• Link to the add-on broken - Tree Style Tab

  The add-on "Tree Style Tab" seems to have a broken link on the Mozilla site. The button on the page Add on that says 'Add to Firefox' points to an add-on called 'Hide My SSA IP Checker'. Attempts to install the add-on from the tree Style tab install the 'Hide My SSA IP Checker"instead.

• How can we recover the feature "Custom URL in a new tab" I had 12 v using new tab add-on?

  I REALLY need because I wrote my own custom web directory that I use throughout the day. It seems that the new behavior of new tab should be OPTIONAL. I had to go back to version 12, because it adds a few clicks whenever I ask a new tab much, several times a day in my work. I used the new URL of the tab add-n and it does not substitute the new feature.

  If you want to open a new tab in a some URLs (like www.google.com or another site) go to Subject: config find/type browser.newtab.url , double click (or right click on it and select Edit) and type the url you want. Whenever you open a new tab, you open it in this url/site.

• Why don't I see "Bookmark this page" any longer? I can't add a new bookmark.

  Is it possible to go back to the old way of adding and display of bookmarks? I can't add a new bookmark, and one of my "old" now appears in the 'most' visited bar (is no longer in my list of bookmarks). I tried to use the star to add bookmark, but the new URL does not appear in my list of bookmarks.

  'Bookmark this page' has been removed from the menu drop down.

  There are other ways to save a new bookmark.
  1. right click on the page and use "bookmark this Page".
  2 {Ctrl + D} from the keyboard.
  3. When you click once on the 'Star', the new bookmark is saved in the unsorted bookmarks folder. If you click twice, slowly, you will get a screen that allows you to select the folder in which to save the bookmark in.

• Lost the * active * tab in my toolbar bookmarks-how do I get?

  I'm still adjustment upward to my new computer (Windows 7), and while that my settings transferred Mozilla kindly, I tried to remove some the former * most visited * pages under the drop-down list of the same name and must have inadvertently clicked somewhere I wouldn't like my * most visited * tab is now absolutely gone and tried to restore default Favorites , but nothing seems to happen.

  Hello. My Bookmark star icon does not read my favorites. I can always use it to record the new bookmarks, but I don't see the 'old'. My Favorites are still there, but the star remains white when I open them and shows them as not saved. Thanks in advance for any help!

  You should take a look at this article in the Knowledge Base on the customization of the toolbar. It will show you how to add this button back in.

  Another possibility is that an add-on has been updated and cause the button to pass. I know that the recent update to Firebug moved the icon beside the toolbar +. You can try to start Firefox in Mode safe by holding SHIFT while it starts. If it works after you disable all addons and themes, you can start to turn them on one by one until you find the culprit.

• Add or edit bookmarks causes Safari to hang

  When I try to add or edit bookmarks on my MacBook Pro it causes Safari hang and I must use force/quit to get out.

  I use iCloud and when I try to add bookmarks in safari on my iPhone it is successful, and then it syncs to my list of bookmarks on my MBP, but if I try to edit this bookmark Safari hangs again.  As far as I can tell this has only started in the last days.

  I tried logging and again to iCloud and remove the iCloud list in Safari preferences.

  The software is latest version and works well in all other respects.

  On your Mac, open System Preferences > iCloud and then uncheck the box next to Safari and select re.

  On your iPad and iPhone, tap setting > iCloud. Disable Safari then turn it back on.

  Give iCloud minutes to re sync your bookmarks, then try to add or edit a bookmark.

  Combine the files as usual via file - create - combine files into a single PDF, just click on the Options button in this window and make sure that 'Add bookmarks' is checked.

  Sorry, website icons are not synchronized with bookmarks. The amount of data being synchronized would increase by at least 20 if the icons have been included.
