train simulator hardware requires acceleration by JOHNBURNETTWF

When I try to run my train Simulator I get this material of train Simulator Wizard requires acceleration.  help needed please

Hello

It seems to me, you don't have the graphic card with hardware acceleration or you have not installed the drivers of your graphics card.

Can you write here some technical information about your computer ?

And what the Train Simulator you have ?

  • How can I get Microsoft Train Simulator to work on my computer with Vista?

    Hello
I installed Train Simulator on my computer with Vista about two years ago and I was never able to make it work. The game installed on my computer, but whenever I click on it to play it will work out fine until it gets to the main menu of the game page, then it will just completely freeze and stop working. I've tried everything to run I tried to run in Computability with Windows XP mode and it will still do the same thing, I even tried to uninstall and reinstall the game and who does not either because it will freeze just when the window displaying the initialization of the installation or uninstall initialization program opens and it's the end of this. If its basically as I installed it on my computer but I can't do anything with it I can't play, I can't try to fix it and I can't even uninstall it. So is my question possible that maybe I can get Train Simulator to work properly on my computer?
    Thank you!

If it freezes completely like that, it may be a hardware conflict any.  I heard similar things regarding the sound card drivers.  I would check to make sure that you have the latest audio drivers on your computer and also make sure your graphics drivers.  Usually your machine must not only freeze whatever the program itself, unless you have a driver problem.

Notes I've read, people get the game to work by mode of compatibility you tried (even if some have used Windows 95 and not XP compatible) and at the launch of the game, they choose "Run as Administrator" by clicking on the launcher and choosing it.

Try and see if you have a little better chance

  • Microsoft Train Simulator for PC

Anyone know if Microsoft Train Simulator runs on Windows 7. I've been running it on Windows XP for a few years now, but have come close to losing this PC because of the age.

MSTS can even run on Windows 8.1 (in XP compatibility mode), the version of Windows will not be the point, namely if MSTS may run, but rather the type of material that you will use and especially the model of graphics card.

MSTS use DirectX 8 to display its graphics and as of today, it seems that Nvidia only still supports this old version. ATI can simply not run and Intel, probably with weird graphic display with recent drivers.

If you're stuck with MSTS run on new hardware, see the suggestion I gave, on the use of Openrails as a new engine for MSTS. See this thread:

  • Windows Home Server - Hardware requirements

    Good afternoon

I am interested in creating a solution of Windows Home Server. I bought a Windows Home Server 2007 OEM media with the intention of creating my own solution, but never got around him a few years ago. My question for the community is the following: what are the hardware requirements for this solution?

For me, it's a question I think I should know, but for some reason any I am at a loss! I think I need at least 2 computers. The first is the server itself, the second is a stand-alone computer that connects to the network.

If you can give me some of the basic information I should know before diving into the Home Server I would really appreciate it. If you have all cards/articles that can help you with representation on what I need to do this would be as phenomenal.

    Thank you in advance!

I confess that I've never used WHS and have no idea about it but. I did some research on Google and found this: http://homeservershow.com/full-tutorial-on-how-to-install-and-setup-whs-version-1.html introduction which then link a fuller version here: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/9659/how-to-install-and-setup-windows-home-server/

I just dug my copy of train simulator, and it does not work on Windows 7 64-bit. Ideas please

Thank you very much for all your suggestions. "Iwent with."

This can help with some (but not all the) programs/drivers:

    (1) uninstall the program, if it is already installed. Then when install you / reinstall instead of double click on the Setup file, right click and select 'resolve compatibility issues.

    (2) then click on 'Try recommended settings' and in the next window, click on "Start the Program" to install it.

    (3) after he set up see if it works properly. Note: some programs may not be able to run in Windows 7.

    and it worked.

did anyone tried the version updated? I read some rather disappointing reveiws.

Once again my kind thanks for all your suggestions

  • Microsoft Train Simulator

    original title: msts

I have a dell insperon 1750 with windows 7 and love to play... microsoft train simulator the top keys (f1, f2, ect) are used for large orders for the game. the keys are programmed to do certain things like the volume ect. because they are used for stuff like that I can't use them for the game... no way to disable these things?

    Hi Railfan1,

I suggest you to press the F-Lock key on your key board when you play the game, which allows to disable function keys.

Toggle the F-Lock On or off by pressing the key. The placement of this key will vary dependent on the manufacturer. It is usually on the upper part of the keyboard, no matter where from the top left corner to a place on the top of the keypad. It is always marked F-Lock.

If the problem persists then I suggest you contact Dell technical support.

I am running Windows 7 (64-bit) Home Premium.

    Hi Mike,.
Sorry false alarm. I realized that, because I had connected TV and two screens enabled, every time I opened a window and resize the screen disappeared, but of course it would be showed on the TV (if it had been reactivated). Excuse me, but I'm a surfer of money of 82 and a little confused sometimes. Thanks for trying to help.

  • "Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012"

Message: I recently bought a simulation program PC "Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012"but when I got to install the program were advised "System is unable to read the specified device"
As says the information booklet accompanying that Windows XP is OK for this program, how is he does not accept it?
In my view, that it is recommended that XP has the latest service pack installed.  Do I have it and if not, how do I get it?
    Kind regards
    Peter McAdie

    Hi Peter,.

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

"I see that when you try to install"Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012"you get the error"system cannot read the specified device.

What phase you get the error?

    Try these steps and check:

    Step 1:

We will first of all check that you are working on a Windows XP 32 - bit or 64 - bit system.

See this link for more information:

How to determine whether a computer is running a 32-bit version or the 64 bit version of the Windows operating system. http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/827218

    Note:

There is no Service Pack 3 for Windows XP 64-bit, so if you have the 64-bit operating system, then Service Pack 2 is later and if you have 32 bit then Service Pack 3 is the last.

    Step 2:

To find out what service pack is installed on the computer try this:

Click Start, make a right click my computer, then Properties.

If Service Pack 3 is listed in the system section, SP3 is already installed on your computer and you do not need to follow the instructions below.

    Step 3:

If Service Pack 3 is not installed then please refer to this link for help:

Learn how to install Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows/help/learn-how-to-install-Windows-XP-Service-Pack-3-SP3

In addition, if you install the game using a CD then please refer to this link as well:
