• I'm redoing my old logo in vector, but I get irregular paths, not smooth with the tracking tool

  In addition to say Scott and Mike, you can:

  (1) draw the left leg first, as is it is left feet weren't there (just connect the pieces that you can do with less care on the invisible parts), you can use the fill;

  (2) draw the gator together as a single external shape (on the left leg), you can use the fill;

  (3) draw a shape that follows the upper part of the pale belly and continues in the outer form (the outer part can be established with less care;

  (4) draw the white in the eyes (the left eye may extend outside the outer form);

  (5) draw the dark-eyed;

  (6) copy the outside shape at the front, select it and the shape of the belly and Pathfinder > Intersect zones form or the harvest;

  (7) do the same for the left eye.

  To give you a taste of how to drag the tool pen, it should be an anchor at the corner of the mouth, two at the end of the lower jaw, and one where the jaw meets the neck.

• Essbase performance tracking tool

  Currently, we use Zabbix to monitor the use of the Essbase database resources (CPU, memory, disk i/o, etc.).

• Problem with track tool select first Pro CC

  Dear people of first,

  a strange thing happened on my new job of first CC. The track selection tool behaves oppsite to what you expect: by default, the function is multiselect and with depressed shift is just a track (single) select and displays the ToolTip under the sequence to the SHIFT to use as select multi track. Other tools work normally, CS6 normally CC also works, on the other workstation: same question.

  I did some research on the web, but couldn't find anything useful.

  Anyone have any idea?

  This is normal.  I find a useful change.  Most of the time I want to move a group of clips, I want to move them all Flickr pictures anyway.  This eliminates the modifier key to move most of the operations.

• performance tracking tools: esxtop, vmkusage, VSphere Client,...

  I have been reading some old discussions Forum and white books and am confused about performance monitoring tools are always available or useful under VSphere V4.

  • ESXTOP: seems to be always available.  But are "Interpreting statistical esxtop" and "Using esxtop to troubleshoot problems" v2 days still valid?
  • vmkusage: this tool is still used or available?
  • are the graphics available in the VSphere Client and VCenter modern versions of these?
  • the ESX Server MUI exist anymore?  (referenced in "Comparing the MUI, VirtualCenter and vmkusage")
  • the main square more on performance monitors Appendix A, in the Guide to management of resources?

  (2) vmkusage is back from vcenter 2.5 update 4. It does not appear as performance under vsphere client tab.

  (3) MUI would be replaced as vcenter web app, but there is nothing much to be seen here

  all and all it's graphics performance for the vsphere client and esxtop for performance troubleshooting on my side. There are modern as vcenter operations tools if you are interested.

  Hi Claudia.

  If one of these tools can be user of a web browser, you could write scripts FTR against them just as you would for any other browser based application. If they have their own clients, you might consider using SDH advanced to build synthetic transactions that measure the performance of these tools and the activity they provide for you.

  Foglight FTR relies on its own generated scripts, so I don't think there is a way to integrate these tools directly at this level. However if these third-party tools have command-line access, or they write results for log files, you can use script Foglight agents to get the data.

• Purpose of track and zoom green screen?

  I have two shots, I'm trying to merge.  One is a handheld zoom and travelling of a person wearing a mask, and I'm putting an ORB that I green projected onto the front of the mask.  I had tried to animate the sequence manually, but decided to try after effects CC because it seemed that it would be a simple solution (as an anchor to a 3D point).  I was not able to find a solution that works well, but the closest I came is to create a tracker of the camera but do not compensate for the zoom when I move the layer of the orb to the solid that I create.  I hope it's just something simple I am missing!   The simplest solution is that if you see the shots. Here are some things to consider. Point of view is controlled by the position of the camera, focal control framing. You try to mix a mobile camera with an evolution of the focal length. This means that there is a problem immediately top with perspective. Maybe it's not important because I'm not sure of what look like your shots. So it is this hand held shot of a person wearing a mask and that they walk so the camera and the person are moving. Then there's this orb that was shot on a green screen that you want to attach to the mask. You are zoomed out of the person while the perspective shifts across shot because the camera is moving and the perspective of the person moving in the changes of shooting because they move around the scene and the scale or the framing of the picture changes because you are zooming. Then you have an ORB (something spherical) you shot with a camera locked for perspective and framing does not change. When you say you want to put the ORB on the forehead of the mask I'm picturing the composite final as a shot of an actor wearing a mask that has some sort of jewelry that looks like an ORB and the actor is walking toward the camera while the camera zooms in. If it is we break down what is happening in the shot and the challenges that await you.

