Tracking movement obscured shot

I'm trying to move a bag shopping with corners of perspective to replace the Arabic logo but the bag half disappears behind the other pocket and I can't get a complete follow-up. Anyone know how I can solve this problem. Thank you.

I'd the track in mocha, then you can ignore the bag at the front. You can also do in mocha roto.

Another option would be to stabilize the kick for position of rotation and scaling then roto the bag forward to separate the shooting in layers, then replace the logo and animate as well as you can to match, then remove the stabilization and animate it the replacement of the logo. The simplest technique depends on what happens in the shot. Just a PIN track simple corner will not quite work because there is very little texture on the bag.

There are a lot of tutorials on the Imagineer site monitoring. I'm working on a tutorial to stabilize, roto, then put the motion new tutorial covering the whole of the proceedings. It should be ready soon. I'll put it up when it is ready. This is to stabilize the shot so the object of interest does not move in the framework. Rename the stabilized images stabilized, make all necessary roto, by adding new elements and adapting to the need, then by adding a null value and applying this preset to the value null, then parenting all layers to null to remove the stabilization and animate it elements added.

    Welcome to the forum, Hagit.

I'm not clear on what you're trying to accomplish, but it seems that you are referring to the effects obtained by using the Position and scale of the effects. To see whether these effects will meet your needs, follow these steps:

    1. Add a clip to the timeline.
    2. Select this element of the track
    3. Put the effect controls panel to the front.
    4. Whirlpool open section of the Motion.
    5. Adjust the parameters of Position and scale and look at what is happening in the program monitor.

If these settings do not give the expected results, then please be more specific about what you want to accomplish.

  • Is it possible to get my (position) keyframes to a track movement of action script?

I did follow up of after-effects of movement and I'm looking for the posibility copy movement and convert them into action script, reuse it in flex.

    is it posible?

Copy data to the Clipboard and paste it into a text editor or something. It is well formatted. Must be easy to scan through Flex, if you need to be with a manual cleaning. Also, you can try to copy & paste the news tracker on the position of the data on the dummy layers (they must be actual film elements, for example a small PNG placeholder), then use export XFL to get data from Flash / Flex.

  • Is it possible to use the motion tracking to add nice looking titles or titles of movement (not only the ridiculous info bubbles)? Or better yet, is it possible to integrate tracking movement with your own bunk graphics? (using first 14 elements)

    Issue of title

Yes of course. (I even show you how to do in my book 'Cool Tricks & hot tips for first Elements 14'.)

Just make sure that whatever graphic you want to use is already in your project assets before you begin your Motion Tracking.

Once you are in the Motion Tracking Workspace, the active panel of the project appears at the top right of the interface, and you can drag any graphic, video or title pre-created on your path of Motion.

  • PROBLEM OF TRACKING MOVEMENT WITH THE ADJUSTMENT LAYER

    Hello.

I'm trying to fade a logo on a shoe, but I have some difficulty to get the tracker to stick on the logo.  Can someone help me, please.  Here are the steps I took:

    1. I used Tracker to follow a logo I want to fade.

    2. after the analysis of the layer, I went back to check the anchor the anchor is perfectly centered on the logo on each image frame by frame.

    3. then I added an adjustment layer and used the pick whip to ensure that the position of the adjustment layer is the same that the position of the tie of the tracker.

    4. on the adjustment layer, I created an ellipse mask, apply a Gaussian blur.  But when I read, the mask of the ellipse is all over the place and don't stick to the logo.

Someone has an idea what I am doing wrong?  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thank you, in advance.

2010 mac Pro.  After Effects CS5.  Snow Leopard 10.6.6.

To start, I always apply tracking to a null data, then parent set to null for layers that must follow the trail.

Make sure that you have chosen the right target. Make sure that you chose the right options. You should use Transform like track type. You must also do a quick search on Google. There are a lot of tutorials out there for follow-up.

If your null value follows the object, then you can parent the null value adjustment layer. That should do it.

    Hello.

