  My keyboard and trackpad on my Compaq Presario CQ60 laptop do not react and do not have external devices to see if it is an internal matter. Cannot restart in Mode safe as the keyboard is unresponsive, however it allows me to type my password to access vista! I think I just lock the computer, but do not know how unlock, various forums have specified relocation drivers etc, but I am unable to do this without functional keyboard and do not know how if I pressed a key combination that caused it. I don't know if it's a problem of Vista or Compaq/HP.

  This message can be considered "solved!" I was finally able to remove the program with the HP disk. I tried to reinstall (overwrite) the program, but I received a message that the installer has detected that the program is already installed. I wanted to try it manually, so I 'opened' the disc, you click on "setup" and received the same message. At this point, I was ready to try anything and noticed the "Launcher" icon and thought, what the heck, can't hurt to try at this stage, so I clicked it. I wasn't expecting the screen, I had, who said that it would be to uninstall the program. I thought it was too good to be true and easy way (after all), but after that it's over, I checked my Add/Remove programs and my 'problem' program was gone.

• Mobile data does not and the name of the Access Point settings are not available

  I don't have a mobile data, not even the small up and down arrows or letters beside the sims signal bars appear.

  I tried all the troubleshooting settings and different type of network, the airplane mode is off, mobile data are no limit, no power save modes are on. Phone is dual sim so I tried on the two sims and tried to disable the other sim and changing the sim slots, both sims are loaded with a credit of data that works in other android devices. WiFi works fine. Factory reset does not help.

  There is that one thing that I can't not try troubleshooting. When I select settings > more > mobile networks > access point names, it says

  "Access Point name settings are not available for this user.

  Maybe if I could put APN I could get mobile data. How can I do or how I can try to get mobile data to work?

  This text is a bit misleading, which is something that I have forwarded internally as your comments.

  If you have no NPP stored the phone displays the text "the name of the Access Point settings are not available for this user" even if you use the owner account and have access to the settings.

  Try to download the automatic settings from settings-> more-> Internet settings and see if that helps.

  I'm a student in computer engineering at the University of Waterloo 1A, and I run a very serious problem with my HP Envy 15 "TouchSmart laptop computer running Windows 8.1. It is a problem that just started today, and I'd rather have a first support here before going to see the technical support Office sometimes tomorrow. Because it was almost time for my presentation, I closed the laptop by simply moving the screen down on the keyboard, where it goes into mode 'sleep'. (Whenever I flip to the top of the screen, the laptop is supposed to return, and the sliding screen of Windows 8.1 connection will appear.)

  When I took my seat for reading, I wanted to spend a little time to work on my programming assignment. However, after the reversal of the screen to the top, instead of having the login screen appears, I encountered the problem: the power supply light is showing a white light, but I don't hear the fans between the ventilation openings on the left side of the laptop and the screen does not light.   I had this problem since I got this laptop, the pad and the volume keys don't work.

  I tried to uncheck keys mouse in Control Panel, but they still do not work, I put on a frame, so it makes a noise whenever you click on capslock and numeric keypad. However when I press numlock that noise does not turn on, I just wanted to make sure that there is a way out maybe solve this before I take it to the store.

  Looks like a defective keyboard that should have been replaced under warranty.  It won't be cheap to replace.  You will need a technician because it involves a lot of disassemble very delicate pieces.  Make sure that the technician replaces with the correct part.  There are a lot of almost the same thing available.

  If you have used the debugger and strengthened through this code and it's actually executing the invokeLater, then the reason is that the code runs this is running on the event Thread and does not give up it.  You code probably some 'wait' rather than relinquish control.  Step through the code that runs after it and see what happens - I think it is this code that causes the problem, not the code that you have demonstrated.

  That said, there are some things that you might consider encoding differently in the code provided:

  I could be wrong, but from memory, this code cannot run on the event either Thread.  And it does not block, then you code must run past it very well.
