Transition from Windows to Windows 10 8.1 any program changes required?

I intend in the coming weeks to upgrade to Windows 10.

Is there a software update required after this upgrade & if so where can I find it?

Make sure that you install "Lenovo Companion" and "Lenovo's settings" of the Windows store once you have upgraded. Companion of Lenovo will also follow if the new or updated software Lenovo (BIOS, drivers, utilities) are available for download and installation.

  • Download software OEM - transition from Windows to Mac

I bought an OEM version of download of CS5 Master Suite 4 years and have used it extensively since then. Now, I bought a MacBook Pro and need to move to a Mac OS version of my Adobe software. Using the information in my original buy email I tried to access the customer download area of the supplier site, but it just seems to be a software/services page of advertising and no information of the customer. Adobe has informed me that I have to get the key to series of the provider to be able to switch platforms, but I can't seem to be able to do.

The provider is called solution customers apparently - it's the download/support URL: DELETED

has anyone else dealt with them / bought software or has tips on how to get my serial key?

[Link removed... buy OEM software outside the agreement is not supported by Adobe... MOD]

What you describe... download the seller and... serial number indicates strongly that you bought by mistake of HACKED and HACKED software

There is no way to do anything with this software, because I am very close to 100% sure that's not legal

  • I recently changed from Windows to Mac, how can I change that on my driver's license

    @

    Hello BarbsNicholas,

in my library, I found this:

with CC, you can use the software on a PC and Mac OS. The Adobe ID is used for the activation process. Previously, you could activate only on two instances of the same operating system. This restriction has been removed. Also, if you connect to a third computer on which you installed CC, you are automatically connected on one of the earlier computers where you are logged in.

Adobe has this given these tips:

http://helpx.Adobe.com/creative-cloud/FAQ.html > can I use the software I download creative cloud on more than one machine? > Yes. Creative desktop cloud applications can be downloaded and installed on multiple computers, regardless of the operating system. However, the activation is limited to two machines per person associated with membership. See the terms of use for more information. Learn how to turn off a CC license on a machine.

  • error code 0 x 80070002 "Windows could not complete any requested change '"WindowsCannot find the file specified. "

    Windows 8

Hello I get error code 0 x 80070002 when I try to play downloaded games.  I tried to play Roller Coaster Tycoon and Age of Empires 2, downloaded from Steam and I get this error even for the two games.  I searched around, and it seems that other people with this error code have very different problems (any of them get trying to run a game).

    Any help would be great.

    Hello Trevor,

    Please provide the necessary details.

From the description, I see that the problem is specific to games that are downloaded from Steam. Adding weight to this statement, I noticed that you are able to play games without any problem. I suggest you contact the community Steam Support to improve assistance in this regard.

  • How to downgrade this laptop from Windows 8 (plain) to Windows 7 Pro?

I bought a laptop that has plain old Windows 8 on it and I need to downgrade from Windows 7, because our database program does not work with Windows 8.  I contacted Dell and they said I should be able to install Windows 7 on this laptop.  I have a license for Windows 7 Pro.  I put Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) with SP 1 on a DVD.

First of all, it's weird, because I tried to back up (create a system image) of Windows 8 and has been unable to do.  I have an external hard drive with 222 GB free, and says saving it would be approximately 22 GB.  Always backup said that he was unable to create the image, because there was not enough room.  I finally gave up, because I really hate Win8 now, so I don't care if I have a backup.

Second, I put the DVD in the laptop and tried to start the installation.  He was not able to apply the updates to install, it failed with error code 0 x 0.  I gave up and just went forward in any case.  He gets up for where it restarts the laptop, and then I get a black screen that indicates a bad signature file.  Specifies the file is \$WINDOWS.~. BT\Windows\system32\winload. EFI.  It gives a code 0xc0000428 State and said that the "digital signature could not be verified."

I called the support for volume licensing Center, and he said that he did a search on the status code and found that someone said to use gpedit.msc to deactivate the digital signature verification.  But he did not know how to find in Windows 8.  Well, it turns out that this is the editor of group policy, which is not regular old Windows 8.  More that he couldn't help me without me.  But he said that I should be able to install Windows 7 on this laptop.

I just install Windows 7 Pro on this laptop.  How can I do that and substitute the verification of digital signature?

Go into the bios and see if there is an option for legacy startup or disable secure boot.

  • Transition from XP to Windows 7, can't locate the little information?

I'm not very savvy of computer programming. As indicated, I have Windows XP 2002, service pack 3. Follow the instructions in Microsoft XP to find the number of "bits: under the property system.» Unable to find these.

