Try using ' Firefox/file > exit ' (Mac: ' Firefox > leave ";) Linux: "file > exit ') to close Firefox if you're doing that by clicking on the X close in the title bar.

Using this method to close Firefox can work better.

  • Storage of ThinkPad Twist

    Hello!

This will be like a silly question, but I can't answer on my own, so I thought I would ask here.

My company has just purchased a Lenovo's ThinkPad Twist for me (I'm a big fan of Lenovo). I'm just trying to give a sense specifications for storage. In my local disk system details, he said I have a 456 GB HDD (which I understand to be the hard drive), but on the fact sheet on the product, it says 128 GB SSD (that I understand to be a solid state drive). I think it means that I have both, in other words, I have storage hybrid, right? And if I don't have a hybrid storage, is it correct to assume that the solid state drive is used to store my files on the system and it is inaccessible as usable for me storage space, right? I noticed that the speed at which the system starts and I know that it is an advantage of SSDS. I like that!

I learn only recently on the SSDS and I am eager to learn more. I would appreciate any information anyone! Thank you!

The most common for a twist storage options are either:

    (1) HARD drive coupled with a small mSATA SSD storage (about 24 GB) hybrid. In this configuration, the SSD is used only as a caching drive. Transparent caching disk data caches to speed up startup and operating system and is generally not accessible to the user. If you have a caching drive, it is usually as a disk 1 tab of the Task Manager performance and disk 0 is normally the main drive.

    (2) SSD without disk caching. More full-size SSD being faster than the getting started disc cache which is included on these models, there is no point in adding in an mSATA cached disk.

Your business could have gone with configuration, either a custom when ordering the machine configuration. You can watch the PO to determine how your company has decided to set up the machine.

  • Appellant not ringing before connecting edge

I used to live in a place with bad signals LTE so I stopped using the appellant advance. I recently moved so I was him giving a run once again. After turning on advance call back, I used to hear the ringtone before making a connection, now I have not. It is silent, until a connection is made. I rebooted my phone without success. Someone at - it experience with this problem or knows how to solve? I really don't want to make a transparent cache because they take 20 + minutes on my device. Variant of 64 GB. This will be my next step however.

  • Impossible to install W8.1, impossible to install the KB2862973 update with error code 80073712, cannot connect to the microsoft account

I have 64-bit Windows 8 and all these problems started when I tried to install the 8.1 update.  Whenever I try to go to the store to update to 8.1 I get the error message saying "we were unable to connect to the store. This could have happened due to a server problem or network connection has expired.  Please wait a few minutes and try again. "So I looked at this topic and you have tried all the tips of help from Microsoft, convenience stores, store transparent cache, etc. etc. etc. etc.. I can not connect to the store at all. Now I can't change users to a Microsoft account because it tells me that when I try that "we could not connect to the Microsoft services right now.  If this problem persists, look for 'referee' on the start screen. "I also performed this task without success.  Then I have a Windows update KB2862973 that fails to install and gives the error code 80073712.  I looked for solutions to this problem, and those who have tried unsuccessfully.  I really need someone to tell me how to fix all these issues, because I believe they should be linked.  It is a desktop pc Dell that is connected to the internet without any problem and is only about 1 year. I am tech savy, but need HELP!

    Thank you

Thanks for the detailed response. This problem may be caused because corrupted Windows Update components.

I suggest you to reset the Windows Update components and check if it helps.

How to reset the Windows Update components?

  • Circular frame

I work in a project of 1920 x 1080 in first 10 elements. Curious to know if there is a way to cut a circle for a clip plays in a circular frame. (with a black screen outside the circle)  Of course it would save a part of the image which I am fine with to try this idea.

    adobenewbie123

How are you doing with your second look at the creation of your circle in the titration of 10 items first?

Right now, you should have the circle created with space inside the circle for your movie.

Now, the rest of the story.

Title of your circle on the video Track 2

Your video on the video 1 track

But, no matter what you do, you will see the photograph of landscape, beyond the circle. Then...

Go to change the header video/effects/keying effects and choose one of the caches to hang out in

the video on the video 1 track. (Maybe start with the cover sixteen points.

Principle of mast garbage... Everything in the cache points is visible, nothing outside of the transparent cache is not.

Highlight / video selection on the video 1 track and take the Garbage Matte points and use them to set the video as a circle.

