  Here, that's what I did:

  I replaced the HARD drive that came with my T430s with a 830 SSD from Samsung and I wanted to activate the sleep of 30 days feature. My understanding is that this function is identical to Intel Rapid Start writing system from Hibernate State in SSD and puts the processor in a sleep state extended (S4). I think the only difference between this and windows hybrid sleep feature is that it requires a separate partition hibernation on an SSD. Here's what I did:

  1. create an 8 GB on my SSD hibernation partition (I have 8 GB of RAM)

  2 activated the 30 days sleep function in the power manager

  3. active hybrid sleep in Power Manager power management

  4 off the hibernation (powercfg /Hibernate)

  5. set the delay in the BIOS for immediately to test the feature (I want to value something more than one hour once I prove it works)

  I rebooted my computer and unplugged the AC (Lenovo Power Manager description indicates that AC will disable deeper sleep and hibernation). The computer go to sleep but will not go into a State of deep sleep and it is to sleep in 2 seconds. I tried to use the sleep feature hybrid Windows, requiring the Hibernate to be activated, and it is undesirable because I can't put when the laptop sleeps vs hybrid sleep (sometimes I want 2 s ~ instant on/off voltage and sometimes I can wait a little longer).

  I confirmed the BIOS affecting work when the power manager is not installed. I think this device or the software ASUS/Intel are acceptable solutions.

  Could you try to disable graphics hardware acceleration? As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems with some drivers/graphics cards.

  First of all, this isn't the latest version of the operating system for the 9700. I know you can get OS 6, if you wish. Don't know if your carrier offers it yet or not, but many are.
