  Hi, I have a transparent text where you could see the video in the text.  I use several videos that I placed and already edited in Premiere Pro CS6, and I would like to import a video file with the transparent text After Effects into Premiere Pro.  I want to use AF instead of title in PP machine because the text extends from 4000% and I can't do a text that great in Premiere Pro.  All advice is appreciated.

  Hi all

  I'm just starting to soak my feet in Dw as part of a COMPUTER program. The only thing I know is a basic level of the HTML language. We have not yet learned how to write CSS manually, but that is coming up very soon. Why they don't teach us that first of all I don't understand, but at this point told us not to touch the code in Dw, only to do it all in Design view. It's the twist. My guess is that they want us to be able to refer to our work later and see what the code is only as we designed it our website.

  Now, what I try to do an assignment is to create a Web site simple, and in the div of the main content I want to make a semi-transparent text box with rounded corners which can take up to 90% or the width of the div content. Is it possible to do this in Design view? I don't see that this explained in the code.

  Thanks for any help. I know it's probably one of the dumbest questions out there, but I'm in this to learn.

• Font change when I do a transparent text box

  Hi all

  I've been using Captivate 4 for over a year and come across a strange event.

  When I change a background color, a type of box caption text such as the style, and blue, adobe pop - up etc, transparent, fonts adobe type change what I initially had, and I cannot restore.

  For example I use Verdana 12 black in blue adobe legend. When I change this transparent font style something else, even if the application has always said the police is Verdana 12 black. It is very obvious that this is another font Verdana as the other text on the slide that has not been changed to transparent seems very different from the police of transparent text box.

  This font looks nothing like Verdana as it is smaller and thicker; It looks like Arial Black, if it is not quite that.

  This change happens when I use a box of text on its own or combined with a roll text box more slidelet.

  Does anyone have an idea what is happening, and I should post this bug fixes?

  You have anit-alias active? You can find it in preferences, project, quality, and size of the SWF. If so, try to disable and look at the results.

• Transparent text - example of joint

  Usually, to make my transparent text, I would reduce the opacity so that you can see the object directly below.  However, I have a problem how to make a graph of work whereby there is a picture on the background, a color box on top that and, finally, the text on top of that.  The problem is transparency watch only through the layer immediately below and not the bottom image.  It is hard to describe so I have attached an example.

  As you can see in the example, there is a yellow box under the text (no doubt), but the text is transparent so that you can see the image behind.  Any ideas?  Can't find in aid of Illustrator.

  C3, I'm trying to apply the MS Sans Serif font to text in a transparent text caption. He restores it to Arial. Any suggestions?

  Well I blow down. This is the weirdest solution yet:

  With a type of legend [transparent], if I select the text and apply the MS reference specialty (which is the font set above MS Sans Serif on my list of fonts) THEN apply MS San Serif, it works. Otherwise, if I start with another cast - including the default Arial - I can't apply MS Sans Serif.

  BTW, my tasks were updated, so it wasn't the solution. But thank you Rick and Kerry for prompting me to check.

  This can be very simple, but have failed to do it again. Have tried all the effect different merger on the text layer, but so that it makes the text more transparent it becomes too dark, how to avoid this? And while Im at it, it is the final effect of I'm looking for with the whole project.

  Well, that's the whole issue of blend modes - they mix the two values in pixels. The only way to change the behavior would be to also change the bottom layer. In your case, several copies of the text tinted different colors and where the modes in different opacities of merger should do the trick. Sometimes there is no one-click solution to achieve a specific look.

• Non-transparent text inside the transparent div

  Hello, I can't do my text remains 100% opaqe inside a div transparent. I use an example from this site: http://css-tricks.com/384-non-transparent-elements-inside-transparent-elements/. I tried a few different websites and they all explain to do likewise. However, I don't think it still works. The text becomes transparent with the background color of .bar but not the background image, so if you do not use a black background for .bar then the text will not look correct. Sorry if I'm still a little difficult... Here is my code:

  As you can see, the only property that I changed is in this context on .bar from black to white, and now the text is transparent to this color, so it seems white. I saw people saying that they have applied a background with a solid color square with a 50% opacity or something similar, however I find tutorials on how to do it. They are all just explained how to change the transparent canvas. I even tried to adjust the opacity of a solid white square in fireworks at 50% opacity, and it does not, either. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

  Use a background transparent semi-image.png rather than opacity.

  The problem with opacity, is that it delivers this purpose to anything you put inside this container.

• How to: transparent text with border and transparent text box?

  I would like to place a callout directly on an image that has a transparent semi information, but retains the fully opaque text. If I create a < div > class with a transparent background, it seems that everything in this div retains the same opacity settings, even if I reset it with the < div > elements.

  Is there a way to get around this?

  I was trying to avoid additional images.

  A picture is sometimes a better choice.  Use a very small semi-transparent png image and repeat.  Background image can be as small as 2 pixels x 2 if very small.

  The problem with an opacity of CSS, it's that you need different rules for each browser engine: Moz, webkit, IE...

  And opacity extends to everything inside, this text is gray.  For this reason, I prefer to use an image instead of opacity CSS.

• Transparent text caption font problem

  My transparency settings seem to be stuck with a sort of ongoing kerning. I use Comic without, 14pt, and he looks exactly like wait me in the .cp file, but when the publication, the text will appear smaller with low spacing between the letters. I'm in Captivate 3 and all the other text box styles work fine. Any ideas? Thank you, Joe

  You can:

  (1) describe the fonts and Uncompound/separate/whatever necessary;

  (2) select the letters and the object > path > offset by a negative value equal to the thickness left on each side of the gap.

  (3) deselect, then Direct select each of the end of the Anchor Points which is inside the letter or the forms and the ShiftClickDrag it outside the shape of the letter in question;

  (4) apply to Pathfinder > less before.

  You can work on single letters or letters at the same time according to the preparations in 1) and other things you can do between 3) and 4).

  I looked through inspire them to Adobe Magazine and found something really amazing: the editor is added an effect of text-more-photo several times throughout the magazine (see http://inspire.adobe.com/, October 2014.   I was really confused to see that it fits perfectly my current project. I'm building a book on a recent trip to Iceland, which will be available for the iPad in the near future. So far, I used Adobe InDesign CC to create virtually the entire book, because I know little or nothing to the programming.
