  Are you logged in with an administrator account? You can't have good permissions since you get an access denied error message.

  How you try to remove Softonic downloader? Are you just trying to delete the file in Windows Explorer?

  Go to control panel, add/remove programs in Windows XP or programs and features in Windows Vista or Windows 7.
  They try and uninstall the Softonic downloaded if it is in the list.
