battery plugged in but not charging
Original title: why does my battery not charge? It keeps on saying plugged in but not charging
He has not yet changed.
Hello
-What is the brand and model of the laptop?
Was there any change in software/hardware performed on the computer before the show?
I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.
Method 1:
a. turn off the laptop completely.
b. remove the battery from the bottom.
c. leave the battery of the laptop for 5-10 minutes.
d. plug the adapter into the laptop (still remove the battery).
e. turn on the system and let it fully boot in Windows.
f. once it arrives on the desktop to launch all startup items. In other words, do not interrupt the boot process until everything is prepared.
g so go ahead and shut down the computer normally (using the START > turn off computer method).
h. once the system is turned off, plug the battery back in and turn on the computer.

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/solutions-to-common-battery-problems
Method 2: Uninstall the device battery from the Device Manager
a. click Start , and then start the Device Manager type in the search box and press ENTER.
(b) this will open the Device Manager.
c. under the battery option, right-click on the device that you see (method battery compatible ACPI Microsoft control) and click on Uninstall.
d. restart the computer. Windows will automatically detect the battery and try to install the drivers.
e. Once done, check if the problem persists.
If you have a spare adapter, connect and check.
If the problem persists, I suggest you contact the computer manufacturer for assistance.

My Satellite phone is plugged in but not charging
Plugged in and not charging - what it means?
If your laptop runs correctly but the battery is always on 0%, I assume that the battery is faulty and should be replaced.
I have the same issue on my Satellite A300. Battery is recognized correctly, battery charge LED is orange (State of charge) but battery stays on 0%.
Which machine do you have?

EliteBook 8540w: battery - battery load, but not charging
Hello
My HP elitebook 8540w works perfectly accept for one small thing, the battery. The laptop is bought in 2012.
When my battery is mounted and the AC is plugged in, it is said: connected Ac, battery charging. But in fact the battery in the logo remains static, and it does not charge. It's already a second new battery (first, I asked the supplier of spare batteries to send a new one, ordered through parts EET, accepted HP dealer for replacements).
When I run hp support assistant, he says: the battery is faulty, replace immediately.
Underneath, it gives the code: 9LN162-000000-XD7U3F-C0CU03
This was also the case with the previous "new battery." Same code.
I lost faith in the assistand of support from hp on this part, since it is already a second new battery...
I've tried all - remove driver for battery manager and holding down power button and other things.
Does not work. The fault could be in the laptop?
Help, please?
Niels
I contacted the service to call hp and they told me that the error code is not really explain anything about the specifics of the problem. It's probably the connection between the motherboard - battery and AC adapter plugin, because I tried different batteries, adapter, software reinstalls etc.
One thing however, HPA, he says that the status code is 0c. I have not encountered this code while browsing the web, you may know what it represents?
I will contact a repairman to do the hardware checks, since I am out of warranty.
Thanks for your help!

My laptop is plugged in but not charging
My phone displays 'sometimes' that it does not load even if the power is connected.
I called HP Tech Support twice. Each time, they asked me to update the BIOS and firmware
before performing the battery test (both at startup and using HP diagnostic S/W). The test always
said that the battery is OK. I can run the laptop without battery installed without any problem, which
probably does the charger.
This problem comes and goes. HP is unwilling to do anything until the problem can be clearly
identified. My warranty is about to expire (in 3 days), and I'm afraid that this problem won't get
resolved before this date. Could someone help me with this problem?
Thank you.
JC

Z570: Plugged in but not charging status message
Hello
I recently had a computer laptop z570. I get status above message "trendy but no charging current.
What is the reason for this?
What is an adapter or battery problem or one other change of parameter to enable this
I tried the 'Balanced' & 'High Performance' option on the options of power but had no luck.
Can someone give clues on this issue because I believe that this must have been discussed before here?
Thank you
try to remove/replace the battery first. Also try this trick: remove the battery and AC power, press the power button / stop for 30-40 seconds, replace the battery and check if it works.

Satellite L655 - plugged, but not charging
Hello
I have an a computer Satellite L655 laptop and it worked very well to the top until there's a week, where all of a sudden it shows the message: 'PLUGGED in NO CHARGE.
After a bit of troubleshooting, I tried many things including the battery removal and runs directly to the a/c power. Everything seemed normal from a mechanical point of view.
However, after having also updated the driver software of all 3 components of the battery (found by Device Manager), the only thing that works every time, but is quickly reversed, is actually uninstall 'compatible Microsoft ACPI control method battery'.
First of all, I don't know what this is... but I can't have to do each day in order to get my laptop to load. I can't always have a power when I need to use my laptop... can someone please help me know what on Earth has happened to my laptop and what I can do to fix it permanently?
Thank you very much
Anelia
Hmm, you could try to remove this compatible Microsoft ACPI control method battery and could change the automatic installation of the driver for the device.
1. Click Start, right-click computer and then click Properties.
2. in the list of tasks, click Advanced system settings.
3. in the System Properties dialog box, click the Hardware tab, and then click Windows Update driver settings.
4. Select never check for drivers automatically when I connect a device.
5. click OK twice, and then close the system dialog box.Now the driver for control method battery Microsoft ACPI-complaint should not automatically install.
But I guess this isn't a better solution for you, but probably only system restore would help solve this problem.
Otherwise, it could be a battery problem and this means that the battery must be replaced.

Qosmio is plugged in but not charging
Hello
Yesterday, I spilled my shake on my laptop... I managed to open it clean and everything works well EXCEPT MY battery, it is at 0% and every time I remove my AC my laptop turn off, then, what do I do is my battery died or my charger connector?
And what do you recommend I made m from Chanute, Kansas. I tried to call the Toshiba support center, they said that my laptop is still in warranty but they can't help me because I can't drop my laptop to Toshiba service!
Weird assistance):
Thank youIt is clearly defined that is covered by the warranty, and what cases can be repaired for free. Certainly, your question is not covered by the warranty. If there is mechanical damage caused by the owner he will not be repaired for free. Service box help m from you, but I'm afraid you have to pay something must be changed or repaired.
On this virtual path we cannot say with certainty what the problem is here, but all electronic power supply must be checked. To be honest, I can't imagine that the battery may be defective.
Anyway, what you can try is to get the new battery, test it and if the situation is the same it must be a problem with the power electronics placed on the motherboard.