  Let's take the ORB first. It is a locked low blow so there is no problem to change perspective or the change of scale (zoom with camera) deals. The only thing you can do is hope that the prospect of the ORB is close enough to the prospect of the actors face which does not matter.

  Now let's talk about the outstretched hand of shooting of the actor. When the camera moves there is a shift in perspective in the whole scene. Because the actor also moves, there is a change in the perspective of the actor. Since the ORB will be attached to the mask's actor it is really unnecessary to worry about the perspective change in the background, you only need to worry with the change of point of view of the actor. If the distance between the camera and the actor remains fairly constant, then the change of perspective probably won't be much of a factor. If the actor begins 10 feet from the camera and ends with 2 feet of it camera then you have to deal with the change of point of view as well. Now consider the zoom.

  Zoom does not change the point of view, it changes only the framing or the extent of the shooting. You have to find a way to measure this change globally and apply the change to the scale of the layer of the orb. Fortunately, this part is not too hard.

  Now we are going to attach the ORB to the mask. If the distance between the camera and the actor is relatively constant so you don't have to worry much about a change of perspective. This means that the best thing to do would be to stabilize the mask so that it is not moving. If the player does not turn their head a lot so it's pretty easy. If the actor turns his head then it becomes much more difficult. Suppose that the actor don't move their head. You'll need to follow the position of the mask and the face of the actors and scale and rotation. Then, you need to apply this position, scale, and rotation to the layer of the orb. You could do that little monitoring by tracking the eye holes in the mask or by the monitoring of the upper part of the head and the Chin or the other two parts of the mask with a geometry set. Once the head and, therefore, the mask is followed for the position, scale and rotation, you can apply these data to the orb. There are basically two ways to do it. You can either stabilize shooting so that the mask does not move in the image, then place the ORB on the stabilized mask and then put the movement in shooting and apply tracking to the layer with the orb data so that it moves with the head of the actors. The other option is simply to apply directly tracking data to the layer of the orb in position on the mask and match the scale and rotation of the changes at the head of the actors. You can use AE tracker or tracker in Mocha for either. It is easier and more efficient method depends entirely on shooting.

  If the actor turns his head during the shooting, then everything in the previous paragraph applies more you need follow the change of perspective in the minds of the players. Maybe it's where you use the tracking camera AE and Mocha AE not having any real 3D tracking tools that track different elements 3D as the face of actors in a scene. According to the shooting, there may be a way to use tracker AE camera to simply follow the movement of the face and then add a sphere 3D layer so that it will follow with the movement of the actor. You can even use a 3D object. You would do that by stabilizing the first actors to head in the shot so that the position, scale and head actors has been locked. You would then duplicate this layer and mask the layer so that only the head of the actors was visible in the shot. You would then dial before shooting hidden just head of actors and run the tracker of the camera on the demo. By doing this, you may be able to fool the camera into thinking that the actors head does not move, but the camera moves around the head of the actors. If you can get a good track then you can add a null value and a camera to the scene and then the 3D layer orb and i match position ' t to null. If the ORB remains attached to the mask actors as it should then you could turn off the layer of film, leaving only the orb and the camera in the demo.

  Now, all you have to do is to put the rear movement essentially shot by reversing the stabilization and applied these data to follow-up to the pre comped ORB.

  I don't know if that helps at all, but it should point you in the right direction. The explanation also stresses that the planning of the production before when you do something like this. Just Runnin ' and gunnine you can get in a lot of trouble.

• Probably stupid question, but - how to remove a clip of movement tracking?

  I was playing with the functionality of tracking movement and think that I can come up with a way to do the work to highlight my now famous 'football '.

  To remove the Tracking Motion, just delete the chart you attached to it. There is no need to remove the object itself.

  But you can if you wish. Just click to select the item and then click the motion tracking tool. Right-click on the blue or yellow squares, and then select Delete.

  I guess it's a temporal file created by Toshiba ECO Utility. I guess that the extension of the TDCA means mode, while the unit is connected to the power adapter.

• Satellite X 200-219 hang up the wake from sleep

  I got my satellite X 200-219 since April and he always showed the following behaviors but lately seems to have worsened.