After 14 effects using, I want to hide a moving person in my shot (the camera is stationary), but hide manually (point by point, frame by frame) is a lot of work and track movement does not really work. The problem is that I need to cut the person accurately, but all means of monitoring, I tried were too loose, does not follow the person correctly or has worked better than expected, but just for the face.

  • Move an image with motion tracking

    Right, so here's the deal:

(Note: Spoilers for the ending of the guardians of the Galaxy.) If you did not, fix that)

So, I'm doing a brief clip where I put a friend of the Chief of the mine on the groot dance little guardians of the Galaxy (he is a big fan of this movie, so I do as a kind of anniversary, eCard).

I am trying to use the movement followed to make the photo stay on top of the head of groot, but I don't know how to do this. I got to follow effects, but I can't figure out how to get the image to do. I am currently using first CC 2015, and it is the only software I have.

Any advice out there? Sorry, but I only got the software a few days ago and only knowledge I have are a couple tutorials basic and just pressing buttons to see what would happen. So, in terms of intelligence, keep your explanation somewhere in the area of Cro-Magnon.

You need AE to do this for you

First, you can only track movement masks not images.

  • Probably stupid question, but - how to remove a clip of movement tracking?

I was playing with the functionality of tracking movement and think that I can come up with a way to do the work to highlight my now famous 'football '.

However, I need to remove the effect (s) that I added to the clip so that I can start fresh motion tracking.  For the life of me I can't understand how to remove!

This can be a very basic question - and I'm sorry, but I can't find the answer.  I can not just delete the original yellow followed - boxes

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Kim

To remove the Tracking Motion, just delete the chart you attached to it. There is no need to remove the object itself.

But you can if you wish. Just click to select the item and then click the motion tracking tool. Right-click on the blue or yellow squares, and then select Delete.

  • Purpose of track and zoom green screen?

I have two shots, I'm trying to merge.  One is a handheld zoom and travelling of a person wearing a mask, and I'm putting an ORB that I green projected onto the front of the mask.  I had tried to animate the sequence manually, but decided to try after effects CC because it seemed that it would be a simple solution (as an anchor to a 3D point).  I was not able to find a solution that works well, but the closest I came is to create a tracker of the camera but do not compensate for the zoom when I move the layer of the orb to the solid that I create.  I hope it's just something simple I am missing! Thanks for your help - Andrew

The simplest solution is that if you see the shots. Here are some things to consider. Point of view is controlled by the position of the camera, focal control framing. You try to mix a mobile camera with an evolution of the focal length. This means that there is a problem immediately top with perspective. Maybe it's not important because I'm not sure of what look like your shots. So it is this hand held shot of a person wearing a mask and that they walk so the camera and the person are moving. Then there's this orb that was shot on a green screen that you want to attach to the mask. You are zoomed out of the person while the perspective shifts across shot because the camera is moving and the perspective of the person moving in the changes of shooting because they move around the scene and the scale or the framing of the picture changes because you are zooming. Then you have an ORB (something spherical) you shot with a camera locked for perspective and framing does not change. When you say you want to put the ORB on the forehead of the mask I'm picturing the composite final as a shot of an actor wearing a mask that has some sort of jewelry that looks like an ORB and the actor is walking toward the camera while the camera zooms in. If it is we break down what is happening in the shot and the challenges that await you.

Let's take the ORB first. It is a locked low blow so there is no problem to change perspective or the change of scale (zoom with camera) deals. The only thing you can do is hope that the prospect of the ORB is close enough to the prospect of the actors face which does not matter.

Now let's talk about the outstretched hand of shooting of the actor. When the camera moves there is a shift in perspective in the whole scene. Because the actor also moves, there is a change in the perspective of the actor. Since the ORB will be attached to the mask's actor it is really unnecessary to worry about the perspective change in the background, you only need to worry with the change of point of view of the actor. If the distance between the camera and the actor remains fairly constant, then the change of perspective probably won't be much of a factor. If the actor begins 10 feet from the camera and ends with 2 feet of it camera then you have to deal with the change of point of view as well. Now consider the zoom.