    Tips...

To see these dots on the screen to settle in place, in the video properties, have 16 points

Garbage Matte Panel selected (highlighted black see Panel).

To make sure that you have chosen track (video on the video track 1), right click on the screen, select Select, and

Make sure that you have selected the name of the video on the video 1 track.

  • Content Flash (i.e. games) does not save

I had this problem since at least Flash 10... hoped that 11 is going to fix it, but no dice.  I'm pretty sure 100% that it was an upgrade to PS that caused this, because he has no other changes to the system before it started to happen (other than Flash updated).  Here's what's happening.

I use Chrome, my wife uses IE.  She IE set to erase the cache, cookies, etc., whenever it comes out.  The problem is, apparently, there is something in the way Flash handles the content in browsers which causes all my saved content Flash in Chrome be struck through, when it leaves IE.

For example, if I play a game, say, armorgames.com, I can save my game very well. If I close and reopen the Chrome and revisit the site, my backup data set will always be there.  However, if I save my game and close Chrome, then my wife load IE and closes, if I return to the game in Chrome, my save data are gone.  This happens on all websites where Flash stores local content.  Sometimes, even if it does go to the same sites I go to.

As I see it, there are only 3 solutions to my problem.  That, my wife and I could use separate computers (not really an option because we cannot immediately another machine).  Two, she can stop having IE erase all personal data to the output (also not an option, she prefers to maintain a certain level of privacy protection when she sails).  Three, Adobe may deliver a fix for Flash Player that prevents this from happening.

One question: the same thing would happen if she used the InPrivate browsing for each session of IE?  Or this removes still saved locally all the Flash content to the output?  If it's a viable option, please let me know.  If there is no alternative workaround for this, I'd be happy to try.

Here is how I have the options set on the Settings Manager:

Global storage settings - 1 MB of space allowed; «Allow third-party Flash content...» "and"store common Flash components... ". "is both checked

Storage site settings - I had this game at 1 MB, but while they inspected again this afternoon, it has been reset to zero. I went to a different tab and then back to the storage site and it was back to none... This could be the problem?  If so, how should I do?

Now, some features of the system.  The two browsers (IE, 8.0.7601.17514, Chrome 14.0.835.202 m) having the latest version of the installed PC.  System is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  Any other stats available on request.

    Thanks in advance!

I have confirmed that your option for your wife use private browsing would be viable.  the LSO is kept in memory and is erased when it ends its session.  so make sure you turn off the transparent cache when closing in IE and have her use the private browsing feature.  You can probably pass a parameter in the shortcut.

    • Right click on the shortcut to IE > properties
    • Add "-private" without the quotes in the path of the shortcut
    • Save the changes
    • Double-click the shortcut
    • You should be in by default private browsing
  • Major project of Greenscreen.  Workflow?

Just curious as to what that all the workflows for a larger project of greenscreen.  I don't usually do a lot of greenscreen, maybe 15 cups worth on 3 Staples per project.

But now I have a larger project with cameras shots 40 + x 3 each (Multicam) and now I'm get boggled down.  My project is starting to look like a war zone, and I'm looking for an alternative.

    MY CURRENT WORKFLOW

    1. I import my images of GS to PP chronology.
    2. Ask 4 cameras sequence in a sequence of 'root level' to synchronize multicam as usual. (layers 1-4).
    3. Drop 'root' the sequence in a sequence of 'MC', select edit, etc. (the normal drill for editing multicamera) MC
    4. Make my cuts, remove the fat
    5. back to my sequence root of the MC (where are my 4 cameras), send each clip to After Effects for the strike and the camera color matching via dynamic links.
    6. Go back to the first and complete Keylight and my other corrective color layers on the clips do not see me real time at first, so I
    7. make on a weak ground. MOV w / alpha of each element of the AE - clips of proxy (adding images more to my project)
    8. Move at full resolution, dynamicaaly what AE related to key clips (my those final, good) on 5-8 layers
    9. Proxy place clips on layers 1-4 at level root of Multicam on top.
    10. Proxy videos get good reading
    11. Continue edititing project until everything is perfect
    12. Back to all my root multicam sequences and swap linked what AE comps proxies. (and I hope that I don't miss any)

Surely, I am doing something stupid here because when I am all done, I have a gazillion clips everywhere and a bazillion what AE comps everywhere too.  Suggestions for the way YOU work or when you think I'm on leave would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

Well, certainly start with a transparent cache (probably at least point 8) around the subject. This eliminates a large part of the screen that you don't have to worry about keying (which you can see in the clip of mast).