Also, should I move from XP to 7?

    * original title - change from XP to Windows 7?  XP version 2002, Service Park 3. Cannot find info.* bits

You probably have XP 32 bit, namely:

If your computer is running Windows XP, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start.

    2. Do right click my computer and then click Properties.

      • If you don't see "x 64 Edition" in the list, then you are running 32-bit Windows XP.

      • If "x 64 Edition" is listed under system, you are running the 64 bit version of Windows XP.

    Installation custom own steps

    Time to use:
Or the transition from XP to 7, not supported in place upgrade paths (ex: Vista Home Pro 7)
A Windows system to 32 bit on a 64 bit system, or change the language
Don't want to make a room upgrade, or if you want a fresh install / clean

You can use a Full Windows 7 or upgrade disk to do a custom clean install. This will remove all of your programs, but you can save your files and settings on an external storage before doing so. You will need to reinstall all your programs after installing Windows 7. Here are the steps:

    1. start Windows Upgrade Advisor to see if there are known problems that might affect installation and if you can install the 32-bit or the 64 bit version of Windows 7.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/downloads/Upgrade-Advisor

    2. backup all your files and settings to avoid losing documents, photos and other information. Windows Easy Transfer is a free tool to copy files (not programs) from your PC and then transfer back after installation of Windows 7. If you don't want to use Windows Easy Transfer, you can copy your files to a Flash DRIVE or CD/DVD. Note: The easy transfer will not work when changing languages, or when moving from 64 bit to 32 bit (it will work ranging from 32-bit to 64-bit).
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/Windows-easy-transfer

    3. find the discs installation and license/product associated to all your programs keys, because you have to manually reinstall all programs. If you have downloaded some Internet programs you can redownload them.

    4. Insert the Windows 7 DVD in your PC. When asked "which type of installation do you want?" click "Custom (advanced)." Note: 32 to 64-bit requires restart and boot from the DVD.

    5. when Windows 7 is installed, you can use Windows Easy Transfer (or a different backup method you used) to restore your files & settings and use your installation disks to reinstall all your programs. Then you're done - take advantage of Windows 7.

  • Flash Player on the transition to Windows 7

I've just updated my operating system from Windows XP to Windows 7 Pro (SP1). I can't install Adobe Flash plugin for fire Fox and Seamonkey on Windows 7. I managed to install Flash internal Explorer, and Chrome.

I have tried many remedies offered on your web site and various blogs - all without success. They included uninstalling Ad-blocking, suspending the firewalls and Antivirus systems, uninstall and reinstall Flash etc. I am currently on version 16 of Flash.

With Windows XP Flash worked on all browsers without any problems. I use the same Dell 9200PC without modification.

Is there any fix that I missed this annoying problem?

  • Can I switch from Windows XP to Windows 7 by installing Windows 7 without uninstalling XP?

Original title: improvement of the operating system.

Can I switch from Windows XP to Windows 7 by installing Windows 7 without uninstalling XP?

Yes, and in fact you must do in order to qualify for the upgrade price.  You must realize, however, this update of XP to 7 involves a "custom installation" - that is, you must save your data first (on external support) and to reinstall all your applications after that Win 7 is running.

Under certain circumstances, installing Windows 7 might create a windows.old file, but it's not clear to me what is stored in memory in the transition from XP to 7. you will certainly be able to run one of your older applications without having to reinstall them.  See, for example, http://www.chron.com/business/silverman/article/Going-from-Windows-XP-to-Windows-7-It-s-not-1609463.php

  • The transition to Windows 7 pro for Windows 10 Pro for Adobe CC

    Hi all

I would like to get comments on the transition to Windows 7 Pro for Windows 10 Pro. I'm currently running windows 7 pro 64-bit with Creative cloud mainly for video editing applications (Organization, After effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, hearing etc... (I always use first CS6 and Encore CS6 for some projects more elders and Authoring).

My computer configuration is the following:

-Windows 7 Pro Service pack 1

-Processor Intel Core i7-4960 X [email protected]

    -Motherboard: Asus P9X79

    -64 GB of RAM

-SSD 512 GB Pro 840 Samsung

    -2 x ASUS GeForce GTX780

-9To hard (3 x 3-Western Digital Caviar Black) in Raid 0 for video work

-Hard disk data CaviarBlack WD 2 TB

I would evaluate whether it's a good idea to transition to windows 10 pro, is the update is going to be done automatically without having to reinstall all the software?

I'd appreciate your comments of a person with a configuration similar to mine, or by experts from Adobe

    Thanks in advance