Zoom does not change the point of view, it changes only the framing or the extent of the shooting. You have to find a way to measure this change globally and apply the change to the scale of the layer of the orb. Fortunately, this part is not too hard.

Now we are going to attach the ORB to the mask. If the distance between the camera and the actor is relatively constant so you don't have to worry much about a change of perspective. This means that the best thing to do would be to stabilize the mask so that it is not moving. If the player does not turn their head a lot so it's pretty easy. If the actor turns his head then it becomes much more difficult. Suppose that the actor don't move their head. You'll need to follow the position of the mask and the face of the actors and scale and rotation. Then, you need to apply this position, scale, and rotation to the layer of the orb. You could do that little monitoring by tracking the eye holes in the mask or by the monitoring of the upper part of the head and the Chin or the other two parts of the mask with a geometry set. Once the head and, therefore, the mask is followed for the position, scale and rotation, you can apply these data to the orb. There are basically two ways to do it. You can either stabilize shooting so that the mask does not move in the image, then place the ORB on the stabilized mask and then put the movement in shooting and apply tracking to the layer with the orb data so that it moves with the head of the actors. The other option is simply to apply directly tracking data to the layer of the orb in position on the mask and match the scale and rotation of the changes at the head of the actors. You can use AE tracker or tracker in Mocha for either. It is easier and more efficient method depends entirely on shooting.

If the actor turns his head during the shooting, then everything in the previous paragraph applies more you need follow the change of perspective in the minds of the players. Maybe it's where you use the tracking camera AE and Mocha AE not having any real 3D tracking tools that track different elements 3D as the face of actors in a scene. According to the shooting, there may be a way to use tracker AE camera to simply follow the movement of the face and then add a sphere 3D layer so that it will follow with the movement of the actor. You can even use a 3D object. You would do that by stabilizing the first actors to head in the shot so that the position, scale and head actors has been locked. You would then duplicate this layer and mask the layer so that only the head of the actors was visible in the shot. You would then dial before shooting hidden just head of actors and run the tracker of the camera on the demo. By doing this, you may be able to fool the camera into thinking that the actors head does not move, but the camera moves around the head of the actors. If you can get a good track then you can add a null value and a camera to the scene and then the 3D layer orb and i match position ' t to null. If the ORB remains attached to the mask actors as it should then you could turn off the layer of film, leaving only the orb and the camera in the demo.

Now, all you have to do is to put the rear movement essentially shot by reversing the stabilization and applied these data to follow-up to the pre comped ORB.

Here is a tutorial of Mikey who is good enough and gives you an idea of how do track camera mobile head.

I don't know if that helps at all, but it should point you in the right direction. The explanation also stresses that the planning of the production before when you do something like this. Just Runnin ' and gunnine you can get in a lot of trouble.

  • How filter you moving objects in a movie?

    Hello!

I ' v searched the Internet for solutions to this but I can't find any.

IM prittie again and I need to make a home in flames, while two guys (one is me)

will be away from him, walking towards the camera.

I want to filter these two guys and apply only fire and flames in the House itself!

To do this, I used the time Difference and tried to isolate the guy using blur accelerated and Luma Key

but Im prittie lost... Nothing works and I really need guidance

You know a trick to use?

I can't do filtering as the green background cost a fortune...

But is there anyway to filter the objects in motion?

I'm not sure that you get the entire process. This kind of shooting requires at least 3 items or plates. These three plates become three layers in After Effects. The bottom layer would be the bottom plate which is a shot of the House without the actors involved. The plate next would be the effect plate or plate of fire which could be any shot you can get or generate through plug-ins of flames. The top layer would be your plate with foreground or your two actors.