I use the Eyedropper to select the color of the screen; Hold CTRL for example a slightly larger region - and click a few different place around until you find the best color to start with. Then I go back through the mast build settings to set the matte; I've usually drag them on full-tilt and then again until I get a good clean key. It is convenient to be able to see the screen and alpha at the same time, so open a reference monitor and Alpha; This way you can let the exit effect Composite value. You will need to disable your background layer, however, you can see the effect of the alpha in the reference monitor (as a sequence is really transparent, not black).

Once you get the screen twisted, deepen Matte Cleanup to refine the edges. If you have a good key implemented in the production of mast, should not to really do much here - and a little goes a long way. Finally, Supression of spills can help you clean up the edges, where you will have a small green purge - especially if your subject is a bit too close to the screen. I do not use the ultra Color Correction; It is super basic, and given that the other more powerful CC effects are GPU accelerated, they work great if you stack them after the Ultra twist right off to key.

It is very common practice when it comes to typing, as you probably know. A lot of it has to do with the right material to begin with, but I've even saved some really terrible shots with Ultra. Once you get a hang of works Ultra, you can check out through your entry work - preview real is a huge advantage.

  • Beginner: logo to take the bottom hand like clean background

    Hey guys,.

Currently I'm learning Fireworks & dreamweaver through tutorials. I have a logo (white with text) that I want to put on a red background that has a gradient.

I tried to give him a transparent cache and tried to use red in the background, the two wasn't satisfying.

    How can I do this?

    Thanks for any help.

Place the text logo on a transparent background layer or a workspace.  I use Fireworks but in Photoshop, it would be a checkered background.  Save for web in PNG or GIF transparent.  Jpg does not support transparency, but the GIF and PNG images only.

  • Remove the video color gradient background - need help

    Hi all

I turned my son play the violin on a white background today and what was white pure didn't turn out to be very white, I have gray

areas, out of white areas because of the poor lighting.

I want the background to be whiter and more even than it is right now.

I thought of the video from track 1 to track 2.

I added a title, which consists of a big white box (using the tool of retangular I just drew a large white retangle which covers the surface of entire movie)

Now to remove some of this background white, I thought I would try some of the tools below to remove the real backdrop and let the white retangle

track 1 come through. (so that the pure white comes through track 1).

I was going through the different options.

    -Chroma Key

    -Color key

    -Color change

    -Change color

After 30 minutes of autour fldding, I thought I would just stop and ask for help.  How would you proceed with this?

    What process would you use?

I'm just puzzled as to which tool is best suited for a job like this, because for now, my results are not to my taste and it is difficult to get something

    It looks well at all.

    Thanks for any help,

    Dave.

    Dave,

If you happen to have the Ultra CS3, this would be my first choice. Following would be Keylight in AE. If you do not, you can try to remove a part of the background with a transparent cache and try to key in PR remains with chroma keying.

  • is a necessary to connect to the database Cache IS transparent gateway?

    Hello

I was invited by one of our developers how to create a connection of its Oracle 11.2 to SQL Server and also InterSystems Cache database ' databases without having to use the transparent gateway?

Is it possible, and if so, how can it be done?

    (Thanks in advance)

    Hello
You say - "I guess that means that the Oracle database gateway is FREE (SE)" but to make the point again - the gateway of database for ODBC (DG4ODBC) is free. The other gateways require a license.
If you are running on Windows, then most of the Microsoft's ODBC drivers are free or included as part of other products, so you don't need to pay for them, and many providers of database non-Oracle also include a pilot ODCB as part of the product, once again there is no need to pay for anything else to use DG4ODBC for example MySQL.

To interface with a Database Cache, you can use Dg4ODBC but you must provide the ODBC driver. There is not a "dedicated" for this product database gateway. That's why we provide the DG4ODBC which can interface with a non-Oracle or data store database for which an ODBC driver is available.
This available on My Oracle Support note contains information on the installation on different plates-formes-notes

Note to master note.1083703.1 for the Oracle Gateway products

    Kind regards
    Mike