A power cycle and restart with the prompt "unexpected shutdown" was then held after the machine will be perfectly happy.

  I tried to use performance and error tracking tools to identify what is happening but to point out, nothing is connected, and I think that all who had not been emptied to disk is lost. I got it down before the opening of the session/finger drag but also I got most of the way by the, horribly slow, the boot process.

  I tried a number of other things, the upgrade to the graphics drivers, bios etc disbaling Aero, and all sorts of other features all without success.

  I am now at a loss as to what I can do next and don't really have any new ideas as to what may be the issue.

  Anyone got tips? Someone at - he seen this before?

  I m no owner of an X 200 Satellite but I noticed hibernation/sleep problems on my laptop Vista too.
  For example my screen remained empty after waking from hibernation.
  I could solve it by the BIOS and update the graphics driver.

  Other problems have been resolved after installing some patches and Vista SP1.

  You never recover your laptop computer with the Toshiba Recovery CD and checked whether the hibernation issue has not changed?
  The fact is that a lot of problems is related to a BONE of garbage and the registry. It occurs due to mounting and dismounting 3 different third-party software.

  I always use a free tool of CCLeaner. It cleans my OS and fix if necessary registry entries.

• Satellite A110-195 - some Fn + keys do not work as before

  Before you start looking for solutions, I'll try to explain how the whole work.

  The drivers package GPIB-NI-488. 2 package 3.0.2 for Windows 7 64 bit is installed. GPIB Troubleshooting Utility tool displays "pass" and the application of the Measurement & Automation can connect to it and talk to an intrument. So far so good.

  Now, I want to write an application can use the NI4882.dll (3.0.0.49153). Unfortunately, there are just objects for compilers files Microsoft and Borland and no lib file.

  Therefore, generate us a def of the ni4882.dll file with:

  Hi all,

  After a few questions about the use of the GPIB with Qt library, I wrote a description step by step to create objects for MinGW files:

  1 create a folder and copy the "gpib - 32.dll' of the"C:\Windows\System32"("C:\Windows\SysWOW64"in Win7) in this folder.

  2. copy "ni488.h" to "c:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\Shared\ExternalCompilerSupport\C\include\. (Not ni4882.h!)

  3. load PExports (my version is 0.44) and put the exe in your folder. I don't have a URL to load this tool but should be easy to find. It is freeware.

  4. copy "c:\QtSDK\mingw\bin\" dlltool.exe in your folder.

  5. create a batch file '1 - build def file.bat' with the content: "pexports ni488.h gpib - 32.dll h > gpib.def.

  6. create a batch file "2 - build file.bat lib" with the content: "dlltool k d gpib - 32.dll - d gpib.def-l libgpib.a.

  7. run the batch file "1 - def file.bat build" to create the file 'gpib.def' def

  8. start the batch file "2 - build file.bat lib" to create the file in the library 'libgpib.a '.

  9 copy 'gpib - 32.dll' and 'libgpib.a' in your software project. I created the 'lib' subdirectory and copied the files to.

  10. copy "ni488.h" into your software project. I created the "include" subfolder and copied the file in.

• Application causes down vi Analyzer

  I'm having some trouble with my request.

  Basically, it causes labview variously to "hang" and sometimes to just pack up and die.  It has been more stable until I upgraded to lv2011, although I'm not 100% sure that the instability comes from the upgrade or new coding - I tried to change some of the interface to use loops of producer\consumer with the data passed between the front loops - so there is possibility of memory leaks I guess--although I have imagined that these would have caused memory error - rather flat breaks down.

  Since then, at least once I had a VI get corrupted so that the project was not working.  I managed to remove the vi that I completely borked and it's opening.

  I did my best to try to find leaks of bugs\memory in the code using the tracking tool, and then later tried to use the vi Analyzer tool to check the code.  This seems rather disturbing 'crash' before she can accomplish.

  I'm a little afraid that something in my project is corrupted as before - but a little not knowing how to find it.  Does anyone have advice?

  This accident occurs because of a bug in an internal method used by the test parallelizable loops in the VI Analyzer Toolkit. We have 339315 of the CAR on the question, and it is currently scheduled to be fixed in the next version of LabVIEW.

  For now, I suggest that disable you the test loops parallelizable for any screws you analyze under a FPGA target, like any VI with a call to the FIFO method on his diagram could potentially cause this accident if the parallelizable loops test runs on this subject.
