER drivers to win 10 for this model, but there is no new update Bluetooth.

I downloaded the 8.1 earn more and install, but they would not always work (Microsoft ones are still showing in Device Manager).

I had to actually downgrade back to 8.1 days earlier because of this problem but thought I would try to update to Windows 10 again, hoping that it would work, but still no luck.

I had google but can't seem to find a solution and think that I need a bluetooth update driver for Windows 10 of Acer or Broadcom.  The site of Atheros do not have Windows 10 bluetooth drivers as well.

I might have to go back again and try again in a few months time unless someone could please point me in the right direction.

    Thank you.

Hi, so I only installed the Atheros drivers because what's in my system (I visually checked before when I added an SSD). I had no luck with NFA222 and have not installed the 3.0.0.373 (a way).

I also tried to install a few other atheros, drivers of win10/win8.1 I found other sources. None of those who work.

My standard method of installing the new drivers is to uninstall all existing, then use the available to download setup.exe. Then restart.

Here's what I look at. Note the LG Mini is my active BT stereo. I had also connected it to my android, so I'm sure things work as expected.

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Windows will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.

Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. • Computer with pre installed windows 7 no longer work after Windows installation 10

    Hello

A few months ago, my son ordered a computer with Windows 7 pre-installed. He installed Windows 10 such as recommended with the message 'free upgrade'. Unfortunately, now the computer does not work at all and the computer doesn't seem to have a possibility of recovery (at least we cannot find it).

In addition, the computer manufacturer does not meet one of e-mails and calls from some time. What can we do to recover his computer with Windows 7 or Windows 10 (I don't like which version of Windows)? Windows setup does not work 10 from scratch, the product key has not been accepted, probably because there is only a product key for a pre installed windows 7.

    Help, please!

    Kind regards

Have you checked to make sure that your drivers are up to date? Normally, this can resolve that many users experience problems after updating to Windows 10:

How to: 10 things to do after installing Windows 10

If the certificate of authenticity for Windows 7 sticker is connected to your computer, you can try to get the edition of Windows 7 then use your product key to reinstall:
