Tri - Question 2
Earlier, I posted a question on my work computer. I switched from Windows XP to Windows Vista. I work in Corel WordPerfect 8. I have several lists of names, addresses and dates of birth. This information is used for multiple lists. Most of the lists are composed of sort by name, but there is a birthday list of sort for each month of the year. I can add names to the lists, but I can't sort from my computer had Vista. It's really hard to find info. What is painted it enough to offer you any assistance? Thanks for the previous answer.

Initial question:
If these lists are open with / used inside WordPerfect 8 - your problem is not REALLY Windows Vista as can be with the incompatibilities of the old application.
You have the latest Service Pack for your version of WordPerfect - (7 is the last released I would think) installed? He is earlier than Windows XP, even though may make little difference.
If you have version 8.0.0.225 or later currently installed, you can download and install SP7 8 Corel WordPerfect Office of downloads site. You probably want to: ftp://ftp.corel.com/pub/WordPerfect/wpwin/8/wp8sp7.exe as a more direct route to it. To find out which version of WordPerfect you actually have in the menu select Help--> on WordPerfect. On the screen that appears, you will see a number that looks like 8.0.0.xxx. There is what you need to know.
Now - if it is outside of the WordPerfect (Windows File Explorer, for example) that changes things - but I don't get that impression of your new position.
Please - simply ANSWER This answer/conversation so that everything is well organized and all the people involved be notified of changes, updates, etc..

This accident report is quite a few weeks old and related to the format PDF use and had an uptime of 352 seconds. It's probably nothing to do with the current problem.
If you encounter a start incident which is not cured by trying questions Troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode and a new clean profile about the only alternative is to re - install Firefox.
Before that it is useful to examine the system crashing for any other reason, other applications falls down, possibly Firefox isn't the only cause of accidents.

I myself blocked on my computer. I didn't know that Apple was the administrator of the computer, and I was a user. I turned on the 'enable parental control' to limit the spending of my adolescence, while using my apple ID. I didn't know I was putting controls on myself. I tried everything-
(1) connected on Mac of my son tried to remote access, file sharing, etc. He is a Director on his computer, and we've even created a new user on his computer. Nothing has worked.
(2) tried questions help and support, impossible to find a way around it.
(3) I've changed my password, now I can't even shut down the computer.
I can't believe that this happened to someone, somewhere, and it's so easy to do.
Help, please! I tried everything-
Please take these steps to restore the privileges on your account. This somewhat tedious procedure is only necessary if you have verified that no work administrator account exists on the system.
If you do not already have a current backup of all your data, you must back up before taking any of the steps below. Ask if you need advice. You won't need the backup unless something goes wrong, which is always possible.
Step 1
Start in recovery mode. The OS X Utilities appears.
Step 2
This step only if you use FileVault 2. Start utility disk, then select the icon for the volume FileVault startup ("Macintosh HD", unless you have given it a different name.) It will be nested under another icon of the disc. Select open in the file menu and enter your login password when you are prompted. Then quit disk utility must be returned to the main screen.
Step 3
Select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
in the menu bar. In the window that opens, type this:
resetp
Press the tab key. The partial order you entered will automatically end this:
resetpassword
Press return. Opens a window to reset the password. Select your boot if not already done volume. Pull down the menu option
Select the user account
and select
Administrator (root)
Follow the prompts to set a password. It is safer to choose a password that includes only the characters a - z, A - Z and 0-9. I suggest that you write the password. If you don't write it down and forget about it, you will start again at step 1.
Select
▹ Reboot...
in the menu bar.
Step 4
This step, as step 2, applies only if you use FileVault. Sign up as usual, then select
▹ Disconnect...
from the menu bar or press shift-command-Q key combination. Do not restart. You go back to the login screen.
Step 5
On the login screen, click on the other... Enter 'root' (without the quotes) in the name field and the password set in step 3 in the password field. You should now be logged in as root. It is a potentially dangerous situation. Do nothing by being logged in as root except as indicated below. You'll be fine as long as you don't dismiss the plan.
Open the preferences users and groups window. Select your usual administrator account from the list of users and check the box marked
Allow the user to administer this computer
You will be prompted to restart. Do this and log in as yourself, not as root. Your administrator status should now be restored.
Step 6 (optional, but recommended)
Follow the instructions in this article to support under the title "disable the root user. You must authenticate in directory utility as a 'root' with the password set in step 3. As another administrator authentication will not work.

I need to examine the views of design like ALL_IV_PROCESS_TRANSITIONS etc in SQL * more.
-I login as the owner of the runtime (OWBRTREP) repository
-J' I run the OWBSYS. WB_WORKSPACE_MANAGEMENT. SET_WORKSPACE ('OWBRTREP', 'OWBRTREP');
-J' I try:
SELECT * FROM OWBSYS. ALL_IV_PROCESS_TRANSITIONS;
no row is returned...
(Granted OWBRTREP SELECT-rights on the view OWBSYS previously)
As a test, I tried questioning before ALL_IV_SCHEMAS and after doing the SET_WORKSPACE and allows to check that it does not return the data before - and returns 4 rows after. So the SET_WORKSPACE works and affects the session.
By browsing the ALL_IV_PROCESS_TRANSITIONS view definitions and underlying views, I end up getting a lot of data in the base table.
What we are doing wrong here?
(I know the sql user must be registered to a user of the workspace in OWB and the owner of the repository that I question).

Describes the steps in your scenario for me work: workspace layout you should see the contents of all_iv_process_transitions related to this workspace / obtaining of 0 means that you have not any transition.
You can also try to query the view using the OWBSYS user (as thought that it is the supported way) - just make sure that you set the desired workspace. You can also take a look at the underlying the view definition and make sure that you can see the contents of the underlying tables/views.Are you sure that you ask the correct repository/workspace? The all_iv_process_transitions view is supposed to reflect the transitions in the workspace where you design your workflow. I.e. If you use multiple workspaces (for example like separate design & DURATION) - you should question your workspace design, not the runtime one.

JAVORPS. granting access to public views OWB to user no - OWBSYS OWB (although not officially supported) could be obtained by OWB$ CLIENT and OWB_DESIGNCENTER_VIEW roles. (The two roles are protected by Word, but you can easily get around that through the third role).

Why Apple Support community-is such a maze. Surprisingly, after much effort, I have a question was asked and answered to (helpful but not completely). In trying to follow up, I have found no direct link in my email, no way to find my name in the communities of support and no way to push my question to the next level.
I know now how to disable "shuffle" in my ITunes on my IPhone. Is not very intuitive, as some helpful person has said. Also, the highlight on the button 'shuffle' is unnecessarily pale. So now, because since then, shuffle returned requiring manual turn off again, is there some default to shuffle? I've experimented with compensation the ITunes program and with the phone turned off/on. Neither returned me shuffle.
