  You cannot send contacts using bluetooth, but you can copy all contacts from the sim card and after this copy contacts from the SIM in the BlackBerry phone

  Go to the menu, contacts, press menu, phonebook sim, press menu again and copying all contacts.

  I have a 8900, in India and uses the data plan to monitor my personal mail.

  Problem is that 'contacts' shows

  * no contacts *.

  When I go into the options of contacts to the sim phone book (Contacts > sim directory) I can see on 25 contacts. I tried to copy all contacts from the sim directory, but it is not yet appear in contacts (Contacts > sim directory > copy all contacts). When I click this, a status bar goes to 100% in a second, but still show contacts * no contacts *.

  I saved many contacts on this device through the registry of calls and messages, and so when I go on (Contacts > options > contact lists > defauly) the number of entries 320 poster. I noticed it increases as and when I add new contacts.

  Still no contact indicated in "contacts". Therefore have to dial each number of contacts before making a call or the call registry search.

  Can someone help me pls with this. In the meantime if someone could help to let me know how I can make my call register not forget calls to say 10 days or last 100 entries.

  This can be an easy fix. On your BlackBerry go to Contacts, press Menu, and select filter. Make sure that you disable the filters which are placed.

  I loved my Curve 8330 from Verizon who was running v4.3.0.127 (Platform 3.1.0.72) and had the BB Dimension icon theme. When the ring around the ball fell, the company gave me a nifty new Verizon Curve 9330 6.0 Bundle 1741 (v6.0.0.431, platform 4.4.0.315), running with the theme "BlackBerry 6 f...". "by default (can not read the whole name of it). I'm usually very happy for advancements in technology, but after having this phone for a little over a week, I'm ready to throw into the river! I just want my old phone back!

  Is it possible to replace the software on my new 9330 with the version I had on my 8330? I have the 8330 yet and the disks that came with it. Or, if this is not possible, the BB Dimension icon theme are for the version of the software that I use on the 9330? Anyone know where to find?

  If this does not work, if I had to find a replacement 8330 phone, does anyone know if I could find even the old software that I liked so much?

• BlackBerry Smartphones new BB Curve 8330 through Verizon

  I just bought my first BB Curve 8330, through Verizon.  I noticed that some downloads will not install on my BB via the Manager of office (like the game of Sudoku) free on this site.  The office displays an error message indicating "no additional applications designed for your device were found".  Are there restrictions based on the provider of telephone service with regard to this software I can install it on my BB?

  I just changed the inclination of AT & T for the Curve 8330 on Verizon's network, and so far I'm in love. I'm having a problem however, the "Media" icon is missing and I can't seem to get it back.

  -"OPTIONS - ADVANCED OPTIONS - HOST the TABLES of ROUTING CLICK on IT. "MENU KEY-SELECT REGISTER NOW" fix.

  -The 'Email SETTINGS - SERVICE - SEND SERVICE BOOKS' difficulty.

  All to nothing does not.  The media icon is still missing. Any ideas?

  Nevermind, I'm a * beep *. Apparently the media icon has been moved to the file 'Documents To Go', and I just had to bring it back up to the main screen.

  I tried to use the Desktop Manager software supplied and had two phones connected via USB to my PC.

  I made sure to uncheck the transfer of everything except DATA, which was the only solution. I had no way to go just in a finer selection, like the ability to select only Contacts.

  The Desktop Manager has replaced during ALL my DATA on the storm, including the default mail server, etc..

  I was still able to make calls, but could not receive email or messages from BB because it crushed everything I had

  Can someone direct me as to how to properly use the Desktop Manager so I can just transfer my Contacts.

  Did you use the switch device Wizard in the BlackBerry Desktop Manager?

  Do... to make a complete backup of the 8800 using Desktop Manager > backup. Make a note of where on your PC that the backup is saved as well as the name.

  Now connect the new storm device to the USB port, open Desktop Manager again. Open the backup/restore > advanced.

  Find the backup file in the left pane (use file > open if it does not appear immediately). Located in the database of the address book on the left side and click on the right arrow in the middle to move data to the new device. Follow the prompts and complete the process.

  You can import excel to Outlook, for a single method, and synchronize your Outlook file using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

  Another is to export the Excel file to an ASCII text file and then import it directly (without Outlook) using the Desktop Manager.
