Trapezoidal profile of limit mask Test limit

So one of our proportional valves, let's use the gain scheduling setpoint profile to create a current trapezoidal entrance to the valve. This trapezoidal entry represents a cycle for the balance we're control (it is periodic and this profile is repeated for several cycles). I am establishing a system of integrated security and I am wanting to create a profile of limit which is basically a trapeze offset of +/-1 my. The larger and the smaller trapezoids would be constraints and one in the middle would be entered into the system. I don't want where if the input exceeds the trapeze inside or outside, the system switch in the safe state. I tried to use the mask and limit VI and defined my upper and lower limits by 4 different points for each limit but when I give him my input signal and observe the tested signal, I see is entered into the system with a horizontal line at y = 0, which is the limit of green. I can get the upper and lower limits continued to work, but I really want a more defined constraint closer since we are controlling a very large structure. What I am doing wrong? I have attached a picture of the entrance to the system.

-Thank you

Hello

In my view, that the problem is that you have enough datapoints defining the upper and lower limits.  You have placed only coordinates of the vertices of each trapezoid.  The mask and the limit test VI do not automatically generate datapoints between these points, he needs a complete set of datapoints defining the whole graph.

Your input data have datapoints much more than the actual limit, you have defined, this is why it appears as a line at y = 0.  It traces four points on a graph which has probably a lot more data on the entry points.  You must generate trapezoidal form signals and son of these signals in the upper and lower of the express VI limit entries.  In this way, that you don't have to fill all the datapoints manually.

Below, I have included a LabVIEW project example that shows how to proceed.  I used this example to create a Subvi to generate a trapezoidal form signal.  She uses the ramp functions to reconstruct a picture of datapoints that looks like a trapezoid.

I think you should use the Subvi "Generate trapeze", I have included in my project.  Generate the superior trapezius and lower outside the while loop with the same amount of datapoints that you expect your data entry.  This should save if you do not have to generate the waveform of processing each iteration of the loop.  It will look something like this:

  • Functions of mixture for three simple trapezoidal profiles

I'm trying to learn how to use the functions OR Motion Assistant, LabVIEW to create my own profiles, but I fight to get mix to work.

In the attached VI, I take three simple trapezoidal profiles and try to mix them. The code is based on the example provided "Blended move.vi", which combines two profiles.

As you can see, three trapezoidal profiles are individually fine (white, red, green), but when it went into the functions of merger there is a trip suddenly in the time during the second profile value, causing a terrible problem in the mixed profile. I can't prevent that from happening.

I use LabVIEW 2012 last NI SoftMotion Premium 2012 with NI Motion Assistant 2.8.

    Is this a bug?

    Hi Thoric,

National Instruments motion control is so advanced that step in time is no big deal. I hope you enjoy the feature.

In all seriousness, even if it is a bug, and according to your final goal, can have an appropriate workaround solution.

#1 goal: You want to make a move online mixed with OR motion. If this is the case, you can build your move mixed environmental Assistant Motion (that can handle 3 mixed movements), and then generate code LabVIEW, once you have the desired path. This generates a code of OR-Motion for the mixed movements 3 (or more). You won't get a table of positions and accelerations, speeds, but you will be able to send the appropriate to the Board of Directors NEITHER Motion commands and it will use the path that you specified.

#2 goal: You want the tables of speeds, positions and accelerations. If you care only real berries of set points, you can use SoftMotion place. I've attached an example that you will run on my computer. It currently allows to mix together the three movements of the single axis, but it could be expanded to do more. Let me know if you have any questions about the example (and please excuse the mess!).

  • mask test remotely with 6030 LeCroy oscilloscopes

    Hello everyone!

For automated testing, I have to use a mask for a road test, seeing the PASS/FAIL result.

I'm on WM-RCM-E_Rev_D_902208 (manual remote) .pdf but I did not any remote control to control the mask and read the result of test of mask (success or failure).

If possible, I would like to distance load a mask of the oscilloscope (or directly from the computer), the conditions test and read mask test result.

There is somewhere a list with these commands? If so would you please send it to me.

Have you other example/suggestions for me how to do?

    Thank you!

