Trouble of blackBerry Smartphones transfer Blackberry 8707v Bluetooth media

Hello

I have a Blackberry 8707v, and I'm unable to transfer any type of multimedia files on my Nokia N82 Bluetooth device. I paried devices, but it still does not. Whenever I try to send a media file (I tried MP3s, miners and the png) of my Nokia phone it gives me the error, "failed to send.

Also, I'm not sure the model number as the model number appears under the battery is 8707v, but if I go to settings, and then click all in the camera, it shows as 8707 model number.

Can anyone provide any assistance in this respect?

Hang up... I have discovered the problem. In the same link that you provided, if you dig into the information from BT, he says BT on this unit is for audio only... no transfer of data.

I suspect it's the definitive answer to this issue.

Yes, looks like a problem with one of your applications when it works fine in safe mode.

To try to find the app cause you might try to use a task killer app and kill apps of currents at the time (stop playback and playback every time). However some applications automatically resumes when killed so it can be difficult to find the application if she behaving this way, but you may be able to eliminate more and then try to uninstall the suspects.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

    See this KB:

    • KB05409 Transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones

Replace the instructions appropriate for your other device instead of the transmitter unit KB section in the KB. Since you are on BB OS 6, the stage of "Receive using BT" is irrelevant.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Indeed, these IPD files are backups of your BB and are available as a source of food (they are a proprietary format and cannot be used for any other purpose, except by a few 3rd party applications that have been written to analyse). Choose the most recent one (the one with the most recent date and time, as displayed in the File Manager Windows) using this procedure:

    Hello DAVE4,.

It is not possible to move an icon in the Favorites panel to one of your other device panels your

  • BlackBerry Smartphones transfer of data from your old phone

I bought the new Bold 9900 and want to transfer the contact list of old Curve 8900 to new phone via Bluetooth. The 8900 transferred all the data, confirming the number of entries that it transferred, but the 9900 has received the first entry in my contacts list. How can I get all contacts in the 9900? Or, what I am doing wrong?

The best way to transfer data from one BlackBerry to another is to use BlackBerry Desktop Software.  I used it several times without problem.

    Hello!

If it is compatible, provided by RIM device switch Wizard will accomplish the task. You can read about it here:

    • KB05421 What is switch device Wizard
    • KB05459 How to use the switch device Wizard to switch to another smartphone to a BlackBerry smartphone

If this isn't the case, then you must use whatever your other device provides and export the data to a CSV file. Then, you can use the RIM software to import in the BB:

  • Need help from blackBerry Smartphones: send files via Bluetooth for my Curve 8900

    Hi all

Earlier this week, I made the change to a BB and overall I am very happy with it, but there is a thing that is annoying on the phone and despite my efforts and a lot of tinkering, I was not able to solve this problem, I'm looking for help.

I try to send files to other Bluetooth devices to my BB 8900 and I can't do work of t. strangely, I can send my BB files to other Bluetooth devices with no problems but I can't send things on my device.

    I lived the articles (e.g. http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB04132&slic... )

    but in vain.

In a nut shell, I enabled bluetooth on my camera, I made detectable and combined with other devices that I am trying to transfer files from, I went into options of the terminal for these devices and their confidence, and then I tried to send files.

If I send from another phone (LG viewty) or Nokia E61i, I get an error message indicating that "send failed".

If I send a computer that was paired, I select the file I want to send > right click > sent to > Bluetooth > other and select my BB8900 in the list of paired devices. At this point, the computer appears to try to send the file, but I am presented with an error message indicating "file transfer Service is not found on device BB8900."

Why is this? How do I am able to send files to my BB 8900 but not sent to it, and what can I do to solve this problem?

This problem is causing me a lot of grief that I have given on other phones, I need to transfer to my new BB, unfortunately I do not have a USB cable to one of the phones, so Bluetooth is the best alternative.

    Please can someone help!

    Thanks in advance,

    /Chuck