Now that you know what you need, you can plan your shoot. The bottom plate is easy. Just put the camera on a tripod and lock off the coast. NO zoom. No panning, no change of direction. The first plan is also easy. You do not have to green the entire screen, all you need to do is put a green screen behind your actors. I do this kind of thing all the time with a 6' X 6' (sometimes smaller) screen green (or blue or red or purple) fabric and stretched on a frame that I made of a 1/2 "EMT led electric and 4 elbow connectors 90 ° for less than $20 at home, depot or Lowes. You get a couple of assistants to walk behind your actors holding the green screen behind them. If you need to include their feet they can easily be rotoscoped later and you can cache everything. If it is impossible for the green screen suddenly while you're stuck with roto, but which is much easier in CS5 using the Roto Brush tool. If you use your show with actors that roto bottom plate is even easier, because you can hide a multitude of sins in simply being flag of roto and leaving the slight fire around the actors a little envelope.

The fire plate can be purchased at images, you can shoot a real fire on black background, or you can create flames using AE or even a 3D as Blender application (free) or a bunch of other applications.

Do the actual shooting requires a few tips once you have your own plates. Fire creates a light so that you have learned to add effects to lighting of the bottom plate to sell fire. You also wrap of light around your actors. Search for tutorials on light for this film. You can really help sell the effect if you place some sources of light flickering behind and next to your players when shooting in the foreground (actors) plate.

Once you get a handle on these techniques, it is quite easy to make the transition to shoot such a coup with a hand-held camera (now must learn tracking movement). We had a project I just finished putting out a fire in a fireplace while the actors prop moved bringing milk and cookies for Santa. It was all the roto and the fire were shot at night with nothing but black fabric (Molton) behind the grille of the fireplace. The composite final was of 10 layers and so completely believable that nobody questions the shot.

The layers were up and down, thinking in grannies glasses wrap, light, actors (rotation of the original bottom plate), fire glitter, color layer mask (orange more around fire, fire glow layer, light layer in Add mode, second layer of fire in screen mode, third fire layer with Luma and finally the original plate that contained all the actors carefully lit with flickering firelight simulated by swinging a stick with fabric cut into strips of width 1/2 inch around a foot in front of an orange gel light behind and to the right of the actors.

If I get a chance I will post a screenshot.

    Here you go:

  • Trapcode particular motion tracking

    Hi all

Another question, hopefully an easy fix that I just forgot...

I followed my scene motion because I want to put a particular Trapcode particles effect in there.

I followed, pick a place to "create a camera and null" and got in a particular solid with plugin.

But even if I do the 3D layer, it remains invisible. As soon as I do the invisible camera layer, the particular layer becomes visible.

It seems like he said 'no you can't follow me in a scene', what should I do?

I think it should be possible because there was actually a particle track movement in the official trailer for Trapcode particular.

    Greetings from Holland,

    Quinten

But even if I do the 3D layer,

you don't do that in particular. It is a 3D effect - it should be applied to a 2D, not a 3D layer layer.

what you need to do, is to integrate in the scene with a thin layer. Create a layer of light and call transmitter. configure your particular plugin to use a light (transmitter Type-> light). now, the light is your native 3D references, for the particular case is in the scene. all you have to do now is reach to any point you followed in the scene and it will follow along.

an easy way to do it is create null via the 3d tracker, select your diaper change, then press transmitter as you he parent to null. now, he will get the position and orientation of the null value. After that unparent layer.

  • How to fix tracking off the screen?

After using the camera approach to analyize the scene, I created the text I linked to the environment and is supposed to move off screen, but just, he dwells on the side of the screen. I found several links on how to deal with this problem in tracking movement online, but none in 3D tracking. If I just drag the object, it is proposed for all frames... How can I manually fix some images?

    Thank you!

When the track is not good, you can improve the track by excluding the track points that are not accurate.

Alternatively, you can try other trackers camera as the Camera Tracker of the Foundry plugin or the generation of the Solver in mocha Pro camera.

Finally, if all what you need inserts an object 2D as a text, followed with mocha's planar is a good alternative (in light of the fact that you have a plan in your scene you can track where you want to insert the text). In general, a single monitoring plan is much easier that the camera of monitoring and the results are generally more accurate. Therefore, only follow the camera if it is really necessary.

It is a good starting point to learn Mocha