    Hi Nicu,

Use the VBS command to send the automation for the P/F feature strings, you're wanting access. Are the ranges of automation by running XStream browser; There is a shortcut to this application on the desktop of the scope. XStream browser displays the interface of automation of the scope; Connect to the "local scope" and then navigate to PassFail/Q1. The Q1 level, you will see the global settings. Go to the folder of the operator to see additional details.

    A few examples:

    To specify which file mask:

    VBS ' app. PassFail.Q1.Operator.Filename = "D:\Masks\100BaseT.msk" "

    To configure the condition:

    VBS ' app. PassFail.Q1.Operator.Condition = "AnyOut" "

    Reading the result of Q1:

VBS? "return = app. PassFail.Q1.Out.Result.Value' (returns-1 for true, 0 for false)

Proofreading the overall result of P/F

VBS? "return = app. PassFail.LastPass.Result.Value' (returns-1 for true, 0 for false)

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any additional questions.

There is nothing in this version; pga_aggregate_target has only a "target" value that may be exceeded where necessary.  The limit 'hard', as explained previously, is the available memory at the level of the o/s.  You could, I suppose, monitor the process memory and create a job to kill user Oracle processes consumes the memory above your pre-determined 'limit '.  You can also the limits of resources defined in the profile level ' limit ' memory usage but which has its own set of problems, it could create, such as the termination of the ongoing processes that exceed the limit of resources (such as the long-running queries which 'suddenly' stop working). put end users headaches.  What you do to limit the growth of the PGA will be not well received by end users because all this "fix" would involve murder or process sessions.

I hope you could provide a really good reason for asking this.

  • Limit the time of the session

    Friends,

In my oracle 10g database, the server process limit is 400 and session limit is 445.

    the process | 399. 400. 400. 400
    sessions | 406 | 408. 445. 445

Now the problem is, in my database, more than 100 users are added in the last week and for this reason, my database process crosses its limit (400). In this case, when a user tries to connect and then it gets error:

    "SQL > conn user@PROD".
    Enter the password:
    ERROR:

Right now, I don't want to increase the value of process and wanting to find the session that are idle for the last 10 minutes. Is there a setting in oracle that allows to discover the idle session?

Also, I want to disconnect users who are INACTIVE for 10 + minutes. How can I restrict it without using any profile and also not to increase the value of process $ v?

What you have done is just assign the user certain privileges. The roles connect as dba contains priv create session that's why you're able to connect. This has nothing to do with the profiles.

In fact high, why do I need to create a profile and assign it to a user? Second, how to create a profile?

As I said, the foregoing does not profile. Profile is a low level mechanism of support and control of consumption of resources to a user, for example how a user can do work, how long it can remain inactive, how many sessions it can open and so forth? It would certainly help to better control of the use of adapted. Each user is given a default profile by default. Other than that, you can create your own profile and can affect as follows.

The definitive answer can be found in the SQL reference for your version without the name of Oracle. Go to tahiti.oracle.com, drill down to the appropriate product and version, then try to CREATE a PROFILE in the end SQL reference manual.

Learn how to look for things in the documentation is good time invest in your career. To this end, you should drop everything you're doing and do the following:

    Go to tahiti.oracle.com.

    Explore your product and version.

    TO BOOKMARK THIS SITE

Spend a few minutes to familiarize yourself with what is available here. Take note special tabs "books" and "search". Under the tab "books", you will find the complete documentation library.

Spend a few minutes just know what kind of documentation is available by simply browsing the titles under the "Books" tab

Open the reference manual and spend a few minutes looking through the table of contents to familiarize yourself with what kind of information is available here.

Do the same with the SQL reference manual.

Do the same with the utilities manual.

Do not read the above in depth. These are reference manuals. Knowing that just getting here is to be referenced. Ninety percent of the questions on this forum can be answered in less than 5 minutes just looking for one of the books above.

Then, set a plan to dig deeper.
-Read a chapter a day from the Concepts manual.
-Take a look in your alert log. One of the first things listed at startup is the parms of initialized with default values. Find out about each of them (shown in your alerts log) in the reference manual.
-Take a look at your sqlnet.ora, listener.ora and tnsnames.ora files. Go to the manual of network administrators and ask about what you see in these files.
-When you have finished reading the manual of Concepts, do it again.
