  Microsoft Train Simulator is not listed as compatible with Windows Vista now on its website.

  However, you can try and install it.  Run it in compatibility mode XP instead.  It might still work this way.

  I have windows vista and I recently upgraded Java 6 update 23 and my program mp3 Rocket quit working, he kept sayingnot to access c libmp3Rocket jar, so I tried to uninstall the update of java, but when I click on uninstall it says preparing to remove, but then the account control user box pop up to ask if I leave this program not identified to my computer and I click on access to the so then he says to it you please wait while Windows configures java, but its only up there for a second and then the box disappears, and then the update is still there, nothing happened.  I went to the site of java to check my java version and have downloaded the update of java 6 22, but he always says that something is wrong. Java does not work.  And I tried to open mp3 rocket after java 6 update 22 d/l would be and now, nothing happened, is no longer, box pops up saying cannot access c, but the program does not come either.  Does anyone know how can I get rid of the update of java 6 23, I think that's the problem, but it just will not, uninstall I think I need strength somehow remove it.

  and click on the Red help button now great.  Ask for help to uninstall manually.

  We found it!

  Our IT Department has been able to dig up in the driver package and finally managed to uninstall.

  Something has been damaged and the pilot wouldn't uninstall correctly.

  This fixed the problem beautifully.

• Support Assistant does not and will not uninstall

  I have HP Pavilion g series laptop running Windows 7 and used and fairly regularly updates from HP support Assistant.  Recently, whenever I try to run HP Support Assistant I get the message "HP Support Assistant has stopped working"

  When I continue and follow the link "Check online for a solution", nothing happens.

  I tried the uninstall programs and features in Control Panel, but it will not uninstall.  When the uninstall process early, I get an error message: -.

  "Error1316 a network error has occurred trying to read the file C:\Windows\Installer\HPSupportAssistant.msi.

  Uninstalling then rolls back leaving the program on the computer and it is still in the list of installed programs and features.

  Therefore, I am unable to do a clean install of HP Support Assistant. I tried to install on the version on my computer and get a message "the following file is already on your computer c:\setup\SP64126\Metro.xml you want to overwrite this file?  I click 'Yes to all' installation is over in a Flash and Assistant support still does not work. The same message reappears. A vicious circle. How can I uninstall?

  What is the product number of the laptop?

  Try these,.

  Run this FixIt before performing the steps below.

  1. download the executable HPSA you product site (OR) click on the portable computer option listed here at the top right of the page.

  2 download and install 7-Zip.

  3. open 7 - Zip and browse to the executable file HP Support Assistant.

  4. right click on the OGANotifier_ENU.msi HPSA and select 7 - Zip > Archive open.

  5. a new window should open, showing a folder without a name.

  6. click on the icon of the snippet at the top of 7 - Zip.

  7. a window should open asking where you want to extract this file.

  Choose a location and name a folder to make it extracted.  For example, c:\users\username\documents\hpsa and this file without a name would be extracted from this place.

  8. in Windows, navigate to this newly extracted folder.  Click UninstallHPSA.exe, and then select run as administrator.

  Delete SP64126 C:\Setup folder if its seen here

  9. now that the uninstall program is run in administrator mode, REBOOT.

  10. once the system is back on again & loaded completely, go to the extracted folder.  Right click on setup.exe, and select run as administrator.

  11. follow the installer until you get a successful installation message.

  This would remove HP Support Assistant and reinstall it.

  I read the fix as it is to uninstall and reinstall manually but in the "installed updates" area of windows, if I click on any other update, uninstall link is appears... but NOT with kb954430. I can't uninstall it because there is no option to do so (i.e. no link uninstaller).  How to uninstall another way?

  Do you remember when was the last time copying and pasting worked?
  It would be not less than 15 days ago?
  If so, to make a system restore?  Choose the date where the copy/paste functioned as your restore point.
  Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
  To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.

  Upgrade version of Windows 7 is good to upgrade a previous version installed and activated Windows.
