• Pilot for missing SM Bus controller after the clean install

  did a clean Windows 7 Home Premium installation and two USB ports does not work, went to the Manager of peripherals and other devices beside the SM Bus controller and controller Universal Serial Bus (USB), there are two exclamation points.

  I have not had any problems to access the page W8.1 of the driver for your model using IE11...

  You need these drivers for devices... I've posted direct links, so you shouldn't have problems to download the drivers.

  I rebooted just Windows 7 on the new drive hard (an old failed). I have downloaded all drivers etc for this computer and install them, but for some reason any, he shows that the SM Bus controller in the car is not installed and I can't find him anywhere online (site HP etc.). • TouchSmart 520 TV tuner stopped working

  I have a 1190EA Touchsmart 520. I have recently upgraded to Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows and now the TV tuner stopped working. I've already used Windows Media Center to watch TV. I ran install MCE and windows MCE is unable to find all channels. My TV card is an Avermedia A859.

  I tried everything to fix the problem without success. I suspect that the card is is most recognized in the PC and have tried to find a driver windows 7 or 8 for the card A859. I was not able to locate a driver from the sites, including the Avermedia and HP. The only thing I could find is on the HP site where there is a patch TV card 'channel search fix' for Windows 7. I tried running it, but it returns a "HP not compatitibility" error message during the installation.

  I also tried to install other programs of TV tuner (no windows MCE) to see if these would work. These don't work and I think that they are not detect any signal. Yet once this leads me to think that the TV card needs a driver.

  If anyone can help here it would be really appreciated.

  Tuner TV being not able to find any signal / channels, since the upgrade to Windows 8.1. After checking the HP Software and Driver download page, it takes up to 8 windows are supported.   The drivers are located on the European driver Toshiba page.
  The Qosmio G50 is a former series so you should choose archives in the Type of product (the first option of the driver download form).

• SM Bus controller has yellow exclamation

  Hello, I have a HP Pavilion a 1222n computer.  Ithas an AMD Athlon (tm) 64 Processor 3500 + according to the properties of the computer.

  He used to have XP Home and I have it wiped out and installed XP Pro. I installed all the drivers but Device Manager is showing a SM Bus controller with a yellow exclamation mark and every time I boot it shows this as a new piece of hardware, but I can't find the drivers to install.  Help, please.  Jerry

  I actually found the HP drivers folder on the drive C windows and installed the driver, but thanks to the entrance.

  recently, I had to re-install windows7 Home premium 32-bit.

  Although it works well, but the following problems persists.

  Under devices and printers my Pc name appears with a yellow exclamation point!.

  In Device Manager, everything is ok except the SM bus controller. My widows updates are underway.

  Despite this, I am unable to find a driver for aompatible for controller SM bus either on intel.com

  or Hp or Google search.whatever I get does not solve the problem.

• For HP Pavilion P6-2033de SM Bus controller

  I just bought a HP Pavilion p6-2033de, which has been renovated and came without an operating system.  I installed Windows 7 Professional and there is an error report to show that there is no SM Bus controller driver.  I tried to find using windows without success and went to the site of HP Germany but I still cannot follow the missing driver - please help.  Could the fact that this driver is missing cause intermittent freezes when I can't get back without turning off the system and the re-start?
